Shi Muzhou: "What an impressive show of force!"

He pushed aside the manager, straightened his jacket, and fixed a piercing gaze on Bo Yunshen: "Where is Yanyan?"

This wasn’t the first ti Shi Muzhou had asked this question.

Bo Yunshen lifted his eyelids slightly and said, "You ask , who do I ask? We’re divorced. Why would I care where a woman who annoys every ti I see her is now?"

"Superstar Shi, do you go back to check which garbage dump your shoe was taken to after throwing it into the trash bin?"

Shi Muzhou paused, clearly angry, but looking at the man in front of him, even though he was saying the most venomous words, there wasn’t a spark of life in his eyes.

Shi Muzhou hadn’t married anyone he disliked but had acted before; he knew that breaking away from a woman you disliked for a long ti shouldn’t be t with bloodshot eyes and a pale face.

He unexpectedly felt pity for Bo Yunshen.

"Forget it if you won’t talk, I’ll contact Yanyan myself. By the way, your divorce has caused quite a stir online; I’ve heard things even overseas. The deep persona Yanyan created for you collapsed—it’s bad for your company, isn’t it? Should I spread so rumors to spare you and Yanyan from being watched online?"

The last trace of blood faded from Bo Yunshen’s face.

Qin Yan’s friends were sothing else; after the divorce, each one ca over to mock and ridicule him!

Her judgnt of people was really poor!

Bo Yunshen moved his lips: "Get lost!"

He gripped the wheelchair tightly, exerting great effort to barely suppress the rage in his heart.

Clearly, Shi Muzhou had no desire to continue the verbal sparring; he let out a cold laugh and walked straight out of the hotel entrance.

Gu Jinyan pushed Bo Yunshen inside.

"Old Bo, what are you gaining from that trash talk? Aren’t you afraid Shi Muzhou will tell sister-in-law?"

Bo Yunshen sneered.

What was he afraid of?

Even if he said nothing, Qin Yan wouldn’t co back, right?

She hated him to death, probably was disgusted upon seeing him, didn’t he have to praise Qin Yan in front of Shi Muzhou?

Why should he offer affection to soone indifferent?

Bo Yunshen took a deep breath, "Are we staying at the hotel or not? If not, go sleep under a bridge!"

Gu Jinyan laughed.

No matter the status of Bo Yunshen and Qin Yan’s relationship, Gu Jinyan still pitied Old Bo greatly; a marriage without free will, and not even present for the divorce.

Gu Jinyan escorted Bo Yunshen to the suite and settled him in. As he was about to leave, Bo Yunshen suddenly spoke:

"Old Gu, find soone to follow Shi Muzhou."

Gu Jinyan was taken aback and then understood, looking at Bo Yunshen amusingly: "Old Bo, you were so relentless in hitting back earlier, finding your wife still needs his influence?"

"The key is self-awareness!"

Bo Yunshen’s expression didn’t change.

He had already called Qin Yan’s phone, only to be blocked.

Later in the hospital, he tried with Xu Lin’s; either it was out of service or turned off.

She wouldn’t turn on her phone; even with high-tech, he couldn’t pinpoint her location.

After all, Shi Muzhou and she were friends.

"I’m saving you so trouble. If you don’t want to, go ahead and fish for a needle in the Los Angeles ocean yourself."

Gu Jinyan: "..."

Pretend, keep pretending!

There’s no one to expose him anyway.

...

Qin Yan had no idea Bo Yunshen was in Los Angeles.

She had spent a day familiarizing herself with the work at Qin Group’s subsidiary.

Qin Yan didn’t intend to take over Qin Group; she originally had no intention of joining Qin Group.

Mainly, Qin Mingchuan had helped her imnsely, and Qin Group was really on the verge of collapsing.

Workplace darkness exists in every country.

At the company, people were dissatisfied with Qin Yan’s parachute arrival, didn’t cooperate at all. Qin Yan wanted to get involved in the company’s affairs, but couldn’t take root.

The leaders only enjoyed their benefits, the employees lacked motivation, all efforts were focused on preventing others from gaining power.

Having been at Bo Group, Qin Yan looked down on the situation at Qin Group.

When she got ho, it was already dark; as soon as she stepped in, the maid approached with a troubled expression, stamring:

"Madam, the young miss hasn’t eaten."

Qin Yan paused at the entrance, the maid continued: "Madam, the young miss barely ate at noon and hardly spoke..."

"Alright, you go rest. I’ll check on Yinyin."

The maid nodded.

Qin Yinyin’s room was upstairs, the house belonged to Qin Mingchuan, who was involved in so many incidents dostically, Qin Yan’s savings weren’t abundant.

Already with Qin Group, Qin Yan didn’t continue to humbly refuse.

The house was large and bright, Qin Yan opened the door to find Qin Yinyin hunched over under the lamp drawing with colored pencils.

Three-year-old children aren’t particularly talented.

The only skill to boast is the ability to make simple dishes.

Her drawing was vague, yet Qin Yan could understand.

A row of flowers, a segnt of a small path, still a cobblestone path; Qin Yinyin’s drawing was abstract, circles lined up, if it wasn’t for Qin Yan knowing her, would be unrecognizable as a path.

This was probably Xing Yue Bay.

Qin Yan took a step forward.

Qin Yinyin, absorbed in her own world, didn’t notice anything.

Upon closer inspection, Qin Yan saw Qin Yinyin crying.

Qin Yan’s heart tightened; when Qin Yinyin was around two, almost three, she was bullied by the nanny, Qin Yan thought she was wronged again and hastily lifted Yinyin from the stool:

"Yinyin, why are you crying suddenly?"

"Did Selena bully you?"

Selena was the maid’s na, Qin Yinyin shook her head, her large eyes clouded, "Mom, I don’t like it here, I want to go ho, when are we going back?"

Qin Yan’s expression tensed.

She had already sold the Xing Yue Bay house; they couldn’t go back.

Qin Yan didn’t know how to explain to Qin Yinyin, who wiped her tears and whispered, "Mom, everyone here is so strange, I only understand you and Selena."

"Mom, is Yinyin not a little princess, but Cinderella who accidentally entered a castle?"

"They all don’t like Yinyin."

Qin Yan’s heart tightened.

Since arriving in the United States, Qin Yan was worried about Qin Yinyin having communication difficulties and thus hired a maid who spoke Chinese.

But only a few days in and Qin Yinyin noticed the differences between herself and others.

She grew up in an environnt akin to a single-parent family, was sensitive, and prone to unnecessary thoughts.

Qin Yan held Qin Yinyin, sat on the bed, pursed her lips gently, and whispered, "Yinyin, do you rember the English cartoons mom played for you?"
