Li Yuanyuan and Chen Xiuli stepped onto the comfortable and spacious lounge car. Since they didn’t have any scenes today, they were both in their own clothes. Li Yuanyuan and Chen Xiuli sat on the sofa across from Wen Nuan.
Wen Nuan ignored Li Yuanyuan’s sarcastic words and smiled. "Sister Yuanyuan, Sister Xiuli, are you both here to rest?"
"Yeah, and we see you sitting here with a sad look on your face. What did Director Lin scold you for?" Chen Xiuli asked.
Wen Nuan didn’t want to talk to them, so she just said vaguely, "Nothing. Just so ordinary words. I’m a sensitive person. I get emotional."
Li Yuanyuan gave a cold, mocking laugh. "That’s why it’s not easy to be a film queen. You’re considered a top actress now, but you’re nervous in front of Ye Yan. When it cos down to it, you’re still too inexperienced."
Wen Nuan’s eyes were calm. She knew Li Yuanyuan was upset about losing the Golden Statue Award and had been feeling uncomfortable. She didn’t want to get into a conflict with Li Yuanyuan and didn’t plan on responding to her words. She had heard it all before and was numb to it.
Chen Xiuli saw that she had no reaction and said with a smile, "You’ve got a lot of attitude. Who are you putting on a show for?"
Wen Nuan looked down and gave a small laugh. "This is strange. I’m sitting here quietly, letting you scold , and you say I have a lot of attitude. So, what kind of reaction do you want to see? Should I stand up and get into a big fight with you? Maybe that would show that I don’t have an attitude. Or you can just tell what kind of reaction you want to see."
Li Yuanyuan and Chen Xiuli were experienced people and didn’t get angry. Li Yuanyuan said with a smile, "That’s interesting. Wen Nuan, you’ve been in the entertainnt industry for almost a year, haven’t you? In this past year, do you know how many people are jealous and envious of you? We all worked hard to get to where we are today. But you got here with almost no effort. Everyone says that you and Ye Feimo are a couple. Is it true?"
"That’s my private business. I don’t have to tell you," Wen Nuan said calmly. "Do you two not have any work today? Are you staying on set all day?"

Wen Nuan smiled and looked out the window. Chen Xiuli said, "To be honest, Anning is spending so much money on you. It’s a waste of money. Look at the main cast. Which one of us isn’t more qualified than you? Let’s just talk about Han Bi, who was originally competing for the role of Liang Hongyu. She’s much more suitable than you. It’s ridiculous that Anning is having us play supporting roles just to make you a star."
Chen Xiuli was indignant about this. Wen Nuan looked at them. "Then why did you agree?"
"Your connections are strong, so what could we do? It would only take a word from Mr. Ye for us to have to sleep with soone. So what’s a supporting role in a movie? We’re not as lucky as you. She trailed off, laughing ambiguously at the end.
Wen Nuan was slightly annoyed and took a deep breath. She wouldn’t swear. That would be irrational. If soone recorded her and leaked it, she would be the one who would be embarrassed. These people would use any ans to bring others down. Li Yuanyuan had once used a recording to fra a female celebrity, using her to climb to the top. So even if Wen Nuan lost her composure, she couldn’t say anything reckless.
"Sister Yuanyuan..." Wen Nuan said with a smile. "There’s nothing going on between us. Don’t wrongly accuse people."
"Nothing going on?" Chen Xiuli looked Wen Nuan up and down. "No one would believe you and Mr. Ye are innocent. Which actress under Anning is innocent when it cos to Mr. Ye?"
Wen Nuan’s face was calm. She knew that Ye Feimo had had brief relationships with many of the artists under Anning. "Is that so? Why are you telling this? I just ca to Anning. I don’t know anything."
Li Yuanyuan and Chen Xiuli were a little surprised. They originally thought that Wen Nuan was just a young girl who would be easily misled and would get angry, and she might even curse and beco enraged. They were like that when they first started out. At first, when they made those deals, everyone was afraid of being found out. Once they were exposed, they would imdiately turn on everyone and lose all grace. But Wen Nuan was calm and was smiling the whole ti. No matter how much they provoked her, she didn’t get angry.
This girl had a lot of composure.
It was rare to see a new person with such composure in this flashy industry.
Li Yuanyuan casually unscrewed a bottle of juice and said with a light laugh, "You really are interesting."
"Thanks for the complint," Wen Nuan said with a faint smile, but her eyes were devoid of any joy. She was already in a bad mood and didn’t want to deal with them. She just wanted them to leave so she could have so peace and quiet.
Li Yuanyuan said, "Wen Nuan, do you know how dangerous your situation is?"

Chen Xiuli gave a cold snort. "Ah, without Mr. Ye, you’re nothing."
Wen Nuan bit her lip. She had always thought that she worked hard, that it was three parts luck and seven parts effort. She wouldn’t deny that Feimo had given her a lot of opportunities, which was why she beca a star so quickly.
But now, everyone was saying that without Ye Feimo, she was nothing.
Lin Ning said it, and so did Li Yuanyuan and Chen Xiuli.
And her performance on set was so bad today. Was she really useless? Could she really not make it on her own without Ye Feimo?
For the first ti, Wen Nuan was questioning herself.
Her confidence had taken a hit like never before.

Wen Nuan smiled. "Why are you so obsessed with my relationship with Mr. Ye? You guys and Mr. Ye are in the past. You’ve gotten what you wanted. Why are you still holding on to this?"
"You know what you’re doing," Li Yuanyuan scoffed. "We just can’t stand people who act like they deserve all the credit when they’ve forgotten how they got famous in the first place. It’s disgusting. Just look at your performance today. Even a new actress on her first day would have done a better job than you. It’s embarrassing."
