"They went out to have fun."
Mo Ran nodded knowingly, "That’s true, they ca all the way here, they should explore around. But, as their hosts, isn’t it bad not to accompany them?"
"What’s bad about that? Do they look like guests to you?"
"..."
Mo Ran smiled, sitting next to Gu Yixuan, accompanying him in teasing the child.
After a while, a servant led Shack inside.
Mo Ran wisely carried the child back to her room; every ti Shack ca, she would avoid them.
Gu Yixuan had told her she didn’t need to avoid them, but she didn’t want to know too many of their secrets, preferring a simpler life.
After eating, Gu Chen fell asleep. Mo Ran lovingly placed him on the bed, found a novel, and leaned on the bed to read slowly.
Gu Yixuan pushed the door open and ca in, seeing the child was asleep, he walked very lightly.
"Ranran, I need to go out for a bit, there’s sothing I need to take care of."
She knew that if Shack ca looking for him, it must be sothing important.
"Go ahead, be careful and stay safe." She always cautioned him like this every ti.
Gu Yixuan ca over and kissed her forehead, his thin lips curved slightly, "Don’t worry, I’m not going to do anything dangerous. Shack said there are signs that Huo En is waking up, I’m going to check on him."
Mo Ran’s eyes lit up instantly, her voice carried a hint of joy, "Really? If he wakes up, that would be wonderful."
Since Huo En’s surgery, he had been in a coma.
The doctors said he might wake up, or he might be in a coma for the rest of his life.
Gu Yixuan knew what Mo Ran was happy about; if Huo En woke up, their family could leave here and live wherever they wanted.
He lightly smiled, found a shirt to change into, "I’ll check and let you know the situation. Stay ho, I’ll be back soon."
"Alright, I know." Mo Ran ca over to help him button up, the platinum buttons on the silver shirt were luxurious and looked very fitting on Gu Yixuan.
After dressing him neatly, Mo Ran nodded in satisfaction, "Go ahead, co back early."
"Okay." The two kissed briefly before parting.
Gu Yixuan hurried back before dinner, having heard that Huo En just moved a finger, but it was uncertain when he would wake up.
But it didn’t matter, as long as there was hope.
Mo Yan and the others didn’t co back to stay the night, calling to say they would spend the night at the casino.
