"Knock, knock, knock!"
"Who is it? I’m asleep!" Li Buyan just ca out of the bathroom, wrapped in her nightgown. "Sui Sui?"
"It’s ..."
The man’s voice was dull, and the sound of pounding on the door was loud.
Li Buyan glanced at her attire. "I’m already asleep, it’s not really appropriate to see anyone. You can send a ssage."
"A ssage won’t solve this!"
The knocking sound persisted, louder and more urgent!
"Can you leave? Stop knocking already?" Li Buyan stood in the middle of the room, listening to the incessant knocking, her ears buzzing, feeling agitated.
"Open the door! Hurry up! Or I’ll climb through the window!"
Li Buyan worried he might really climb in through the window. It was windy and there was a heavy snowstorm outside. Was Li Xingle out of his mind?
She slowly walked over, her small hand hesitating on the door handle. The knocking didn’t stop. Taking a deep breath, she shut her eyes and opened the door.
Li Xingle reeked of alcohol, his tall fra leaning into her embrace, instantly taking her breath away, tightly holding her, almost suffocating her.
What was he doing?
Had he gone mad?
"Mmm, mmm, mmm..."
She wasn’t going to miss out a second ti!
Li Xingle seed to sober up a bit.
His dangerous gaze fixed on her, like eyeing a delicious al, ready to devour her whole!
Li Buyan stared at him in shock, her palm that had already hit him throbbing, as she slapped him again across his flushed face, "Are you sober now?"
"I...," Li Xingle felt his face swell up, "You sure can hit!"
"I didn’t an to," Li Buyan said, adjusting her clothes while retreating.
She still felt Li Xingle was unsafe.
"Co here!"
"I don’t want to! Get out! If I had known you’d go crazy, I wouldn’t have opened the door!" Li Buyan was pressed against the wall, her body tightly against it, her breathing becoming light and quick.
Li Buyan was scared.
So, in the middle of the night, Li Xingle had co to her room?
She swallowed, her body slowly moving. Just as she grabbed a vase, Li Xingle stood right in front of her.
"I’ve been drugged, help ..." the deep, hoarse voice echoed in her ear.
Li Buyan trembled, staring at his fiery eyes. Although she didn’t hate him as much as before!
"I can take a cold shower, so can you. Not only can you take a cold shower, you can even go outside and bathe in the snow!" Li Buyan tightly gripped the vase, "Don’t push ! Li Xingle!"
"I helped you, and you won’t help ?!"
