"Sister-in-law, working for others outside is nothing like working hard for our own family. Wen’s is so big, and if Zhanpeng, Xiuli, and ili co back, it would lighten Big Brother’s burden. It’s better to trust us than outsiders, don’t you agree, Sister-in-law?" Wen Nuan’s third uncle said with a fawning smile.

Wen Nuan chuckled aloud. The sheer audacity of their words was truly amusing.

Wen Nuan’s mother frowned. "Wen’s has my husband, and that’s enough. We don’t need you. I’ve said it before, I don’t agree. Even if my husband agreed, I wouldn’t. Please leave."

They had jobs and still weren’t satisfied, wanting to co back and seize what belonged to her family. Dream on!

"Aunt, please don’t be so heartless," Wen ili said.

Wen Nuan’s mother scoffed, remaining silent.

"Big Brother, Wen’s is so large, soone has to inherit your position. Look, Zhanpeng’s work ability is quite good; you’ve even praised him. Wen Nuan isn’t interested in business and went into entertainnt, and Wen Jing is still young. Just let Zhanpeng help you properly," Wen Nuan’s third uncle urged.

Wen Nuan’s father frowned, looking at his brother with disappointnt.

So, it was all for Wen’s. They actually wanted the entire company. Though he knew their true intentions, hearing it expressed so openly truly hurt his feelings.

Wen Nuan’s mother trembled with anger. "Wen’s is the fruit of my husband’s and my hard work. It’s ant for Wen Nuan and Wen Jing in the future. No one else will get a single cent. Even if Wen Nuan and Wen Jing knew nothing and ruined the entire company, or gave it away, that would be their business and none of yours. Don’t even think about taking our hard work from my daughters."

"Sister-in-law, no, no... that’s not what we ant," Wen Nuan’s third uncle stamred, wiping sweat from his brow.

Wen Zhanpeng couldn’t hold back any longer and shouted, "Aunt, how can you be so selfish? Wen Nuan and Wen Jing are girls. When they get married, the company will just be given away to soone else! We are the true Wen family!"

As the only male descendant of the Wen family, he had always been certain that the company would eventually belong to him.

This was sothing everyone understood without needing to say it.

But unexpectedly, Wen Nuan’s father had fallen on hard tis once, and everything had changed.

Wen Nuan’s mother stood up, her aura, cultivated since childhood, sowhat intimidating Wen Zhanpeng. She said, "Please understand, to , you are the outsiders. My daughters, son-in-law, and grandchildren are my true family, understand?"

"Aunt!"

"Sister-in-law!"

...

"You’re making too much noise! Are you going to leave or not? It’s the weekend; can’t a person even go out?" Wen Jing slamd a cup to the floor, where it shattered with a loud crash, startling them all.

Wen Nuan chuckled. *Little Miss Wen, you are truly amazing.*

"Big Brother, we’ve been brothers for decades. I don’t believe you’re truly so heartless."

"Just go. You all have jobs now and are living comfortably. That’s enough. Don’t make my wife and daughters unhappy here. Everyone, leave!" Wen Nuan’s father waved his hand. He had originally planned a pleasant family dinner after Wen Nuan woke up this weekend, but this unexpected drama had ruined his good mood.

"Big Brother!" Wen Nuan’s second and third uncles shouted.

Just as Wen Jing was about to usher them out, the doorbell rang. Wen Jing opened it, and to their surprise, it was Fang Liucheng.

Upon seeing Fang Liucheng, everyone’s eyes turned red with anger. Wen Nuan’s second and third uncles rushed towards him, wanting to confront him. It was all his fault; otherwise, they would still be doing well at Wen’s, and no one would have left.

"It’s quite lively today, so many people?" Fang Liucheng said with a smile as he walked over. Wen Nuan’s father shook his head, sighing helplessly.

Fang Liucheng said faintly, "Oh, by the way, after I took over Wen’s, I discovered many financial irregularities. Soone embezzled tens of millions of yuan. If that were prosecuted, Second Uncle, Third Uncle, how many years do you think you’d spend in jail?"

Wen Nuan’s father frowned. Wen Nuan’s second and third uncles beca anxious. The second uncle blurted out, "What embezzlent? This is Wen’s money; what’s wrong with investing it?"

Wen Nuan’s father angrily slamd his hand on the table and slapped the second uncle. "You never learn! Get out!"

He would no longer tolerate so many parasites in the company.

The second uncle was startled. Seeing that their secret was out, everyone could only leave shafully.

The Wen household imdiately returned to quiet. Wen Jing swept up the shattered pieces on the floor. Wen Nuan asked Fang Liucheng, "Brother Liucheng, what brings you here?"

"Uncle said he wanted to have dinner, so he asked to co along and be your driver," Fang Liucheng replied. "That’s perfectly fine; I couldn’t be happier."

Wen Nuan lowered her head, silent.

Going out for dinner together was a common occurrence for them. In the past, the family would happily go out to eat, and Wen Nuan was always the most excited and joyful. But now, her feelings were complicated.

"Where do you want to go for dinner?" Fang Liucheng asked, sitting next to Wen Nuan.

Wen Nuan smiled faintly. "Dad likes Thai food. Let’s have Thai food today."

Wen Jing nodded, clapping her hands. "Yes, Thai food! I like it too. Dad, I’m on your side!"

Wen Nuan’s father laughed heartily, pinching her pretty nose. The two sisters went upstairs to get ready.

Wen Nuan put on light makeup and casually chose a light blue dress. She tied her hair into a ponytail, looking cute and playful. Wen Nuan’s mother pushed open the door and ca in. "Nuan Nuan is getting more and more beautiful."

It was a beauty that radiated from within, truly striking.

She affectionately hugged her mother’s arm, smiling and playfully saying, "That’s because Mom’s genes are so good, that’s why my sister and I are so cute and pretty!"

"Such a sweet talker."

Wen Nuan chuckled and put on a necklace. Many of her clothes and jewelry were at the Famous City apartnt. These particular pieces were bought earlier and weren’t Anning brands. When she had ti, she’d go move her things back.

She’d live at ho from now on, not at the Famous City apartnt.

If Ye Feimo wasn’t happy about it, they could discuss it later.

Now that he and Han Bi had reconciled, perhaps her presence on the 44th floor would even inconvenience them.

Moving back sooner rather than later seed like a good idea.

"Nuan Nuan, are you still not forgiving Liucheng?"

"No, I’ve pretty much forgotten about it," Wen Nuan said with a faint smile. "Mom, you and Dad have forgiven him too, so what do I have to not forgive? We’ll still be family. You raised him like a son from childhood; we are family."

"Mom didn’t an that. Why do I feel like you two aren’t like you used to be?" Wen Nuan’s mother was discerning. In the past, Fang Liucheng liked Wen Nuan, and Wen Nuan liked Fang Liucheng. Even though Fang Liucheng tried hard to suppress it, their parents knew by the way he looked at Wen Nuan and how they interacted that they were ant to be, a perfect match destined to be together.

But now, that feeling was gone.
