They held each other tightly for a long ti. Ye Feimo then gently loosened his embrace. The light illuminated his face with a look of joy, subtle yet deep. The usual coldness in his eyes had faded, and a hint of tenderness blood at the corners of his brows.

He held her waist, leaned in, and kissed her lips.

Wen Nuan didn’t resist, opening her lips to et his. The faint scent of wine from his mouth enveloped her lips and tongue. His scent filled her nostrils, his essence entwining around her, like silkworms trapping her heart.

She knew then that she was truly completely captivated by Ye Feimo; there was no way they could ever forget each other.

After a long while, he released her lips. His long fingers gently traced her swollen lips, and then he suddenly presented the bouquet of flowers to her. "Your favorite champagne roses."

She held the flowers, lowering her head to sll their fragrance. Ye Feimo watched with a smile. The roses were vibrant, and she was peerless. In his eyes, she was truly more beautiful than any flower, endlessly charming. The saying, "Beauty is in the eye of the beholder," was absolutely true. No matter how he looked at her, she was the most beautiful woman.

Suddenly, he embraced her, resting his chin in her hair, and softly said, "From now on, let’s not argue, okay?"

"With your awful temper, how could we not argue?" Wen Nuan grumbled, but her heart was so sweet it could drip honey. Ye Feimo smiled, indulging her, feeling a subtle happiness in his heart.

A little quarrel adds charm; let her have her way.

But no matter how much they argued in the future, the words "break up" must never be spoken.

"Who taught you this trick?" Wen Nuan asked with a smile. On the first day of the New Year, waiting devotedly outside his girlfriend’s window with her favorite flowers, and then talking endlessly with her—it sounded incredibly lodramatic.

It definitely wasn’t sothing Ye Feimo would do. Soone must have given him advice.

"It’s just chasing a woman; I don’t need anyone else’s advice," Ye Feimo said with a hint of irritation on his face, speaking with great disdain. Wen Nuan thought to herself, this man is truly a classic example of soone who says one thing but ans another.

But for the sake of this bouquet of roses, she wouldn’t argue with him.

Ye Feimo opened the car door and then brought out another large bouquet of red roses. The dazzling, fiery red contrasted sharply with the champagne roses. Ye Feimo shoved the red roses into her arms.

Wen Nuan blinked. What kind of act was this?

"Are these for soone else? Are you just giving them to casually?"

Ye Feimo was unusually honest tonight. He said sowhat awkwardly, "Originally, I bought red roses, but then I found out you liked champagne roses, so I went back and bought another bouquet. They’re all for you."

Wen Nuan lowered her head and smiled. So, when he asked her earlier, he had already bought the flowers. Hearing that she liked champagne roses, he turned back to buy the champagne ones. This silly man had done another silly thing.

But this feeling was truly wonderful.

Actually, even if he hadn’t asked what she liked and had just sent red roses, she would have been very happy.

Now, knowing that he originally bought red roses and then also got her favorite champagne roses, she was even happier. Ye Feimo had never given her flowers before; this was the first ti. Wen Nuan couldn’t describe how wonderful this feeling was.

"Feeling smug?" Ye Feimo coldly snorted.

Wen Nuan smiled, "Just a little bit."

A little smugness was definitely justified. To make Ye Feimo do sothing like this was worth being proud of. She could brag about it for a year.

Ye Feimo gave another cold snort. Wen Nuan looked down at the two bouquets of flowers, suddenly feeling that red roses and champagne roses matched so perfectly, it was incredibly beautiful.

"Co back with ." Ye Feimo held her, kissed her lips, and his warm, moist lips moved to her earlobe. He whispered, "Don’t you miss ? I’ve missed you to death."

"You’re impossible," Wen Nuan playfully punched his abdon, both laughing and exasperated. She turned to look at the house. "Today is New Year’s; I want to spend it at ho. I’ll go back first thing tomorrow morning."

"It’s only three hours until first thing tomorrow morning. I’ll wait for you to go back together," Ye Feimo said. Wen Nuan playfully cursed at him. How could he be like this? Of course, she wouldn’t go along with his nonsense. Knowing he had eaten, she felt relieved and urged him to go back.

"No, I want to stay with you a little longer," Ye Feimo said. Wen Nuan pulled him along the path. There were eight villas in this area, and there was a children’s playground not far from Wen Nuan’s house.

They sat on either side of two swings. Wen Nuan gently swung, smiling as she told Ye Feimo, "I used to love coming here when I was little. Wen Jing liked it too, even though it’s not a big place."

"Hmph, don’t talk to about any place where Fang Liucheng was," Young Master Ye Second said, his jealousy soaring. Wen Nuan faltered. She had to admit, Ye Feimo was right; Fang Liucheng had indeed been there, and both she and Fang Liucheng had sat on this swing.

"Don’t be so exaggerated," Wen Nuan said with a chuckle. She suddenly turned and looked at Ye Feimo intently. Ye Feimo felt he was morally upright; where had he offended her?

Wen Nuan placed the two bouquets of flowers aside, got up, and sat on his lap, wrapping her arms around his neck, smiling sweetly. With his family actively embracing him, he naturally had no reason to push her away.

However, Ye Feimo looked up at the top of the swing. Could this swing hold up?

Ye Feimo chuckled as he put his arm around her waist. "Miss Wen, combined, we round up to about two hundred and fifty pounds. The swing might cry; it might even break soon."

Wen Nuan rubbed against his chest, pinching his ear. "Tell , was what Han Bi said that day true? If you lied to about any of it, I’ll disown you."

"Why are you so fierce?" As soon as Ye Feimo said this, Wen Nuan forcefully pulled his ear outwards, making him quickly beg for rcy. This girl didn’t know her own strength; she was truly rciless.

"Alright, alright, you’re going to twist my ear off. You really are..." Ye Feimo hurriedly pulled her hand away, never having seen such a rough woman. He was scared of her. "You asked..."

"How did that watch end up at her house?" Wen Nuan asked, clutching his lapel and looking nacing. "Don’t lie, otherwise if that woman challenges again, I’ll just have to endure it, and she might even say how impressive you are in bed."

A faint smile escaped Ye Feimo’s lips. "How impressive I am in bed, you know better than anyone, right?"

With that, he intimately kissed her. Wen Nuan slapped his face. "Be serious."

Ye Feimo chuckled. "I didn’t lie. Tea was indeed spilled on the watch, which is why I took it off for her to clean and dry. I forgot to take it when I left."

"Hmph, you must have been so infatuated, so satisfied, that you even forgot to take your most precious watch," Wen Nuan said tartly, holding her breath and not speaking. Ye Feimo held her, smiling in silence.

"Then you... when you were in F City... never mind, let’s consider that a past matter; I won’t hold it against you." Wen Nuan had originally wanted to ask about what happened between them in F City, but then she reconsidered. At that ti, she and Ye Feimo hadn’t yet defined their relationship, so even if he had had sothing with Han Bi, she shouldn’t be too concerned.
