When gan looked at , I realized she was also blushing, and we stared at each other for a long ti, and we almost forgot we were still in the dining hall until I heard my grandfather cleared his throat, and that is the ti I focus my attention back into my food.
"Ashton, you got it bad, son." My grandfather said, and he was staring at my face, and I don't want gan to know that I am losing myself to her, but it seems my grandfather will tell her anyway.
"Yes, I am," I admit readily, and I know my face was bright red, and I am just glad gan was looking at her plate. The food was superb, and we had a good ti with my grandparents; I couldn't help feel so excited after we said goodbye to my grandpa and grandma before we went to the lake. I asked gan to bring her guitar before we left the house.
"Why do we need to ride your pick-up? Are we leaving?" She asked, confused, and I shook my head, bringing her closer to the back of the pick-up.
"No, not yet, gan. I still want to take you to my favorite place, and of course, we will go swimming at the lake. We can walk, but it is better to bring the car because I can't carry those things." I said as I pointed to the food basket, foldable table, and chairs at the back of my pick-up truck. I smiled as I realized I could rely on my grandpa. I only texted him this morning that I wanted to take gan to the lake and have a picnic with her, and I could tell my grandfather Henry had prepared everything. The excitent I saw on gan's face as she looked at the picnic basket made feel so happy and thrilled at the sa ti.
I took her hand and opened the car door for her, and I helped her settle on her seat, and I drove away from my grandparents' manor with a happy face. I miss the entire estate and all the things I used to enjoy during my visits, and if I am not only busy with my studies and football practice, I would love to spend my weekends here.
"Wow! This place is beautiful, Ashton!" gan exclaid as we near my favorite spot.
"Yes, gan, that is why I brought you here because I want you to relax. The view of the lake at this hour is so lovely, but it will beco lovelier when the sunset cos, and I want you to see it, g. I will take gan to the treehouse later so that we can have a nap. My grandfather built that for when I was a kid, but as I grew taller, my grandpa kept renovating the entire treehouse until I beca an adult. During my visits, I will sleep in the treehouse from ti to ti, and that is my favorite place in the entire estate since it is near the lake.. The view at night is fantastic, and how I wish we had more ti so gan could see the fireflies at night, but this will not be the last ti she will co here because I will make sure gan will co back here with from ti to ti, and I am excited to show her around, and I wish this day will never end.
