Chapter 927: Chapter 926: The Savior
Despite Ye Litian not knowing what Guan Shan represents, from Guan Shan being one of Tuo Shi’s people and Ye Chenyu’s shock, it was clear that the young man before him held a high status within Tuo Shi.
Since he possesses great strength, perhaps cooperation with him is possible. Right now, without any other approach, it might be worth a try.
"Tell , exactly what you want
to do?" Ye Litian asked.
"Seems you have so sense. Now, Su Changfeng has An Yufei protecting him, making it difficult for you to act. Therefore, I’m going to handle An Yufei while you take care of that trash, Su Changfeng," Guan Shan said to Ye Chenyu.
Ye Chenyu nodded slightly, reluctantly saying, "Without An Yufei, Su Changfeng wouldn’t amount to anything. Several tis, it was An Yufei’s intervention that enabled Su Changfeng to slip through my fingers."
Thus, the three were conspiring on how to assassinate Su Changfeng.
Within the vast lands of China, many places are picturesque and have beco scenic spots that attract nurous tourists. Yet, so places remain inaccessible to ordinary people.
In a place magnificent with mountains and rivers, perpetually shrouded in mist, reside so reclusive masters, and this place is Tuo Shi.
Tuo Shi has always been mysterious, with little known about it by the mundane world. Yet, such a mysterious existence does indeed exist.
However, since Tuo Shi’s establishnt, few understand its purpose. Even though part of Tuo Shi, few truly know; only those at the pinnacle of Tuo Shi are privy to this secret.
In a deep mountain within Tuo Shi, an elder practiced Tai Chi, a blend of hard and soft movents, with steps like the wind yet carrying a gentle aura. The elder wore a white robe, with hair tied up, and a glowing jade pendant hung at the waist, clearly not a mundane object.
Just as this elder finished a set of Tai Chi, resting by the tea table, soone approached respectfully, saying, "Elder Wu, Guan Shan has arrived."
The elder heard this news without much expression, blowing on the tea in his hand, and said blandly, "Hmm, I’m aware."
The person reporting noticed the elder’s indifferent deanor, puzzled why he seed unperturbed upon hearing the news.
Though he himself didn’t understand why Mr. Wu took soone from the mundane world as a direct disciple, he felt that Mr. Wu must have his reasons. However, now with Guan Shan in the capital city, surely he will target Su Changfeng, who is definitely no match for Guan Shan, the situation seems fraught with dangers. Yet, why is Mr. Wu so calm if he’s to take him as a direct disciple?
"Elder Wu, now that Guan Shan heads there, Su Changfeng will surely face danger, likely perishing at Guan Shan’s hands. Aren’t you worried at all?" the newcor asked with confusion.
"Do you know why I never wished to take Guan Shan as my direct disciple?" Mr. Wu countered.
The newcor thought for a mont without an answer, saying, "I don’t know why, but I’ve always wondered. Guan Shan is surely a rare talent within Tuo Shi, destined for remarkable achievents." Indeed, not only this person but the entire Tuo Shi was perplexed by Mr. Wu’s intention to choose soone unseen for direct discipleship.
Mr. Wu rely smiled, without a direct answer.
Seeing Mr. Wu had no intention to elaborate, the newcor’s curiosity was intensely piqued; Mr. Wu had ntioned it himself, yet now he wouldn’t explain further.
"I’m not so curious as to why you didn’t choose Guan Shan as a direct disciple; after all, Guan Shan has always been in Tuo Shi. If you wished, you’d have chosen him long ago instead of waiting till now. I’m curious why you chose that young Su Changfeng, what’s special about him?" the newcor asked.
Indeed, even without choosing Guan Shan, Tuo Shi has many outstanding young talents compared to Su Changfeng, any of whom excel in comparison. But Su Changfeng? Just a mortal, not even known by Mr. Wu.
Upon hearing these words, Mr. Wu laughed heartily. This left the newcor more bewildered.
"Do you know how I evaluate that young man Su Changfeng?" Mr. Wu said with a smile, resembling the air of soone challenging you to guess.
"Don’t think I don’t know what you’re thinking. If you want to tell , you surely will. But if you don’t wish to, even if I pry, you won’t say a word," the newcor said.
Having been teased by Mr. Wu earlier, and now another question posed, he couldn’t relent as before.
Mr. Wu curled a smile at the corner of his mouth, deliberately keeping suspense, waiting briefly before speaking, "He is indeed the savior."
The newcor’s pupils instantly enlarged, rendered speechless by shock.
If such words ca from anyone else, he’d perhaps smile and regard it as re conversation fodder. However, with Mr. Wu saying this, these words carried too much weight.
Mr. Wu valued that young Su Changfeng truly! This indeed surpassed his comprehension.
"Mr. Wu, are you joking?" The newcor kept his gaze fixed on Mr. Wu, afraid to miss anything.
The savior!
Mr. Wu even referred to Su Changfeng this way; what kind of abilities does Su Changfeng possess to earn such high regard from Mr. Wu?
"Do you think I sound like I’m joking?" Mr. Wu retorted.
"That young Su Changfeng possesses abilities beyond ordinary people. When you et him, you might also hold him in high regard. Most within Tuo Shi don’t comprehend the significance of its existence, but soon everyone will know why Tuo Shi was established," Mr. Wu said worriedly.
On hearing this, the newcor’s face showed more shock, and his heartbeat quickened. Now that Mr. Wu ntioned it, it seed a major event was imminent?
The newcor appeared stupefied, standing dumbstruck for a while before asking: "Mr. Wu, are you referring to that matter?"
Mr. Wu stood up, gazing into the distance with solemnity and said, "Indeed it’s that matter."
The newcor’s heart skipped a beat, as if struck by lightning, clearly unable to accept this fact.
"Elder Wu, if that young Su Changfeng is indeed the savior, why don’t you stop Guan Shan? Based on Guan Shan’s temperant, he surely won’t just pay Su Changfeng a simple visit; surely, he’s already set his mind on killing him," the newcor said worriedly.
"It’s a helpless act. Allowing Guan Shan to trouble Su Changfeng aims to enable Su Changfeng to beco my direct disciple," sighed Mr. Wu.
The newcor looked puzzled; Mr. Wu’s initial plan was to go personally, but for so unknown reason, he changed plans, having An Yufei go first to protect Su Changfeng. Was the sudden change due to fearing Su Changfeng might reject him?
Could there even be such a possibility?
