Chapter 197: Chapter 197: Cooking Separately
“Get up, keep going!”
“No more!”
She was nearly dead, yet she continued.
Just then, soone suddenly ca running over with a small photography device, bombarding Lin Fu’s face with shots. After finishing, they retreated to take a wide shot, their movents smooth and practiced.
Lin Fu was dumbfounded.
“Hey, hey, hey… what is this?” she exclaid, looking half-dead. Is it even appropriate to film this?
Instructor Omnia mocked with a delighted smirk, “It’s arranged by your family. They’re filming for background material to be featured in the freshn competition.”
Recalling what the butler had said when he arrived, Lin Fu’s face darkened, and her speech regained so vigor.
“This is the Military Academy’s isolated training, aren’t you going to manage this? Just letting them film like this?
“People provided sponsorship, so of course, we satisfy the sponsor’s demands to so extent.
“Just how far will this go? With your hideous moves, you’ll be a laughingstock during the competition,” Omnia teased rcilessly. “Others started training at fourteen, and you’re already nineteen. It’s a late start for you.”
“I really can’t.”
“Weakling.”
That’s when Omnia finally called the dical team to carry soone away.
Lin Fu had arrived at Desolate Star Number Three without a chance to look around or regroup before the dical team whisked her away. She spent the night in a healing pod and only the next day did she bounce back lively.
Yet she still didn’t rejoin the team.
“I’m giving you special individual training, you should feel honored!”
Though Instructor Omnia’s words were harsh and she liked surprise attacks, she was a skilled teacher. Lin Fu quickly progressed from being a weakling to becoming a skilled lander in just a half a month, handling everything with ease.
But Omnia was still not satisfied.
“rvin took only three days, Ivan a week; even Nolan with his adolescent angst took only five days.”
Lin Fu felt challenged and pushed herself through all the hardness and fatigue.
Her awkward landing posture was gone. She landed beautifully and standardly and could flexibly perform various high-difficulty maneuvers in the air, sotis even pulling off stunningly brilliant moves.
Although Omnia never stopped her mocking, her eyes shone brighter and brighter with excitent that she could hardly contain.
“Cough, cough, we’re ramping up the difficulty for the next month.”
Lin Fu, in her sleek black and red Combat Suit, looked radiant and poised. Her delicate figure still conveyed a sense of fragility, but the spirited fierceness in her eyes was formidable.
Hearing Instructor Omnia’s words, she no longer displayed the casualness of before, standing upright, ready to listen attentively.
“The next phase won’t involve high alpine freezing conditions. Deserts, oceans, blizzards, and more are required settings. Desolate Star Number Three’s climate and shifting terrain et all those requirents.”
“Also, I’ve picked individuals from various departnts to form a temporary pursuit team. From now on, every ti you perform an extre landing, they will attack you. You may use any thod to retaliate, but you have only one ultimate goal, to secure the target item I’ve set.”
Omnia finished speaking and patted herself, as a strong clumping of footsteps echoed from behind.
“Report.”
Omnia gestured with her chin toward Lin Fu, “Co over, et your pursuit target.”
“Yes.”
Upon hearing this voice, Lin Fu felt relieved at its unfamiliarity; thankfully, it wasn’t a known rival, or else her days ahead wouldn’t be easy.
