Ashton's POV
"Ashton, that is not a good idea as of this ti; gan is still angry with you, the more you will force to talk with her, the more she will avoid you, let Zach pick her up, I want to do it, but I need to pick up Sherry," Lennon said after I told him I am going to pick up gan.
"Besides, Dexter could be there, and I think you already reach your quota for the week." He added.
"What quota?" I asked, confused, and my brother laughed at .
"Punches requirent for the week, Zach already beat you at Lauren's party, and Dexter gave you another blow on the following night, and I think you should allow your swollen eyes to recover first before you face gan's brother again. Don't get into trouble, Ashton." He added before he gets inside his car, and I saw our youngest brother running, and I shook my head before I fished out my phone from my pocket, and I called my best friend.
"Are you bringing your car today?" I asked him right away the mont he answered my call.
"Yes, and I am on my way to pick up gan and her sister, and you don't need to ask to do it since I know you will be begging ." He answered, and I am impressed by my best friend's initiative, but I felt a little jealous.
"Wow! You are the best, Zach, but I hope you will never take this opportunity to ask gan out." I said as I let out a soft sigh.
"What do you think of , Ashton? You are my best friend, do you think I will ruin our friendship because of one girl? I know gan would be worth all the trouble, but I know she only has eyes for you, so even if I will beg her to have , I am sure she will never date ." He answered, and I smiled.
"Thank you, Zach, and I am sorry for doubting you," I replied.
"It is okay. I know this is the first ti you have beco crazy with a girl, and I am enjoying the show." He declared, and I shook my head.
"Yeah, I can't deny I am having a hard ti now, I never chase a girl before, but this ti I am willing to do anything I can just to have her back," I replied.
"Good luck with that, bro." He responded, and I ended the call after I said goodbye to him, and I drove my car to the Academy.
I felt so restless as I waited for Zach to co because I can't wait to see gan. I was leaning on my car as I waited for Zach to enter the parking lot when Lauren ca to .
"Ashton, I am sorry. I don't intend to embarrass gan." She said.
"Do you think I will believe you, Lauren? Don't apologize to , and you should say sorry to her. Can you explain to why do you need to tell her that kind of information in front of your friends?" I asked as I looked at her in the eyes, and I am shocked that she got so angry with .
"I will never apologize to her, Ashton. It was because of you why I did it, and you know that we belong together, and I hate that you were avoiding lately." She said in an angry tone.
"Look, Lauren, we don't belong together, and I am not avoiding you because we are friends, but ever since you started asking to get back together with you, I don't have a choice but to stay away from you. We better off us friends Lau, and I hope you will respect my decision." I said.
"How can I respect your decision? When you broke up with , you told we need to break up because you don't like commitnt, and now you are dating gan, and you are throwing yourself to her." She is now yelling at , and I tried to calm her
"I am sorry, Lauren. It was true I don't like commitnt, but the mont I fell for gan, I suddenly realized I want to commit with her." I said, her face turned so red.
"I hate you now, Ashton," Lauren said before she turned around from , and I can tell I pissed her off, but I don't have a choice but to tell her the truth because I don't want to play with her feelings.
As I waited for Zach and gan, I can't stop feeling so worried because it is getting late and they are not still around, and we still have practice, and I am just glad my teammates are patiently waiting for . And the mont Zachary parked his car, I am tempted to run to gan's side and open her door, but I don't want to ruin her Monday.
I was only waiting for her to climb out of the car because I wanted to see her beautiful face and how I wish I could kiss gan again. I know gan is afraid to co down because she doesn't want to talk to , and it hurts because almost all the girls on campus wanted to have ti alone with , and gan is trying her best to stay away from , and she rejected all my calls.
I am so frustrated, but I know I hurt gan, and how I wish she will give another chance to prove to her I wasn't playing with her heart. The mont she got out of Zach's car, she took my breath away. She was wearing a mini skirt and crop top that made felt so jealous when I found my teammates looking at her legs.
"gan, wait!" I shouted at her, but Zachary blocked my way.
"Not now, Ashton," Zach said, and I felt so defeated as I watched gan walked away from the parking lot without taking a second glance, and I felt so glad she was with her close friends, or else I will get worried about her.
"Why did you stop , Zach?" I asked my best friend as we walked towards the football field.
"gan asked to stop you from getting close to her today, and she begged , Ashton, so I think it is best to give her ti to heal," Zachary responded.
"To heal? Until she will lose her feelings towards ? Not a chance, Zach. I will not stop chasing her because once I quit, I am sure everything will change. And I don't want gan to forget , Zach." I said, and he shook his head.
"You need to listen to if you want to win her back, Ashton." He responded.
"No, I won't listen to your advice, Zach. I am sorry." I said as I ran into the fields and tried to stop thinking about gan as I concentrate on playing my gas.
I beca more restless when I get inside our first period. gan is still not on her chair. I ask our classmate seated beside gan to exchanged seats with , and I can tell gan is avoiding because this is the first ti she is almost late. And I smiled when I found her following behind our teacher, and her eyes widened the mont she saw seated beside her chair.
She avoided my eyes as she sat down, and I can sll her sweet fragrance right away. And she was trying her best not to look at , and they said it is bad to stare, but I couldn't stop myself from gazing at her beautiful face, and I could no longer hear our teacher as he discussed our lesson since I am too busy thinking of a way to convince gan to talk with . And when I couldn't take it anymore, I whispered in her ear, and I smiled when I saw her skin having goosebumps, and I begged her to talk with .
I felt frustrated that she didn't even speak to , but I couldn't stop myself from smiling when I
saw her get a piece of paper, and she scribbled sothing on it, and then she folded the piece of paper, and I felt excited, hoping she would give the note to , and I wanted to scream when gan handed the paper.
I was smiling like an idiot when I read her note. It was telling she will talk to on Wednesday night after her work on her new part-ti job in a pet shop near her ho. I felt glad she found another part-ti job, Zachary told about the incident at the cafe where she worked, and I felt so guilty that because of , she got fired, and I can tell those girls were Lauren's friends.
I let gan go out of our classroom ahead of because I realized Zach was right, she is not yet ready to talk with , but I felt better now after she gave the piece of paper.
"So, what is the update? It looks like you are happy now, and I could tell sothing good happened because your aura suddenly changed." Zach noticed as we walked to our next subject of the morning.
"Yeah, gan already agreed to talk with , and I can't stop myself from feeling so excited about it, and I need to get ready because I don't want her to break up with , Zach. I need to convince gan that I am serious about her." I said.
"Do you need my help?" He asked .
"Of course, please help talk with her to give another chance.." I asked my best friend, and I know I sound so desperate, but I don't care as long as I can be with gan again.
