Bo Yunshen gripped the steering wheel tightly, the foot on the accelerator pressing down hard. The mont the car hit the road, it shot off like an arrow released from a string, chasing in the direction of the fleeing kidnappers.
No matter who it was, since they had brought the ga to his head, he absolutely wouldn’t let it go easily!
The kidnappers were clearly familiar with this stretch of road. By the ti Bo Yun and Qin Yan had caught up, the kidnappers had already disappeared!
A big road vanished as if into thin air. Bo Yunshen stopped the car at the fork, angrily hamring the steering wheel with his fist.

Qin Yan shuddered, answering the call quickly, "Hello, is there any news?"
It was Xu Lin on the other end. Before Qin Yan could hear his response, Bo Yunshen took the phone from her and turned on the speakerphone.
"Mr. Qin? As instructed by the president, I pulled up videos from the suburban seaside but found no sign of the Wuling van!"
Bo Yunshen’s brows furrowed slightly, and he asked in a low voice, "And the call? Have we pinpointed the exact location of the kidnapper’s hideout?"
Xu Lin answered, "The license plate number was fake; the one you provided was for a truck, and that plate had been canceled three years ago. I followed the trail of that truck to its location, which is in the Southern Suburb."
"Moreover, after reviewing the call records, the kidnappers did not contact many people within ten minutes—just four or five. We’ve already confird the identities of the previous calls, leaving only one phone number with unclear identity information."
"Through police assistance, we pinpointed the location to that abandoned car factory in the Southern Suburb."
Bo Yunshen’s lips twitched slightly.
He took back what he thought before—Xu Lin was sowhat useful after all!
Bo Yunshen licked his lips and gave a low command, "Notify our people to cover all the exits of the Southern Suburb Car Factory and keep a close watch!"
"Not even a fly should get out, wait for to get there!"
The Southern Suburb was not too far from the suburban seaside. Having grown up in Tong City from a young age, Bo Yunshen was more than familiar with the area.
He knew of a shortcut that could get him there in half an hour.
After ending the call, he started the car and headed toward the destination along that road.
The path wasn’t wide and was less than smooth.
But it had just rained, and the tire tracks were still visible on the ground. Bo Yunshen pressed his lips together.
Xu Lin hadn’t seen the kidnapper’s van—those people must have used this side road to get there!
Qin Yan finally showed so reaction; she opened her eyes and licked her dry lips, asking in a low voice, "When can your n arrive? What if we get there and they’ve already left?"
Bo Yunshen glanced at Qin Yan, whose eyes were full of anxiety.
"Don’t worry. You should know the Bo Family’s influence in Tong City. Xu Lin’s command will quickly bring nearby people to precede us."
"If the kidnappers make a move, I’ll be notified imdiately."
Qin Yan nodded.
She was gravely ill, her usually pale lips now were chapped, the radiance that she normally exuded no longer associated with her!
Bo Yunshen furrowed his brows and, without thinking, sped up the car.
Half an hour later at the South Suburb Abandoned Car Factory.
When Bo Yunshen and Qin Yan arrived, Xu Lin was already there, and so was Gu Jinyan.
As soon as they got out of the car, the latter ca over and inspected the car.
Gu Jinyan cursed under his breath, "Old Bo, weren’t you and sister-in-law going to pay the ransom? How co my car looks completely different after just one trip?"
Bo Yunshen didn’t explain, instead, he gripped Qin Yan’s arm with one hand, tightly, but still keeping so distance between them.
Gu Jinyan’s eyes deepened. Seeing neither child with them and Qin Yan’s poor condition, it didn’t make sense for Bo Yun to be here, let alone bringing along an invalid to catch kidnappers. Bo Yun wasn’t so incompetent, right?
Before he could remind Xu Lin that sothing was amiss, Gu Jinyan had already approached Bo Yunshen and Qin Yan.
"Mr. Bo, Mr. Qin. Where’s Miss Yinyin? Is she asleep in the car?"
"This place isn’t very safe. Should we have soone take Miss Yinyin back first?"
As soon as Xu Lin’s words fell, silence enveloped the surroundings.
Bo Yunshen’s expression changed, and he turned to look at Qin Yan. A hint of blood seeped from the corner of her eye.
Her hysteria seed to have poured out entirely at the seaside. Now, eerily, she said not a word.
"Where are the kidnappers?" Bo Yunshen asked in a low voice.
Xu Lin, though normally thick-skinned, could sense sothing was off. His throat felt dry, and as a result, his words ca out parched, "They’re still inside."
"You ordered us not to startle them, so we haven’t gone in to search!"
"Soone saw the Wuling van drive in there, and it hasn’t co out..."
Sweat broke out on Bo Yunshen’s arm where he was gripping Qin Yan.
He suddenly regretted bringing Qin Yan along. If Qin Yinyin had already been hard, what if the first thing Qin Yan saw when they entered was Qin Yinyin’s body...
How to manage Qin Yan’s emotions if they went out of control again?
He could see how important Qin Yinyin was to Qin Yan, and he was afraid—afraid that if anything happened to Qin Yinyin, Qin Yan wouldn’t be able to cope!
The night enveloped them, shrouding everyone in darkness, blurring their vision.

Conveniently, Xu Lin had co prepared with enough manpower, just in case.
Qin Yan suddenly pushed Bo Yunshen away, steadied herself, and told Bo Yunshen, "I can walk on my own, but please, Mr. Bo, you must catch them..."
Her voice was so deep that Bo Yunshen almost couldn’t hear it clearly.
"It’s to repay a past debt."
Bo Yunshen’s lips parted, but he couldn’t say a word.
He didn’t dare provoke Qin Yan further.
The road into the abandoned factory wasn’t easy to traverse, but the location here was good.
In the city, lights were just coming on.
Though the light didn’t reach here directly, the city’s din faded into the background, leaving a quiet and calm atmosphere, an ideal place to appreciate the night view.
Bo Yunshen followed Qin Yan, illuminated by the faint city lights as if he too had beco a puppet pulled by her strings.
The fear that grows with each step closer was sothing Bo Yunshen tried to suppress, but couldn’t completely control.
