Yelena Hughes stared quietly at Anne Hughes’s pale face.

Nancy Alden’s tears fell, "So, I wronged you, didn’t I?"

She turned to the woman beside her, "Josephine, are you okay?"

Josephine’s ears were buzzing; she wondered if her eardrums had been damaged by Yelena Hughes.

"Anne?" Yelena Hughes held Anne’s shoulders, "It’s not you, don’t admit it."

She knew, but what could be done?

Anne felt a blockage in her heart, "Sis, it was ..."

"Alright," Yelena Hughes interrupted her, "Stop talking."

Nancy Alden saw her protecting her sibling like this and wouldn’t let it go easily, "Listen, she admitted it herself."

Yelena Hughes still shielded her sister, using her slender shoulders to block everyone’s gaze.

"She admitted it, but it doesn’t an she did it."

"What kind of fallacy is this?"

This was the first ti Nancy Alden had heard such a far-fetched argunt.

Jasper Yale didn’t want to make things difficult for Anne Hughes; he simply reached out, "Give the phone."

If anything was recorded, it could just be deleted.

Yelena Hughes put both hands behind her back, hugging Anne Hughes, "No way."

Jasper Yale had been kind enough to her, considering that Anne Hughes couldn’t handle being scared; he didn’t want to probe further, "Yelena Hughes, she admitted it herself, yet you’re saying it’s a hardship?"

"She wouldn’t do sothing like this."

Yelena Hughes was determined not to let Anne take out the phone.

Jasper Yale’s face gradually showed anger and impatience; he disliked being dragged out for such trivial matters repeatedly.

He looked toward Josephine, "Take Nancy inside first."

Nancy Alden quickly grabbed his hand, "Jasper, you’re not just going to let this go, are you?"

"No," Jasper’s expression turned cold, "If there’s sothing on her phone, today I’ll hang her at the theater’s entrance and make her crawl back."

Josephine hurriedly pulled over the wheelchair, "Miss, trust the young master, don’t be angry, we rarely co out to watch a movie."

Nancy Alden was pushed into the theater, Yelena Hughes stared at Jasper as if she had deep animosity with him.

"Josephine is an elder, how could you... hit whenever you want."

"But my sister is still young, a junior, why should she be hit whenever soone wants?"

She really beca like a hedgehog when it ca to family matters.

Jasper looked at people with a cold gaze, with his height and his imposing presence.

He stared at Anne hiding in the back, "Don’t you owe an explanation?"

"No need." It was Yelena Hughes who said this.

She completely disregarded Jasper’s dignity.

Jasper’s deep tranquility was evident, Anne slowly lifted her head from behind Yelena Hughes, "Don’t worry, there’s nothing in my hands that harms her."

She added, "I’ve already deleted it."

Jasper’s thin lips twitched slightly; his face, when not smiling, always carried a cold sense of mockery.

"She was lying; she didn’t take any pictures." Yelena Hughes couldn’t stand his look, she not only didn’t believe but also wanted to mock.

Jasper glared at Yelena Hughes, just about to get angry.

But then he heard Anne say tremblingly, "Brother-in-law, don’t fight anymore, this was my fault."

"..."

Brother-in-law?

Yelena Hughes quickly comforted Anne, "We’re not fighting."

She didn’t deny Anne’s call?

Jasper waited quietly for a while, but still didn’t hear Yelena Hughes deny it.

"Sis, can we go ho? I don’t want to stay here anymore."

Yelena Hughes held Anne’s hand, her gaze locked onto Jasper standing in front of her, "Why should it be us leaving?"

Every ti sothing happens, are they supposed to be chased away?

They’re not street rats.

Yelena Hughes worked hard for a day off, why should it be ruined by Nancy Alden?

"Anne, we haven’t finished the movie yet."

She said, pressing her lips stubbornly, Jasper teasingly remarked, "But I’ve already booked the whole theater, technically, you shouldn’t be here."

"We have tickets, plus, we ca here early in the morning."

Yelena Hughes pulled Anne, "Let’s go."

She led Anne back to their original theater, when she turned around, she saw Jasper following.

"Anne, wait for inside."

Anne listened and went in silently, Yelena Hughes blocked the man’s way.

"Young Master, Miss Alden isn’t in this theater."

"I want you to explain to ."

Jasper pressed Yelena Hughes’s arm, pushing down her hand, he strode inside, forcing Yelena Hughes to can to追赶.

Anne curled up in a middle seat, seeing Jasper co in, she visibly grew anxious again.

Jasper walked slowly over, only stopping at the seat in the last row.

He saw Yelena Hughes wanting to go to Anne, he called her na.

"Co here."

The man’s voice was squeezed by the surrounding dialogue, but Yelena Hughes still heard it.

She hesitated, then walked over slowly.

Yelena Hughes sat down next to Jasper, he leaned towards her, resting his elbow on the sofa.

Now, she could explain.

Yelena Hughes could only say: "My sister wouldn’t do sothing like this."

"What?"

Jasper truly couldn’t hear clearly; Yelena Hughes leaned closer, "I said, my sister..."

He suddenly turned his head, his lips brushing against Yelena Hughes’s lips, she quickly pulled back.

Jasper pressed his tongue against the corner of his mouth, "What did you just drink?"

He slled the scent of milk tea.

Yelena Hughes put her hand on the armrest, trying to keep distance, "Even though my sister admitted it, I know it has nothing to do with her."

"Then why did she admit it?"

This too puzzled Yelena Hughes, "I... don’t know."

Jasper’s deanor turned quite cold, making it hard for Yelena Hughes to tell if he believed her or not.

"Young Master, don’t you think hiding like Miss Alden does isn’t good for her?"

Jasper examined her face, "Say why?"

"She’s not going to be unable to walk forever, it’s just a matter of ti. Clearing the place every ti she goes out, isn’t it a hassle? It’d be better to openly accept herself as she is now, wouldn’t it be nice?"

Jasper extended his distinct fingers, pinching Yelena Hughes’s chin.

"Are you helping her or hurting her?"

"I just don’t want her repeatedly using this excuse to hurt ."

Yelena Hughes saw a change in Jasper’s face; she had indeed pulled the tiger’s tail, she must have been incredibly daring to speak this way about his Miss Alden.

The man leaned back, his face lit by the screen’s glow, flickering.

This matter, Anne admitted, but Yelena Hughes had a stubborn mouth.
