320: Chapter 319: Watching a Movie 320: Chapter 319: Watching a Movie His sturdy chest pressed tightly against Su Mo’s back.

Placed on the bed, Su Mo stuffed a movie into his hands.

“Watch this, go put it on,” she nudged his thigh with her foot.

“‘The Unfinished Love’?” Lu Chen bit out a few words, then the corner of his mouth twitched as he t her expectant eyes.

A lump ford in his throat, but ultimately he complied, walking over to the TV and sliding the disc in.

After a mont of loading, the movie started to play on the screen.

It was a classic film from 1990, and the picture quality was still clear even now.

Back in bed, Lu Chen tucked her into the covers and joined her to watch the movie.

The two of them were like they’d gone back to before the apocalypse, enjoying a mont ant just for the couple, watching the film while quietly discussing the plot.

Snuggled in the man’s embrace, inhaling his pleasantly cool scent, Su Mo first beca intoxicated for a while, then got drawn into the movie’s storyline.

Lu Chen didn’t glance at the screen even once.

From the mont she nestled into his embrace, his thoughts had drifted elsewhere.

When her eyes began to redden with emotion from the storyline, he couldn’t hold back any longer and with a “snap,” pressed the remote control.

The room plunged back into darkness.

“Stop watching,” he said, pinning her beneath him.

On a cute face, the almost teary expression was irresistibly tornting.

And indeed, he tornted her as such.

Before Su Mo could co back to her senses from the plot of the movie, he had already grasped her slender waist and entered deeply.

On nights without crises, indulgence always ca easily.

As the sky gradually brightened, Su Mo finally fell into a sweat-drenched sleep in his arms.

In the morning, she was still asleep while Lu Chen had already gotten up and gone downstairs.

On the dining table in front of the kitchen, there was a large jar of porridge and so grilled sausages and buns, along with a big bucket of purified water that had been delivered.

Jiang Yulian was using the last of the kitchen’s gas to warm up formula for the baby.

Seeing him co down, she said, “Soone has already been here, said the Governor is inviting us to lunch at noon.”

“Hmm,” Lu Chen took a seat at the chair.

“Momo hasn’t co down yet?” Zhao Changsheng grabbed a bun and bit into it, sitting down at the side.

“Tired, still sleeping,” Lu Chen said nonchalantly.

He ate only a little before putting his food on a plate and heading upstairs.

Jiang Yulian, seeing his refreshed face, knew exactly what had happened.

But she just chuckled without saying a word.

When he entered the room with breakfast, Su Mo was already awake.

She curled up in the covers, not wanting to move at all.

Lu Chen set the food down on the bedside table and began to rub her waist.

With her face buried in the pillow, Su Mo murmured, “Are they all up?”

“Yeah.”

She turned her face around, her eyes full of reproach, “Can I make a request?”

“Go ahead.”

“Can we shorten the…

duration next ti?” Su Mo pondered, then squeezed out the sentence without daring to et his eyes.

Being tornted until dawn each ti, she really wanted to curse soone.

The large palm kneading at her waist paused, and he leaned down, his voice laced with clear delight and a hint of suggestiveness, “You should be proud of this.”

This man is getting saucier and saucier!

Su Mo’s cheeks flushed.

She moved his hand away and propped herself up from the bed, rubbing her face.

“Don’t do that again; there are people next door.”

“Okay,” he responded succinctly, but whether he would keep his promise was a different matter.

After eating the breakfast Lu Chen prepared and drinking so Biluochun Tea, Su Mo felt much better and was no longer walking with a clumsy gait.

The mont she stepped out of the bedroom and downstairs, the man by her side once again beca that expressionless, aloof man.

Su Mo couldn’t help but glare at him.

Sotis she doubted if the person in front of her was even the sa man.

Just thinking about last night made her feel flustered.

The man naturally draped his arm over her shoulder as they reached the first floor.

It was already very lively outside; from ti to ti, there was the sound of won and n talking.

A picture of tranquility.

The well-rested group was sitting on the fabric sofa in the living room, and no one gave Su Mo ambiguous glances.

It seed that no one heard the commotion upstairs between the two last night.

Su Mo’s suspended heart dropped, and she settled into the sofa with a normal expression, yawning.

“What are we doing today?”

“At noon, that Li Yun is treating us to lunch,” Zhao Changsheng said nonchalantly, legs crossed.

“Li Yun?” Su Mo suddenly spoke: “These two have the sa surna, are Li Ming and Li Yun brothers?”

“They should be,” Li Qian nodded.

With a couple of tsk sounds, Su Mo then looked at Lu Chen, who was sitting beside her.

“That Li Yun is a level 5 Spiritual Ability User.

Except for us two, everyone should be under his surveillance.”

Lu Chen rubbed the top of her head and spoke softly, “Don’t panic.”

Li Qian sat up straight, looking at Su Mo with a gentle voice: “I’m more concerned about sothing other than the epidemic prevention zone right now.”

As soon as he said that, several faces on the couch turned grim.

Li Qian: “If I’m not mistaken, that dog and the zombie ca specifically for you.”

The hand Lu Chen had placed on Su Mo’s head trembled, which she noticed.

She took his hand off and tucked her own into it.

“I don’t think it makes sense.

Da Bai becoming a zombie might retain so mories in its brain, so it recognizes .

Maybe it was an accident.”

Aunt Jiang couldn’t help but speak up, “Momo, Da Bai was a dog raised in the Jiang Residence from a young age.

By familiarity, it should have gone for Lu Chen’s clothes.”

At that ti, the two pieces of clothing with their scent were thrown out of the car.

The dog did not hesitate to grab Su Mo’s cardigan, but didn’t even glance at the man’s T-shirt.

Lu Chen looked down, fixated on her.

“Think, is there any detail we missed?”

Bitting her lip, Su Mo couldn’t figure out what might have angered the zombie even if she traced the tiline from the apocalypse to now.

After much thought, she could only say, “I’m not sure.

I don’t have any enemies, nor have I offended any…

zombies.”

Even Lu Chen was unusually clueless.

Su Mo had always been by his side.

Except for a separation of a few days during the shipwreck, there hadn’t been any mishaps.

Where did the problem lie?

Seeing him deep in thought, Su Mo pulled her hand back and rubbed his face.

“We’ll deal with problems as they co.

Let’s focus on the task at hand for now.”

“Mm,” Lu Chen nodded.

Outside the room, there was a knock on the door.

Li Qian stood up to open it.

An unfamiliar burly man was outside.

After exchanging a few words, Li Qian turned back and said, “We can go have lunch now.”

Su Mo looked around and asked, “Where’s Ling Ye?

I haven’t seen him all morning.”

Aunt Jiang laughed as she talked about Ling Ye.

“He should still be in his room.”

Standing up from the sofa, Su Mo walked to the bedroom on the first floor and gently pushed the door open.

The small figure was crouched on the floor, playing with two ani figurines.

She chuckled softly and quietly retreated.

“Lu Chen, let’s leave so food for Aunt Jiang and Ling Ye to eat at ho,” she said.
