Chapter 421: Temptation

“You... what do you want by bringing here?” Fang Yu asked as she slowly backed away.

“? It is just simple. I want to change the Future Tiline.” Solomon replied quickly. “Now that you are here, I am sure that once you go back to your Present Tiline, there will be a lot of changes that will happen, and that might spare from my current state.”
“Huh?” This reply by Solomon made Fang Yu more confused. “You are saying that you did all those things just to make sure that this Future Tiline changes?”
Fang Yu shook her head as she gave Solomon a disbelieving laugh.
“If changing tilines can be that easy, then many would have done it already! But from what I know, nobody had succeeded on doing that, so how are you sure that your plan on using to change your current tiline will work?”
Solomon snickered as he said,
“If I used other people, it will be really impossible for them to fulfill what I want. After all, the River of Ti itself is doing its best to prevent people from changing ti itself.”
Fang Yu nodded at this, knowing that what Solomon said was right.
Fang Yu made so research earlier, and there she realized that even if so people at the Future Tiline were able to go back at their Present Tiline, they would not be really be able to change the Future Tiline.
It was because the River of Ti itself uses its power to prevent such things from happening.
With its power, the River of Ti can wipe away the mories of a person who ca from the Future, which will make it impossible for this person to change the Future, as that person does not have mories related to the Future.
These mory wipes were so powerful that the people who ca back from the Future does not even rember that they ca from the Future!
And the River of Ti makes sure that the ti and place that these people co back to was the sa ti and place that they disappeared when they went to the Future.
Combine this with the mory wipe, and these people will not think that they ti-traveled at all.
They will continue on living on, forgetting about their adventures in the Future Tiline.
It was said that even if a Tenth Stage Practitioner attempts to do it, he/she will also be affected by the River of Ti, as its power was supported by the Universe itself.
It was inviolable and unavoidable!
“Really Fang Yu?” Solomon snickered as he shook his head. He raised his fingers, forming the V-sign as he said,
“You know that with your abilities, you can evade the mory wipe, right?”

Fang Yu winced, knowing that what Solomon said was right.
After knowing about the mory wipe, Fang Yu realized that she is sowhat immune to the effects of the mory wipe!
She and her male body already did so transpositions between the Present and Future Tiline, but her mory still stayed the sa.
What was more surprising was that when her fully fused body appeared at Planet Thrae earlier, her mories were still not wiped!
It was as if her current Duality Godly Divine Beast Bloodline had done sothing to prevent the mory wipe from happening.
Until now Fang Yu was still not sure why this happens, but she decided to use this to her advantage later.
But now that Solomon had ntioned it, Fang Yu can really use it to change the Future Tiline!
“So you also knew about that huh.” Fang Yu slowly said with narrowed eyes. “I will not ask how you knew that, but are you really sure about doing this? If I managed to change the Future Tiline, the ‘Solomon’ I am seeing right now will technically cease to exist.”
“Well, I do not have any choice now, right?” Solomon said as he put his hands on his pockets.
He let out a cough as blood slightly dripped out of his mouth.
“No matter what I do now, there is no way for to recover completely.” Solomon said dully.
“Even if I managed to devour Tang Li now, I know that I will still die within 1 billion years. All my efforts before will be all for nothing! I do not want that to happen!”
Even if Fang Yu disliked Solomon, she faintly understood why Solomon did what he did now.
Imagine that you were an expert who was supposed to have a bright future.
But then a slight mistake that you did f**ked your body so bad that there is no hope for you to get stronger anymore.
You will surely be devastated, especially if there is no way to recover!
At that point, you will be willing to do anything just to undo what happened with you.
And if changing the Future Tiline is the way to do that, then you will have no qualms on doing so!
“Nice story, but do you think I would want to do that?” Fang Yu sneered as she continued on backing up.
“I am a carefree person, and one of the things that I do not like is when I am being manipulated to do sothing that I do not want!”

Solomon seems to be not perturbed by what Fang Yu said. Instead, he beca more excited as he replied,
“Well, you may not care about , but how about you and your friends in this Future Tiline? Are you sure you do not want to help them with their current state now?”
Fang Yu’s breath hitched after Solomon said these words.
Indeed, Fang Yu was worried about what happened to her friends here in the Future Tiline.
Are they still alive? Are they dead? Or are they going through sothing that is tragic?
“I will just tell you one thing Fang Yu.” Solomon said as he stopped on approaching her.
“Fang Yu, sothing catastrophic will happen to you in the Present Tiline, and that will lead to your life being more f**ked-up than mine!”
Solomon had to stop himself from giggling as he continued on talking.
“I heard stories about the future you. None of those stories were happy stories, and they all told the suffering and tribulations that you went through! Even I, who was a selfish person, could not help but pity your future version!”
Fang Yu’s face beca stoic as she continued on listening.
“Your other friends are dead, while so abandoned you.....”
“Your family? They were all dead too......”
“As for your masters? They also disappeared too, and until now, they still have not returned.....”
“And with all those tragic things that happened to you, the only person that stayed with you was only Tang Li. At that point, it was said that the future you treated Tang Li as her real sister, and the future you will protect Tang Li from any harm.”
Solomon let out a small sigh, as he found that matter ridiculous too.
“At that ti, Tang Li is the only friend and family that you have left.......”

After hearing Solomon’s words, Fang Yu slightly shivered, as she felt sothing deep inside her that she could not explain.

“How should I know that you are telling the truth?” Fang Yu said as she stopped retreating. “You tried to have killed before right? Didn’t you think that killing can also help you avoid your current fate?”
“Of course I thought about that!” Solomon said as he crossed his arms. He looked at Fang Yu wistfully as he said,
“Actually, I have 2 plans prepared to help avert my current fate.”
“One,” Solomon raised his index finger, which looked longer than his middle finger. “Is to do everything I can to kill you. By doing that, the in the Present Tiline will have an easier ti devouring Tang Li.”
“But I knew about your talent, so if I am unable to kill you until my recovery, then I will use the second plan, which is to make you change the Tilines.”
Solomon then let out a frustrated sigh as he said,
“And since you managed to not only stay alive, but actually get stronger as I recovered, I have no choice left but to make you the one who changes my fate.”
‘Heh, what a nice reasoning.” Fang Yu sarcastically said. “But even if you are currently suffering now, I will not believe your claim that the future is suffering. After all, you do not have any evidence that you can show !”
“Oh, so you want an evidence huh.” Solomon smiled as he said, “If I managed to prove that the future you indeed suffered terribly, then will you believe ?”
“Hmph, show sothing first!” Fang Yu haughtily replied.
“Well, if that is what you want... then co follow .” This ti Solomon dispelled the barrier and he flew up, going to the other end of his place which was situated opposite of his dark cave.
There lay a door with countless runes, spells and symbols engraved on it.
Solomon and Fang Yu approached the door and suddenly, Fang Yu could feel a sense of closeness to whatever was behind the door.
“After the future you was injured, she imdiately went deep in this Planet in order to recover herself.” Solomon said as he gazed at the door with a slightly complicated gaze.
“Before she took a sleep, the future you used her knowledge to create this door. As long as this door is here, there is nobody that can get near the future you’s body. Even in my recovered state can’t do anything to open this door.”
“But you Fang Yu, you can!” Solomon said as he slowly caressed the door.
“According to my deductions, the only one that will be able to open this door is the future you only. But you, Fang Yu, is just the sa person as the future you! That ans this door will allow you to open it!”
“!!!!!”
Solomon’s voice then turned sickly sweet, as if he was trying to tempt Fang Yu.
“If you want to know what really your life will beco, then open this door. If not, then feel free to suffer!”
