Chapter 641: Chapter 642: Qing Yin Enters the Palace Again
Su Changfeng had not paid attention to Qing Yin’s activities for a long ti because Qing Yin hid his actions so deeply that Su Changfeng decided to let him be and let ti reveal the truth. Yet, Su Changfeng never thought that, despite being caught so many tis, Qing Yin still hadn’t learned from his mistakes!
"I’m having dinner right now, I’ll check on it later." Su Changfeng said.
After hanging up the phone, Yue Qingshan asked, "What’s going on?"
"Just a minor issue. A friend got imprisoned again for flirting with won." Su Changfeng said.
"Again?" Yue Qingshan frowned and said, "Seems like your friend is quite persistent."
Su Changfeng paused; Qing Yin is indeed terribly persistent in this matter.
"I guess that’s the case."
After dinner, Su Changfeng left ho, driving towards the place where Qing Yin was being held.
For soone like Qing Yin, who had many prior offenses, it could be said that he visited this place regularly, and many people in the prison were familiar with him.
Qing Yin squatted in a temporary holding cell, looking troubled.
After the last incident, Qing Yin had learned his lesson; he wouldn’t flirt with a woman just because he liked her. However, this ti, he fell into a trap unexpectedly! They demanded money from Qing Yin, but his wallet was cleaner than his face, leaving him no choice but to watch as they called the police.
"Do you have a particular habit? You’ve been here several tis and still don’t know how to restrain yourself. Do you really want to be locked up for 4 or 5 years to be satisfied?" Su Changfeng said when he arrived at the prison and saw Qing Yin, his face full of disbelief.
"Brother!" Qing Yin cried with tears and sniffles to Su Changfeng: "This ti it really wasn’t my fault. Both the woman and I were willing parties, but I didn’t expect, after booking the room and just entering, a group barged in claiming I was fooling around with his wife, insisting I pay up. Where can you find justice in this?"
"Would you have been tricked if you had just behaved yourself?" Su Changfeng said, looking exasperated.
Qing Yin cried so woefully that even the others locked up with him felt sympathy for his situation.
But Su Changfeng knew that Qing Yin could act; he could be an actor. Whether the situation was really as Qing Yin described needed verification.
"You’ll be here for a few days to reflect on yourself." Su Changfeng said.
"Please, boss, get
out of here. I don’t want to waste ti. I plan to serve you." Qing Yin pleaded urgently.
"You think this is a supermarket where you can just leave whenever you want? I’m not that capable." Su Changfeng retorted disdainfully.
With his thods, he could indeed help Qing Yin leave, but Su Changfeng felt there was no need to do so. If this guy didn’t learn to restrain himself, he might as well make the prison his ho. Su Changfeng didn’t want to waste all his ti on such trivial matters.
"Brother, help
this one ti. I swear I won’t dare again; from now on, I’ll stay close to you every day and won’t ss around anymore. Can you trust
this one ti, please?" Qing Yin cried out.
Su Changfeng frowned; Qing Yin ntioned twice his willingness to stay with him, indicating a clear purpose.
Could it be that he wasn’t acting out of desire but to draw attention?
During this ti, there was a certain distance between him and Qing Yin; if Qing Yin had another agenda, then this distance might not be favorable in Qing Yin’s eyes.
Thus, Qing Yin was perhaps trying to get closer to him, which could be a possibility.
Su Changfeng looked at Qing Yin in prison clothes, pondered for a mont, then said, "Wait for ."
Leaving the temporary prison, Su Changfeng contacted Zhu Lie, and before long, a middle-aged man respectfully approached Su Changfeng.
"Are you Mr. Ye?" the middle-aged man asked Su Changfeng. Zhu Lie had just contacted him, indicating that fulfilling Su Changfeng’s requests was paramount, and he wouldn’t dare neglect such a figure.
"That’s correct, can I check Qing Yin’s personal belongings?" Su Changfeng didn’t act superior. He wouldn’t bully others with his position, especially when needing help, so he couldn’t afford arrogance.
"Of course, please follow ." the middle-aged man said.
The two went to a storage room where all the detainees’ personal belongings were kept in transparent bags with labels. The middle-aged man quickly found Qing Yin’s belongings and handed them to Su Changfeng.
"Mr. Ye, these are Qing Yin’s belongings. I’ll be outside; if you need anything, just call ." the middle-aged man said, indicating how much importance he placed on Su Changfeng by leaving him alone in the room, which was restricted to outsiders.
"Thank you." Su Changfeng politely responded.
After the middle-aged man left, Su Changfeng took out all of Qing Yin’s belongings.
The clothes weren’t much of interest; Su Changfeng was just looking to see if there were clues to Qing Yin’s true identity or any items indicating Qing Yin’s objectives.
A seemingly valuable jade caught Su Changfeng’s attention, but unfortunately, it couldn’t provide much insight.
Among them was a black box that looked like a matchbox, but despite spending a long ti, Su Changfeng couldn’t open it. The box had a very intricate lock chanism, known only to those familiar with it.
Su Changfeng thought the small box might contain items related to Qing Yin’s identity or purpose, but unfortunately, it couldn’t be decrypted quickly.
Putting the box in his pocket, Su Changfeng walked out of the storage room and said to the middle-aged man, "Thank you."
"If Mr. Ye has any further requests, feel free to let
know; I’ll do my best to help you achieve them." the middle-aged man said.
"Can I take Qing Yin away with ?" Su Changfeng asked.
"Of course, we’ve already investigated and confird that this ti he was extorted by a gang of habitual offenders, and he can leave anyti." the middle-aged man replied.
Outside the prison, Qing Yin erged with a clearly troubled expression.
The black box he always kept close had never gone missing because it was a particularly significant item given by his master before he died. The box supposedly contained secrets that could grant imnse power.
Though Qing Yin didn’t quite believe it, it was the only relic left by his master, so Qing Yin took great care in preserving it. But now, the small box was nowhere to be found.
"Are you looking for this?" At that mont, Su Changfeng, who had been waiting outside the prison, extended his right hand, holding the box Qing Yin was searching for between two fingers.
