ng Keqin’s fists clenched fiercely.
People around her nodded in agreent with expressions of approval while Lin Fu’s team mbers struggled to hold back their laughter, their features slightly contorting. If the person in front of them wasn’t ng Keqin, they definitely wouldn’t have restrained themselves.
ng Keqin took a deep breath, suppressing her inner rage, "You’re right, out of respect for Brother Fu Xing, I should indeed call you sister-in-law."
She emphasized the word "Brother" when she spoke, making it hard not to read between the lines.
"Little Sister ng is very polite, and I, your sister-in-law, am very happy." Lin Fu smiled warmly, her face betraying nothing, but her inner fury was almost suffocating her.
"Aide."
ng Keqin waved her hand, and a young woman with an expressionless face walked over, holding a delicate box.
"This is a gift I brought specially for you, I hope you like it." ng Keqin personally handed the gift to Lin Fu, her smile gentle, "It’s the first-place dal I won at the freshn competition, very morable."
Lin Fu opened the box, and inside lay a shining one-star dal, she exclaid, "Is this the dal you won over our Elbert? It truly is of great commorative value, I love it very much, thank you, Little Sister ng."
"No thanks necessary!"
ng Keqin couldn’t stay any longer, hastily bidding farewell and leaving, afraid that she would do sothing undignified if she lingered.
"Ah! Little Sister ng is really too polite, I, as your elder sister-in-law, didn’t even have ti to prepare a gift for her, how rude of ." Lin Fu watched ng Keqin’s retreating figure with a face full of regret, "In this competition, I must try my best to also win a dal to give to Sister ng as a gift."
Ivan and his entourage involuntarily shuddered, subconsciously staying a little farther from Lin Fu.
They exchanged glances in silent understanding, each seeing the sa three words in the others’ eyes.
"Terrifying indeed."
The spectators in the hall had just enjoyed a fascinating showdown for free, each of them not quite satisfied yet.
Morris nudged Qin Mo with his elbow, "Don’t you feel sothing’s off? They seed very friendly, and the atmosphere was good too, but I felt a chill."
"More than just a chill! It was like a battlefield with swords drawn and arrows flying, a chaotic scene."
A familiar voice ca from behind.
When they turned around, it was Colonel Moson from the First Military Command College, who was the representative at this new freshn competition. He was also ng Keqin’s classmate, and although their career paths had diverged, their military ranks and qualifications were comparable.
"Colonel Moson."
Even Qin Mo showed great respect when he saw Moson.
Moson stroked his chin, "Was it exciting?"
Qin Mo replied with a helpless expression, "Colonel, when did you beco so gossipy?"
"Because this is Fu Xing’s gossip! It’s rare, and I couldn’t miss the chance to hear it."
Morrison mumbled softly, "You’re obviously jealous of Senior Fu Xing."
Moson slapped him irritably and turned to follow in the direction ng Keqin had gone.
Tonight, the First Military Officer Command College was hosting a grand cocktail party to entertain various dignitaries, and as a representative of the school, Moson naturally had the credentials to participate. He had co here specifically to look for ng Keqin.
Tonight, ng Keqin was one of the very important guests, even considered one of the public faces of the First Military Command College.
As he passed by Lin Fu, Moson couldn’t help but glance at the young girl’s silhouette.
Currently, the difference between Lin Fu and ng Keqin was still quite significant; they were not on the sa level, but he saw great potential in Lin Fu.
