Chapter 147: Chapter 147 She is Very Calm When Fighting
“Elbert’s not doing so hot this year!”
“All he’s done is make a fool of himself and break the rules. Trash like that should have been swept out of the Capital Star System long ago to save the reputation of the Military Academy Students.”
“You can’t say that, there’s still so talent around. Isn’t Young Master Lance always in the top ten of the overall Combat Power List?”
At the ntion of Lance, there was a mont of silence around, but it was quickly followed by a disdainful snort from soone who didn’t seem convinced, sneering, “What’s the use of relying on a single Lance? Can he hold down the fort?”
“Aside from Lance, the second year doesn’t have anyone worth ntioning.”
“I hope this year’s newcors can bring so surprises. I don’t want to bully Elbert like picking on a three-year-old, achieving no sense of accomplishnt,” said a young man with a sinister temperant and a charming appearance.
With short silver hair and a tall, statuesque figure, the uniform of the First Military Command College hung on him like he was made to wear it.
That was Frank Morris, ranked in the top ten among the newcors of the First Military Command College.
He had the capital to be arrogant.
“Don’t say that, Morris. We shouldn’t underestimate any opponent,” the youth ranked ahead of Morris reminded with a smile as he turned around, “Even if the opponent has lost their fighting spirit, we can’t let our guard down.”
The prideful Morris unusually didn’t snap back but reluctantly huffed.
The young man’s smile was warm as he turned to the side, his gaze settled on rvin. Suddenly, out of the corner of his eye, he caught a glimpse of Lin Fu standing shoulder to shoulder with rvin, and his expression showed a flicker of interest.
“Looking at rvin?”
The person behind the young man turned his head and glanced casually, saying indifferently, “I’ve checked it out long ago. The only person from Elbert who can pose a threat to you and is rvin. The rest don’t matter, they’re insignificant.”
“Did you see the girl standing next to rvin?” the young man asked with a smile.
“Hmm?”
The man behind him focused his gaze, but it was blocked by a sowhat familiar figure, “That’s Nolan from the Roman Rod family, the second son.”
No sooner had he finished speaking than he saw Mr. Nolan get kicked aside, clearing the view.
“Huh! To think Nolan would take a hit.”
“It’s her!”
The ever-stoic Morris’s eyes shot towards Lin Fu with the intensity of a hawk, a fla of amazent sparking deep within.
“That’s the one who drew the Big Escape Killing right in the Gravity Test Competition.”
The mont Morris spoke up, many eyes around them turned their attention toward Lin Fu.
For people from other Military Academies, the promising youngsters had already made a na for themselves during adolescence. A top talent like rvin had gained fa early on.
Only Lin Fu had erged out of the blue, never before ntioned in any records or achievents. So many were unfamiliar with her, information was even scarcer.
Fortunately, Lin Fu’s performance had been like a flash in the pan. From the data collected, her talent and abilities could be considered above average.
But fortunately, it had made her na known to all.
Now, seeing the person themself, it was difficult not to draw everyone’s attention.
“Her movent technique is very special, and her ntal state is also very stable.”
“Right, she was very calm during the fight.”
“By the way, I rember she conjured the Imperial Blade at the end of the Big Escape Killing, right? Did that just get swept under the rug? Did the Royal Family not say anything?”
“I heard the Royal Family had so reservations about it.”
