Capítulo 1138: Chapter 1137: Savior

However, Su Changfeng is sowhat different. Although he is a newcor in Tuo Shi, it’s not because he’s lacking in strength, but because Tuo Shi has never paid attention to him.

“If I told you that the one who might save Tuo Shi is Su Changfeng, what would you think?” Elder Wu said.

Save Tuo Shi?

Su Changfeng?

Yin Zhengyuan knew it was inappropriate, but he couldn’t help it and just laughed out loud.

He didn’t even think it was a joke anymore; it was simply wishful thinking.

Back when they fought against the Outer Domain, it took the sacrifice of over a thousand Heavenly Level masters to achieve peace for so long. But now, Elder Wu says Su Changfeng could save Tuo Shi. This is utterly ridiculous.

“Elder Wu, even though I too hope for a savior, that person can absolutely not be Su Changfeng. It’s just too absurd,” Yin Zhengyuan said dismissively.

Elder Wu smiled slightly, not explaining much. His trust in Su Changfeng ca more from an intuition. If he were to tell the truth, they would probably think he was crazy.

Yet, with this intuition, Elder Wu had an indescribable subtle feeling. He truly believed in Su Changfeng, although it sounded a bit unbelievable.

The mont he saw Su Changfeng, he knew this young man was extraordinary. He even thought of the Forbidden Land of Tuo Shi the first ti, as if it were a destined fate that couldn’t be explained by common sense. But he believed it in his heart.

“Yin Zhengyuan, when I go to the Outer Domain, I hope you will support Su Changfeng, to stabilize his position as the Squad Leader of Shangyun Pavilion. I believe, given the chance, he can beco the key force against the Outer Domain!” Elder Wu said.

Support was just Elder Wu’s euphemistic way of putting it. He hoped Yin Zhengyuan would give him so face and not make things too difficult for Su Changfeng. If Yin Zhengyuan insisted on interfering with the affairs of Shangyun Pavilion, Su Changfeng’s days would be even tougher.

“Elder Wu, putting all your chips on him is your business, but I don’t want to. As for Shangyun Pavilion, don’t worry, I will absolutely not interfere in any of its affairs.”

Putting all his chips on a newcor was sothing Yin Zhengyuan couldn’t do or even think of, as it seed to him like making a joke about the future of Tuo Shi.

“Perhaps if you change your perspective, you’ll find a different kind of surprise,” Elder Wu said.

“You don’t need to try convincing ; since I’m in charge of Lingxiao Pavilion, I naturally have to shoulder my responsibilities. I can’t afford to take such risks. If people find out about this, wouldn’t Tuo Shi beco a laughingstock?” Yin Zhengyuan said outright.

Elder Wu was a bit helpless, but seeing Yin Zhengyuan’s firm attitude, he didn’t say much more, although his thoughts wouldn’t change.

Upon leaving the Forbidden Land, when Elder Wu just returned to Shangyun Pavilion, his assistant hurriedly ca to greet him.

“Elder Wu, how are things?” the assistant asked nervously.

“Not very good!” Elder Wu sighed. The energy fluctuations in the Outer Domain showed drastic changes, perhaps indicating that the creatures of the Outer Domain were restless, which was not good news for any of them.

“Not very good? From your appearance, I can’t see any worry!” The assistant didn’t know whether to say he was big-hearted or not.

“Haha, do you have to see

frowning to feel happy?” Elder Wu laughed in bemusent. His emotions were complicated, but since the situation was set, even crying wouldn’t change it, so he might as well face it optimistically.

After all, blessings are not disasters, and if they are disasters, one cannot avoid them. Maybe there’ll be a silver lining.

“Is there really no way at all?” the assistant couldn’t help asking, knowing the severe consequences if this happened—it concerned the survival of all humanity.

“Yes, there is!” Elder Wu nodded decisively.

“Really? That’s great, Elder Wu, you almost scared

to death. Since you have a solution, why didn’t you tell

sooner? You’re really scaring ,” the assistant’s eyes lit up instantly. No wonder Elder Wu wasn’t worried; it turned out he had already co up with a solution early on.

“I wanted to tell you, but was worried you wouldn’t believe ,” Elder Wu said.

“Whether I believe it or not, you have to say it first. What if I actually believe in it?” The assistant couldn’t help but laugh.

“Su Changfeng is the Savior, and the crisis of Tuo Shi can only be resolved by him. When I say this, do you believe it?” Elder Wu said.

The assistant’s smile froze at the corners of his mouth, saying, “Elder Wu, you’re getting better at joking now. What exactly attracted you to Su Changfeng that you could say sothing like this?”

“See, if I don’t tell you, you keep pressing for answers, and when I do tell you, you don’t believe . What can I say to that?” Elder Wu said with a wry smile.

“I’d like to believe you, but the key is that the statent has no credibility! Not just , but ask anyone in Tuo Shi—who would believe such words? Even if it’s a joke, it should be based on facts, right?” The assistant shook his head in helplessness.

It puzzled him how Su Changfeng had enthralled Elder Wu to such an extent, causing him to have such a ridiculous idea, which defied common understanding.

Handing Shangyun Pavilion over to Su Changfeng was one thing, but now claiming he’s the Savior was simply too amusing.

“How many years have you been with ?” Elder Wu suddenly asked.

The assistant was stunned for a mont, seemingly not expecting Elder Wu to ask such a question suddenly. But after a mont of surprise, he said, “Forty-five years. Since I joined Tuo Shi, I’ve been following you.”

“In all these years, have I ever made a joke with you?” Elder Wu’s gaze suddenly beca serious.

The assistant paused slightly, then thought for a mont.

Making a joke with himself?

Seriously thinking about it, it seed that Elder Wu had never joked with him. No matter what Elder Wu did, he was extrely serious, which was sothing he was deeply aware of.

“I don’t think so,” the assistant said.

“If that’s the case, why would you think I’d joke with you, especially on sothing so important?” Elder Wu’s gaze suddenly beca sharp.

Hearing this, the assistant took a deep breath, his expression finally turning serious.

“Elder Wu, are you saying it’s true, that Su Changfeng is really the Savior?” The assistant clearly felt his voice trembling uncontrollably.

Elder Wu did not directly answer him. Instead, he looked off into the distance and didn’t retract his gaze for a long ti, yet the light in his eyes grew brighter.

He believed that the greatest secret of Tuo Shi would be unraveled by Su Changfeng, and only he was the rightful Savior.

After a long while, Elder Wu withdrew his gaze, his tone calm yet firm, simply saying one word: “Yes!”
