Chapter 392: Chapter 391: Soone Goes Missing

“Ah!!”

“No! Let us out!”

“Let us out!”

Everyone was afraid, the uniford figures firing their guns as they ran.

Su Mo tossed aside the corpse, her mouth at first letting out a tinkling laugh before it grew louder and louder.

Su Yao’s expression beca more and more excited as she changed, he knew that this ti it was a success!

The situation had suddenly reversed.

Su Mo had beco the eagle, while the group trying to shoot her dead had beco chicks with nowhere to hide.

She stopped calling for Ajin, leisurely prowling outside the room, easily pinching people to death one after another, like killing chicks. On her face, on her hands, on her body, blood that wasn’t hers kept accumulating.

“Please, don’t kill . My wife is pregnant, and I have kids. I was just taken from Zone C to be experinted on, please don’t do this! I’m begging you!” the last man pleaded desperately, retreating backward with his gun’s bullets all spent.

Su Mo’s eyes suddenly cleared for a mont, Zone C? Children?

She looked down, staring blankly at her hands. After her gaze lingered complexly for a few seconds, she mouthed, ‘I’m sorry.’

The man’s head erupted.

Su Mo quietly sat beside him, her head drooped, letting blood soak her pants.

That sight was almost too much for Lu Jin; he forcefully pushed past the people blocking him, his fierce eyes turned towards Su Yao, “I’m going to take her out!”

The experint had already been completed, and the result left Su Yao very satisfied, so he did not stop Lu Jin.

In the dark, Su Mo slowly returned to her own nature, the thrill of slaughter still lingering in her heart, but sothing nad sorrow almost overwheld her mind.

She knew that soone would soon co looking for her. She couldn’t let this innocent person go, nor could she feel sorry for what she had done. Inside her body was sothing Su Yao had planted; her Lu Chen and comrades were still waiting for her in Zone A.

She still had many responsibilities.

Su Mo’s eyes were indifferent as she turned her head at the sound of footsteps behind her.

It was Lu Jin.

She suddenly smiled, in the midst of all the bloodshed, her expression so sharp it made Lu Jin ache all over.

He felt like he had made a mistake, his own foulness dragging her down into the abyss.

What he wanted, had absolutely not been this!

“Ajin! Hug…”

She opened her arms to him, and the man squatted down compliantly, reaching through her legs to scoop her up around the waist.

Su Mo, looking at her fingers, joyfully asked him, “When can we play this ga again?”

Lu Jin’s steps faltered, his voice unusually hoarse, “Whenever you want, we can.”

“Okay,” Su Mo said, wrapping her arms around his neck. Out of his sight, a faint murderous intent radiated from her.

She had to find the thing planted inside her body soon. She feared she wouldn’t be able to control herself and would crush him first.

Lu Jin stepped over the corpses, carrying her out of the experintal arena.

As the thick iron scent dissipated, Su Mo’s heavy heart seed to lighten a bit.

She was cautiously cleaned by several won and then sent back to Eden House.

On the way, she looked up at Lu Jin, “What’s Zone C?”

She wasn’t particularly interested, but Lu Jin told her straightforwardly, “It’s where ordinary people work.”

“Oh! Can I go see it?” Su Mo asked, clutching his hand, her cheeks dimpling sweetly with innocence.

“Of course you can,” said Su Yao, who had just entered. He now had complete faith in Su Mo, believing in her as his own exclusive War God Queen.

“Daddy,” Su Mo greeted him with a beaming smile, “today’s ga was so much fun.”

“My girl, as long as you’re happy,” Su Yao touched her head, “from tomorrow on, let Lu Jin take you there.”

“Okay!” Su Mo clapped her hands joyfully, and after he rewarded her with a piece of cake, he left.

“Take a nap,” Lu Jin lifted a corner of the blanket, letting her crawl in.

She nestled in the blanket, her heart leapt when she saw him pull a fairy tale book from the shelf.

On it was written Snow White…

“I’ll tell you a story,” he slid under the blanket himself, bringing her into his embrace.

To tell the truth, Su Mo detested this physical touch, yet she couldn’t let it show on her face.

She lay quietly against his body, listening to the man’s voice above her, slow and deep, filled with gentleness.

Suddenly Su Mo interrupted him, grinning, “Ajin, if I gave you a poisoned apple in the future, would you eat it?”

His speaking paused for a mont, then he touched her head, “I would.”

Su Mo’s gaze instantly darkened.

In a place he couldn’t see, she curved her lips into a smile, “Okay.”

The man’s eyes were dark and inscrutable, he seed lost in thought, simply stroking her hair over and over.

Later, Su Mo fell asleep.

The next ti she was pulled out of the blanket was when she was about to go play in Zone C.

This was Su Yao’s last allowance of play before assigning her a mission, of course, Su Mo was unaware of it.

Following Lu Jin, she passed through the transparent passage, entered the elevator, and rose to Zone C.

As the door opened, she noticed that the people here wore a different color uniform than hers; each one wore black, a uniformity of n.

There were rooms for baking bread and rooms for crafting cold weapons— a glance around was like looking down a shopping street, but in reality, these were all services for the upper class.

While Su Mo looked on cheerfully, drifting among these rooms, her heart was bittersweet as she understood why Su Yao had allowed her to co here.

“Ajin, where did all these co from?”

“The lab requires labor to fulfill living necessities, all the n co here to work,” he explained lazily, seeing the confused look on Su Mo’s face, he knew she didn’t understand.

“Lord Lu, there’s trouble in Zone A, your mother has intruded, soone has disappeared,” a man in a black uniform ca over and spoke near him with a lowered head.

Su Mo’s heart tightened, then she pretended not to care and looked up at him, “Ajin, go quickly.”

Lu Jin’s face instantly turned ugly with rage, he called over a few warriors, “I’ll be back to pick you up soon.”

Su Mo nodded happily, and with a step, she dashed into a shop hanging with many daggers.

“Keep a close eye on her,” Lu Jin glanced at her sternly before swiftly departing.

Su Mo weaved through each shop with her heart in her throat. Soone had disappeared in Zone A, but who?

She couldn’t help worrying, her eyes also aimlessly drifting, and without warning, she collided with a pair of phoenix eyes.

She suddenly stopped in her tracks.

Behind her, the impressively imposing warriors followed closely; she suppressed her thoughts and ran into a room filled with various cakes.

The sight of her intrusion caused the baker, already pale faced, to turn even whiter.

“You…”

Then Su Mo grabbed a cake and stuffed it into her mouth, her gaze inadvertently scanning over a photo on the wall, a snapshot of the boy in a blue beret and the baker.

Last ti, it seed it was he who delivered the cake.
