Chapter 227: Where is the magic lamp?
“Devourer of the Planets?” Fang Yu’s eyebrows rose after hearing the hideous creature say that word. And from the looks of it, the creature was pertaining his greetings to Tang Li!
Tang Li, who was just freshly out of the storage, looked at the creature kowtowing in front of her. Instead of getting scared, Tang Li looked smug as she talked to the creature.
“Bad! Bad! Bad! You attacked Sis! Bad Dog!”
“You call that thing a dog?” Fang Yu thought to herself as the creature started trembling. It did not seem to be even offended when it was called a dog. Instead, its head sank lower as it asked Tang Li for her forgiveness.
“Oh exalted one, forgive thy servant! I shall do anything for you! If you want to die, I will kill myself personally!” The creature then ford a claw with its arms that it used to stab itself!
“Shtop!” Tang Li said, effectively halting the creature’s action. She then proceeded to pat Fang Yu’s head while saying,
“Apologize to Sis!”
The creature hurriedly faced Fang Yu as it groveled at her feet. It gave Fang Yu the most humble look that it can give. Fang Yu knew that with a tongue as smooth at this creature’s she will surely receive so high-quality praise.
“Yeah, praise more!” Fang Yu thought to herself smugly.
But what she got was a praise that was also not a praise.
“Forgive , oh Great Milkmaid of the Devourer of the Planets. I besmirched your peaceful trip with my impudence. I really regret doing that oh Great Milkmaid.”
Fang Yu’s breath hitched after hearing that.
“Milkmaid?”
Fang Yu of course knew what a milkmaid ant. A milkmaid was soone hired to feed breastmilk to a baby.
From what the creature said, it was implying that Fang Yu feeds Tang Li milk.
Well, that was true, since Fang Yu usually feeds Tang Li at least once a day with milk. That automatically makes her a milkmaid. But of course, soone like Fang Yu will not be happy to be called like that.
“You f**king called a Milkmaid? Do you really have a deathwish huh?” Fang Yu’s killing intent exploded further after hearing that apology.

“....” Fang Yu was rendered speechless by this creature. How can she even refute about the claim that she was a milkmaid when she clearly was one?’
“Fine. You shut your filthy mouth.” Fang Yu said coldly. “Now, let ask you: What do you an with Tang Li being a Devourer of the Planets?”
“Eh, you do not know her great mission?” The creature tilted its head as it fearfully looked at Tang Li. Its features then brightened as it realized sothing. “Then this great one in front of must be a new one!”
“Speak. And you better swear an oath with your soul.”
“Ok. I swear with my soul that all I say was no falsehood. If I lie, the universe will smite my souls with millions of bolts!” The creature then spun a narrative that lasted for 3 hours. It managed to make its story as long-winded as possible, using repetitive sentences and superficial adjectives to increase the word count. If Wang Hao was here, he might say that this creature was orally reciting a rushed webnovel.
By the end of this boring narrative Tang Li was already fast asleep on Fang Yu’s head while Fang Yu was close to dozing off. She got cleared from her stupor when she did not hear the creature speaking.
“Ah. So that’s it?” Fang Yu shook her head as she tried to look regal. “That was... enlightening.” Of course Fang Yu already zoned out just an hour after the creature started speaking, She had no idea what it said for the remaining ti.
“Now that you gave the long version, tell the short version.” Fang Yu said shalessly. “This can be considered as part of your punishnt. Now tell that narrative to as short as possible.”
Now, it only took 10 minutes for the creature to tell the gist of Tang Li’s situation. With that, Fang Yu was able to ntally compile what the creature said.
The creature said that beings like Tang Li who were in a half-awakened soul state will be considered as devourer of the planets. Because their souls were now interrupted in the awakening state, their path to evolve as a planet was now cut off. Their souls were now fundantally changed by the interruption.
That ans Tang Li could not get stronger through the conventional thod of planet cultivation. She had to do sothing else to get stronger.
Now, for soone like Tang Li to evolve, she had to consu more and more planet souls. Unlike a normal planet who only had to wait until it soul was strong enough, Tang Li could not do that.
Her soul could not evolve naturally anymore due to the interruption of her awakening. It can only get stronger by forcefully devouring other planetary souls.
The creature also added that at the higher stages, Devourers will gain the ability to also devour the planet body itself, the stars and other heavenly bodies.
As for how many Devourers were there, they were extrely rare, since most of those that were interrupted during a soul awakening usually dies quickly. Tang Li was extrely lucky to survive that ordeal.

She then rembered that what Androda told her about Tang Li’s condition was different from what the creature said.
“Why did Agroda hid this information about the devourers to ? Is she wary about my stance? Or is she interested on Tang Li?” Fang Yu realized that Androda was turning more and more unfathomable at the mont.
“But since the Grand Elder said that she could be trusted, I guess I just have to talk to her later.” Fang Yu thought as she gave the creature a vicious look.
“Now that you’ve said your piece, tell , what are you and what are you doing here?”
“....” The creature looked at her fearfully pointing at its lips. Fang Yu sighed, imdiately realizing that the creature was bound in so way. The creature must have been not allowed to talk about its mission and itself. That ans Fang Yu still had no knowledge on what was happening to her.

The creature frowned as it said, “Yeah I can, but it must be a command of one of the Great Ones.”

“Hmph. Now then, return from where I ca from and you will scram, never to go back on that planet!” Fang Yu knew that with the creature’s lips sealed, she had no way to know on how to leave this place. Thus, she can only make this creature let her out.
But before the creature could do what it was told to, Fang Yu suddenly grinned as she thought of sothing. She looked at the creature while asking,
“Hey, is there no problem if I force you to co with us? Of course I will make you swear an oath to not hurt anybody. Is that allowed?” Fang Yu knew that with the reverence shown by this creature, it will surely follow Tang LI and Fang Yu’s command even without an oath. She just used an oath to make sure.
Beside, Fang Yu realized that she could not allow this creature to leave. If she did, this creature will surely spread the information about Tang Li being a devourer. Fang Yu does not need to know history to realize that so will surely co hunting Tang Li down if her status as a Devourer was discovered.
Thus, Fang Yu had no choice but to bring the creature with her.
“There’s no problem oh great one! I shall gladly follow you and the Great Devourer to the ends of the Universe!” The creature said with a zeal. “I shall do my best to serve you both!”
Fang Yu shivered, realizing that she must fix this creature’s speech patterns. She was happy that it was loyal, but she cannot allow it to make speeches like this! Only Wang Hao might be happy being praised like this everyday.
Oh, and she also have to find a way to make it less... scary.
“Then its settled then. You are joining us.” Fang Yu said with a sigh. She does not know if she got a gain or a loss at this mont. “Now, do your thing and bring us from where I originally was.”

She opened it after a minute, and she saw that she was back where she ca from.
She looked around, realizing that Androda was not here. She must have gone sowhere, trying to look for Fang Yu and Tang Li. As for Tang Li she was still on Fang Yu’s head.
Fang Yu then gave an incredulous look to the creature who called itself Genie.
“Hey, are you really called Genie?”
“Yes, t’was lowly one’s na.”
“Does that an you can grant three wishes? Co grant my first wish! I wish to have a harem of mature, smoking hot won hugging right now!”
