Sitting at the head of the table, Fu Xing had shed his military uniform coat, donning only a pure white shirt with the sleeves rolled up to his elbows, revealing wrists as smooth and lustrous as jade. He was leaning back against his chair, his attention focused on reading the military news.
A well-dressed butler stood behind Fu Xing, smiling benevolently, perfectly fulfilling the duties of a butler, with everything tailored to the master’s moods and preferences.
Completely unconcerned with the dining hall’s silent chaotic scene.
