In the steam-filled bathroom, heavy footsteps, accompanied by the soft sound of water droplets hitting the wooden floor, slowly approached.

Wen Shu paused, feeling an aggressive gaze fall on her back.

She steadied her breathing, quickly grabbed the clothes beside her to cover her body, but as she turned around, her lower back was tightly clamped.

The person moved with no regard for gentleness, and she was caught off guard being held, her face smacking into a cold, wet, hard wall of flesh, causing her nose to sting with a sudden pain.

"Hiss..."

Wen Shu covered her nose and opened her eyes, seeing a masculine deep gray toned, firm chest, with trails of water sliding down it.

"Rah?"

She had just been ntioning Wu Xuan, and now the person had shown up, tying the knot at her waist, Wen Shu looked up with complex emotions to see Rah’s expression, swallowing inexplicably.

His lips were tightly pressed, his whole body soaked through, emanating a faint, salty sea scent.

An attractive face was filled with displeasure, beneath the high brow bones, the blue eyes seed like dark ice imrsed in the deep, dark sea, looking cold and full of hostility.

Yet the shimr flickering at the bottom of his eyes had an indescribable clumsy sadness.

"Rah, why are you..."

Being stared at like this, Wen Shu’s heart raced, she took half a step back, accelerating as she tied her robe.

But as she moved, Rah’s brow twitched slightly, he directly grabbed her hand, breath slow, asking, "Wen Shu, do you want to avoid ?"

Realizing what he ant, Wen Shu shook her head, flustered, she wanted to distance herself, "No..."

However, it seed like Rah had already confird the answer, the fierce brows and eyes flashed with pain as he pressed forward step by step.

"Did they intend to leave behind, and you agreed?"

The deep voice resonated above her, making Wen Shu’s breath halt for a mont, her back pressing to the cold, hard wall, leaving her with nowhere to retreat.

Rah’s tall shadow engulfed the light, she turned her eyes searching for a way out, a veiny, muscular arm fell down with so force, propped right by her face.

Sensing the wall vibrate slightly, Wen Shu guiltily looked up.

In truth, she was aware of Luo Fei’s plan all along; she just didn’t expect them to move so quickly...

Looking at Rah’s arm, thicker than her calf, even though he restrained himself a lot, yet his old image deeply imprinted in her mind, Wen Shu felt she couldn’t tell the truth.

"Rah, listen to , it’s not what you think..."

Her long eyelashes fluttered, but before she could finish, darkness swept over her sight.

Rah’s sharply defined handso face closed in infinitely, cold lips rudely pressed down upon hers.

He must have been chasing for a long ti, his lips had dried and chapped, carrying a rough texture like sand, stinging Wen Shu’s lips with pain and itchiness.

She knit her brows in discomfort, yet was held tighter.

Rah bit her lips, the undisguised desire and anger transmitted through the prickling pain, Wen Shu raised a hand to push at his shoulder, feeling a wave of crisis.

However, as she moved, Rah, panting, ca to a halt.

His eyes, dark as the abyss, seed like he wished to devour her whole, but he forcibly restrained himself, grasping his hands tightly, knuckles turning white.

"Wen Shu."

His distinctly jointed hand slightly lifted, wanting to cup Wen Shu’s cheeks, but faced with a wary gaze, it fell in defeat.

The face always so cold and severe flashed an almost imperceptible desolation, his eyes reddening as he stared at Wen Shu, not missing any expression, "You still don’t like , do you?"

His deep magnetic voice carried a touch of vulnerable hoarseness.

After that clumsy Rah disappeared, Wen Shu never thought, one day, she could see this deanor on Rah again.

Seeing her silent, the fierce Rah from a mont ago, his spine suddenly bent in defeat.

His head drooped, his arms tensing to the point of trembling, when he lifted his face again, his eyes misted over, his haggard face devoid of color,

"I understand," he forced a slight smile, staggering back a few steps, eyes red, "I won’t appear before you again in the future."

A faint sound of a water drop fell to the floor.

He took a deep breath, full of sorrow, turned around, his tall broad back seed engulfed in a heavy overcast, solitary, evoking a sense of compassion...

For his sudden sadness, Wen Shu had no guard against it, yet in this situation, that tight, sour ache in her heart, couldn’t deceive anyone.

Moreover, Rah seed serious.

If he left, he’d vanish from her world completely, but...

Wen Shu bit her lip, watching him place the Magnetic Stone Ball on the cabinet corner, his figure beginning to fade, a flurry of panic-alarm surged in her heart.
