Chapter 872: Chapter 871: Bone-Chilling Cold
Sun i looked at Shen Hanxue with a face full of terror. She really had done that thing, but how could Shen Hanxue know about it? At the ti in the room, aside from Zhenhua, who should have been dead but wasn’t, there definitely wasn’t anyone else present.
Sun i was certain that no one else knew about this matter.
"You’re spouting nonsense, Han Xue, I’m your real mom! Why are you accusing ?" Sun i said with a face full of panic. Right now, she couldn’t admit to doing it, otherwise, even if Shen Hanxue was willing to forgive her, Ji Hong and Ye Qingtian certainly wouldn’t.
"You say I’m accusing you? The day you threw Su Changfeng on the balcony, my dad was already awake. He watched the entire process with open eyes. My dad continued to pretend he was unconscious to avoid you dealing him a fatal blow. That transford the matter into a secret only you know, which is why he endured your daily beatings. It’s all because I delayed today, otherwise, my dad wouldn’t have had to endure your beatings." Shen Hanxue said.
Upon hearing this, Sun i’s legs went weak, and she sat down directly. Shen Zhenhua had already been awake!
If he had seen everything, she wouldn’t be able to explain herself no matter how hard she tried, and all the responsibility would fall on her.
"Your dad is absolutely mistaken, he’s talking nonsense. Su Changfeng is my granddaughter, how could I treat her like that? It’s definitely not , absolutely not ." Sun i hastily tried to explain, her face full of panic.
Shen Hanxue smiled bitterly. Sun i still had the nerve to claim Su Changfeng as her granddaughter? If she really cared about that blood relationship, why would she do such a vicious thing to Su Changfeng?
"From this mont on, our mother-daughter relationship is severed. You are no longer my mom." Shen Hanxue declared resolutely.
Such a malicious person as Sun i had no right to be her mother. Shen Hanxue would no longer care about such familial ties.
Ji Hong stood up with a grim face, grabbed Sun i’s hair, and slapped her face repeatedly.
Sun i let out painful screams, and her face quickly beca swollen, looking very cruel.
But Ji Hong didn’t stop there. Each slap was harder than the previous one, as if venting the rage burning inside her.
Sun i pleaded in agony, but her cries, no matter how pitiful, couldn’t evoke sympathy from anyone else around, even Chen Qingqing believed she deserved it.
As the saying goes, even a tiger won’t eat its cubs, but Sun i committed an infuriating act, unworthy of forgiveness or sympathy from others.
"To do such a vicious thing to my precious granddaughter! Even killing you would be too lenient!" After her palms were red from striking, Ji Hong rcilessly dragged Sun i up to the second floor of the villa.
Crying, Sun i struggled, but Ji Hong, exploding with energy, didn’t give Sun i any chance to escape.
On the second floor, Ji Hong said grimly, "The pain my granddaughter suffered must be paid back double by you today."
After saying this, Ji Hong forcefully tore off Sun i’s clothes and shoved her onto the balcony.
The frigid wind howled in the bitter cold of this weather. Even wearing layers of clothes one would feel freezing standing outside, let alone without any clothes.
"If you really can’t take it, then just jump from here." Ji Hong said coldly before locking the balcony door.
Sun i rushed to the door, banging on it desperately, her body trembling violently from the cold, until she had no choice but to kneel there, begging Ji Hong for rcy.
Inside the glass door, Ji Hong stood watching with cold eyes.
Is there pity, sympathy?
Many in this world might arouse these emotions in Ji Hong, but Sun i was definitely not among them.
Sun i deserved no pity and had no right to expect sympathy.
Before long, Sun i’s lips began to turn purple from the cold, her strength to pound on the door diminishing, but did she have the courage to jump from the balcony?
Clearly, a person like Sun i didn’t possess such courage.
She hid in the corner of the balcony, as much as possible shielding herself from the wind, resigning herself to endure the cold, hoping to sohow survive.
First floor of the villa.
A porcelain bowl shattering in his hand, Huo Tian restrained the murderous intent rising inside him.
He regarded Su Changfeng as his own grandson and definitely considered Su Changfeng as his great-grandchild. If the kidnapper dared to appear before him, he would torture them to death without hesitation.
Yet since this matter was connected to Sun i, he couldn’t make that decision.
"How should we deal with Sun i now?" Huo Tian asked Ye Qingtian.
Ye Qingtian took multiple deep breaths, calming his emotions, then said, "Sun i cannot die yet. Su Changfeng is Changfeng’s child; Sun i’s fate should be decided by Su Changfeng upon returning. But until Chang Feng returns, let that malicious woman pay the price for her actions."
Huo Tian nodded, agreeing wholeheartedly with Ye Qingtian’s words.
Since Su Changfeng hadn’t returned to Jiang City yet, they couldn’t presu to decide Sun i’s punishnt.
Ye Qingtian approached Shen Hanxue, gently patting her shoulder, and advised, "Han Xue, that woman, Sun i, has no relation to our Ye Family anymore. When Chang Feng passes his judgnt, don’t be soft-hearted."
Shen Hanxue, filled with bitterness, said, "You can rest assured, Grandpa, that woman is no longer qualified to be my mother, and I’m no longer her child. When Chang Feng returns, even if it ans death for her, I won’t object."
Ye Qingtian nodded, then said, "I need to return to Beijing. Handle matters here after I leave."
"Why do you suddenly need to return to Beijing, Grandpa?" Shen Hanxue asked, puzzled.
"So minor issues that require my presence. Don’t worry." Ye Qingtian replied.
Upon hearing this, Shen Hanxue didn’t inquire further.
On the balcony on the second floor of the villa, Sun i was now completely stiff from the cold, fully experiencing how Su Changfeng felt back then.
