209: Chapter 207: Situation 209: Chapter 207: Situation Su Mo had floated all the way to the rooftop when so rustling, intimate noises caught her attention, and she drifted through the door.
In the luxurious interior were two completely naked figures, and those two faces darkened Su Mo’s eyes.
She stood silently by the bed, admiring the sweaty face of Fang Ya.
Unexplainably, Fang Ya suddenly felt a chill on her back, and her body shuddered.
“Oh, baby, be gentle,” Lu Youwei kissed her shoulder, his body shaking montarily before he pulled the quilt around her to cuddle her.
“Can’t Lu Chen really be taken over?” Fang Ya nestled into Lu Youwei’s arms, feeling downcast.
“If you want him to grow up well, you should understand, the Lu Family is currently splitting, and I can’t help you with him here,” Lu Youwei kissed her forehead, feeling content inside.
“I just want him to grow up well,” Fang Yuan said bitterly, tears rolling down her cheeks.
“Jiang Hai has always wanted a child; they are very willing to help us.
When he grows up, everything here will be his, don’t worry.”
“Okay.”
Su Mo clenched her fist, fury in her eyes.
How could she describe this woman?
Foolishly pathetic!
Angry, she exited through the door and stopped short outside where Lu Jin was standing.
His shoulders shook like a sieve, tears falling without a sound, striking the ground.
He had heard everything.
Su Mo frowned, understanding that the personalities of the Lu Family’s three brothers had all been shaped by their family to so extent.
Lu Jin was violent, Lu Chen was cold, and Li Chuan wore a smile like a knife.
All extres.
Lu Jin stood at the door for a while before heading back to his room alone.
Su Mo followed him into the room and saw him sitting alone on a child’s bed, black hair hanging over his face, his eyes hollow.
Strangely, Su Mo felt sowhat pleased.
She floated over, and although she knew she couldn’t touch him, her hand still paused above his head, causing mischief.
A hoarse voice unexpectedly erged from Lu Jin’s mouth, “Who are you?”
Startled, she floated back, “You can see ?”
Su Mo waved her hand in front of him, but the boy’s gaze was not on her; clearly, he couldn’t see her.
No one answered his question.
Lu Jin touched his head, feeling the sudden chill just like he had in the car, “Are you a ghost?”
Still no response.
Lu Jin scoffed, his small voice tinged with mockery, “Coward.”
Su Mo: “…”
“[System, can’t you help disengage?
I just want to die peacefully.]”
No response.
Su Mo sighed; she didn’t want to see Lu Jin or deal with the affairs of the Lu family at all, but for several days, she had been stuck here with nowhere else to go.
She didn’t feel hunger or sleepiness, every day was filled with endless energy.
She boredly rolled around in Lu Jin’s small room, where every day she could see scenes of Lu Jin being abused.
But every ti after he was beaten, Lu Jin would talk to her as if he was certain she was there.
Lu Youwei was busy all day consolidating power and winning Fang Ya’s affection, completely neglecting this child, thereby enhancing Fang Lian’s relentlessness.
The injuries on Lu Jin’s body grew worse day by day.
Over ti, Su Mo actually began to feel a bit sorry for the small boy, although she had to slap herself to co to her senses; this was the demon who almost killed her when he grew up.
Fang Ya had integrated very well into this newly ford family, and Su Mo often saw her secretly calling Jiang Yulian.
She also wanted to hear Lu Chen’s voice to comfort herself, but on that end, only Jiang Yulian’s monologues ever ca through.
He was unwilling to see his mother.
“Fang Ya, why don’t you co back and see the child?”
On the other end, it was Jiang Yulian’s advice.
Fang Ya sniffed, looking at the already yellowing leaves outside the window, “It’s not the ti yet, Youwei has not yet stabilized his power, it’s unsafe for to co out now.”
“Ah, you’ll regret it.”
“I can’t help it, Yulian, Lu Cang is gone, why did the country specifically send him, knowing he was about to beco the commander?” Fang Ya painfully crouched on the ground.
“Ah, you’re really blinded by the situation, I’ll take good care of Lu Chen, hanging up.”
The phone was then cut off.
Su Mo’s heart ached, and for several days, she drifted around in Lu Youwei’s study.
“Lu Cang’s people have finally agreed to submit!” a soldier excitedly reported standing in front of the desk.
“Good, good, good!” Lu Youwei said three tis in a row, he took a black and white photo from the drawer, the face in the photo made Su Mo bite her lip hard; it was a face as gallant as Lu Chen’s, smiling so purely, so brightly.
“Are all the handles cleaned up?”
“Yes,”
After the soldier left, only then did Su Mo hear Lu Youwei’s soliloquy.
“Brother, you’ve always been one step ahead of , never expected this day, huh?”
Vicious, icy words.
She felt a chill run down her spine.
All this was indeed a trap, she was starting to get confused, she didn’t understand what the point of seeing these things in the illusion was.
When floating back to Lu Jin’s room, Su Mo saw him lying on the ground, his body covered in wounds, only his face still intact.
She sighed, squatted in front of him, and felt his forehead with her hand, uncertain if he was still alive.
Another wave of chill, Lu Jin suddenly opened his eyes, “You’re back.”
Su Mo was sure, this person could definitely feel her touch, her presence; she sat down beside him, deliberately bringing both her hands close to his face.
Lu Jin, holding his face, moved back, “So cold.””
His back hit the bed edge, he cried out in pain, “Coward, stay away from .”
“Oh really?” Su Mo poked Lu Jin again with a finger, though it passed right through him each ti, he could still feel the chill.
“Enough, stop ssing around,” Lu Jin got angry, he propped up his small hands on the ground and got up, unafraid of her ‘ghost’ at all.
Amused, Su Mo circled around him, watching him open a children’s desk filled with dicines, all of them for treating wounds.
Her eyes darkened, she stepped back two steps, stopping her teasing.
Seeing him struggling to apply ointnt on his chest, her compassion flooded over again, she sighed, figured since she was going to die anyway, she would be compassionate and ignore the fact that when he grew up, he broke so of her bones, after all, it was all fake here, she gently placed her hand on his back.
The searing pain he felt on contact with the cold made Lu Jin sigh in relief, his exquisite brows slightly furrowed, his voice subdued, “Mom said today, she’s expecting a son.”
Su Mo didn’t react much, estimating that at his age, it must have been just a few months after Fang Lian conceived Lu Yuan, albeit unfortunately a spoiled daughter.
Knowing full well she couldn’t respond, Lu Jin didn’t mind, he finished applying the dicine and let his clothes fall, his deep black eyes darkened further, “Beating soone, isn’t that a way to stop being unhappy?”
Su Mo was startled, then her hand turned, beginning to trace letters on his back.
The touch of chill subtly evoked a word in his heart.
