Aaron Cheney had intended to co over as soon as he woke up, but he was still dizzy, so he rested for a bit and ended up arriving late.
His words once again stunned everyone there. He was the one who had always called Vera Xavier ’Third Sister-in-law’.
Nathaniel Nathan glared at him. "Is this how you take care of Vera?"
Aaron Cheney looked apologetic. "I wasn’t capable enough! Punish , Nathaniel!"
Vera Xavier, however, said, "This has nothing to do with Aaron. I’m the one who brought him here. Let’s talk about this when we get ho."
To divert Nathaniel Nathan’s attention, Aaron Cheney imdiately pointed at Susan Caldwell and her group. "Nathaniel, they’ve been bullying Vera! You have to stand up for her!"
Susan Caldwell’s previously pleasant smile froze on her face. Her hand, still outstretched in mid-air, now looked like a complete joke.
Nathaniel Nathan finally turned to look at Susan Caldwell. This ti, Susan finally saw the extre, bone-chilling coldness in his eyes.
Susan Caldwell shivered involuntarily. Alistair Forrest, who had been enjoying the show with great interest, couldn’t help but laugh out loud.

After she spoke, she prepared to leave imdiately. Vera Xavier glanced at Susan Caldwell, then at Nathaniel Nathan, feeling it was a bit inappropriate for a man like him to handle this sort of thing.
’Besides, now that he’s here, I have all the confidence in the world! He did say that if I ever caused trouble, he would clean up my ss.’
So, Vera Xavier strode forward, blocked Susan Caldwell’s path, and raised her hand to slap her across the face.
Susan Caldwell hadn’t expected Vera Xavier to resort to violence and was instantly furious. ’I’ve lived my whole life without even my parents laying a hand on . What right does Vera Xavier have to hit !’
Because of the injury to his hand, Leo Wright was a few steps behind Susan Caldwell. The mont he saw her get hit, he rushed forward to help. But before he could even get near Vera Xavier, Nathaniel Nathan intercepted him. The two quickly traded blows, but with his pre-existing injury, how could he possibly be a match for Nathaniel Nathan?
Nathaniel Nathan kicked him in the chest, sending him straight to the ground.
Alistair Forrest said with a laugh, "My, my, it’s quite unseemly for grown n to interfere in a girls’ squabble. Why don’t we have a little chat about life?"
As soon as he finished speaking, his two bodyguards imdiately blocked Leo Wright’s path.
Leo Wright was already no match for Nathaniel Nathan. Now, with two bodyguards added to the mix, he didn’t stand a chance. All he could do was watch Susan Caldwell with imnse worry.
Seeing how things were stacked against her, Susan Caldwell knew she wouldn’t be gaining any advantage today. She took a deep breath and said, "Today was just a misunderstanding. Let’s let bygones be bygones. One should be more magnanimous. Being so petty is bad for your health."
Vera Xavier laughed. "Magnanimous? Susan Caldwell, have you no sha with your double standards?"
Alistair Forrest imdiately applauded. "Well said! This Susan Caldwell woman has no sha to begin with!"
Alistair Forrest had seen through Susan Caldwell’s intentions today and felt nothing but extre disdain for her.
Even if Susan Caldwell and Vera Xavier had so past grudges, in his eyes, they were nothing more than girlish squabbles, not a big deal.
But when Vera Xavier was swapping places with Aaron Cheney, Susan Caldwell’s actions were clearly ant to get Vera killed!
