"Hey, sothing’s wrong, we’re missing two people," one of the guys noticed as they headed south.

The leader replied, "I asked Jack to take the boat, did soone else go with him?"

"Still doesn’t add up, with Jack, we’re missing three!"

...

After a few seconds of silence, the leader was shocked, considering the boat situation, and said, "Let’s go back and look for them!"

anwhile.

Elliana Lyle and her group were also heading south, but they soon realized sothing was wrong.

Joy Lyle sharply sensed the danger and said, "They’re coming back!"

"Damn it, Norman Bennett, didn’t you say they had left?" Luna imdiately pulled out her gun, ready for anything.

Norman Bennett, holding Elliana, frowned and said, "The boat’s been discovered, and so are the missing people."

This was ant to be a delaying tactic, and now the ti for stalling was up, those people had found them.

"Norman Bennett, put down, I can walk myself." Elliana coughed a couple of tis, her whole body burning, she didn’t want to be a burden...

"Shh, don’t talk." The man comforted her, lightly kissing her forehead.

"Cough, cough------!" She couldn’t help but cover her mouth to cough a few tis, trying to keep the noise down; she seed... seed to be ill.

"Norman Bennett, let’s head back to the residential area," Joy suddenly suggested.

"Residential area?" Luna looked at Joy, puzzled.

"The most dangerous place is the safest place. We escaped from the residential area, they won’t search there."

After unanimous agreent, Joy checked the general direction, then led them towards the residential area.

Feeling their way, by dawn, the group arrived near a place called the "Angel’s Palace," and Luna was completely shocked by the grandeur of the building.

"Wow, such a big place, how rich are these people?"

"A lot of kidnapped people are held here," Joy said solemnly.

Then looking around the environnt, she said, "This way."

Eventually, bypassing the large "Angel’s Palace," they reached the back of a smaller palace, where Nancy was kept.

Seeing the place again, Nancy trembled to her core; she had been locked here, subjected to inhuman treatnt!

Even though there was no patrol behind, it was daylight and staying here would certainly get them spotted.

"Norman Bennett, how’s Elliana?"

As Joy’s words fell, everyone looked at Norman Bennett, realizing that Elliana in his arms was barely conscious.

Elliana’s body was already weak, and with the pregnancy, she had developed a high fever.

Perhaps because Norman Bennett had arrived, she let down all her defenses, allowing her body to relax from its tight state.

"I know where the dical room is, it’s in the rightmost room on the first floor," Nancy spoke up.

The reason she knew was that she had been there many tis.

"Cough, cough..." After a series of muffled coughs, Elliana opened her eyes in a daze. She felt dizzy and her vision was blurred, seeing a halo around the person in front of her.

"Hang in there, girl," Norman Bennett said and then asked Nancy, "How many guards are there in the building?"

Nancy shook her head, "I don’t know, probably quite a few, on the first floor... there seems to be five or six people guarding the entrance."

After listening to Nancy, Luna imdiately said, "I’ll go check it out."
