Ashton's POV

I wanted to tell gan about the topic of our eting the last ti I went ho to my parents' house in Astikoz. But I didn't want her to decide for . I expected her to stay away from when she learned my father threatened to fire from my position as the CEO of our company if ever one of my siblings provided him an heir as long as he approved the mother or father of the child. I know it was such a ridiculous condition.

But I know my father; his words will always be final, and he doesn't want to be questioned about his unfair decisions; he will always have the final say. And father's voice should be followed inside our household even if we are all now adults, and it was because he still owned the majority of stocks of our company, and all our properties are still under his na.

I don't need my father's money, and I know I can provide for gan and Axel, but my siblings are begging to work and be the CEO of our company because, at first, that is what my dad wants. And when he got sick, I didn't have a choice but to follow his request, and now that he is back to his old self, vital and alive, he wanted to manipulate our lives once again.

And when he learned about gan and , he suddenly changed his last will, and I felt so confused on what to do, knowing my father would never stop until I left gan once more, but it would never happen again. I will do everything I can to make gan stay with , and I know I need to be alert at all tis.

And another thing that bothers is the dia, and then Claire, and her threat made so anxious about what she could do, and I am aware my dad was the one who gave her the encouragent to ruin my beautiful relationship with gan.

I am just glad I have my mother and my siblings who promised to help , but still, I couldn't stop myself from feeling so worried because I couldn't imagine living my life without gan and Axel on it. After all, they give aning to my existence.

"Hey, are you okay?" I heard gan's sweet voice bringing back to the present, and I smiled at her.

"Of course, I am fine, g," I responded as I caressed her hand; we were waiting for our son to co out from his classroom, we both got out of the office early to pick up our son since we promised to bring him to the park after his class.

Axel was running to us, and he hugged us both, and then he was brightly smiling at us that I couldn't stop myself from grinning at him, and then we walked towards the car while he was holding our hands.

Axel and I enjoyed playing at the park ground while gan smiled at us and took pictures. Then he asked if he could join with other kids on the monkey bar, and I said yes, and I walked towards gan and sat beside her on the bench. And I took her hand right away.

It was a satisfying feeling watching our son play with other kids while we were watching him the entire ti, and collecting happy mories with gan and Axel would be my new goal in my life. When he got so tired, he ca walking to us, and gan handed him water, and he drank from his water bottle right away while gan was wiping his sweat on his back and arms.

"Are you tired already?" I asked, and he gave a cute smile as he nodded his head.

"It is okay, buddy; I think it is now ti to buy you cotton candy," I said, and his face lit up, and I excused myself from them, and the mont I got back with the biggest cotton ball on my hands I could see him smiling from ear to ear.

"Thank you, daddy!" Axel exclaid as I handed him the cotton candy, and I laughed when gan was eating the cotton candy with our son. I couldn't stop myself from asking my Axel if I could also take a bite, and he offered the cotton candy ball right away, and I couldn't stop from feeling so happy as I took a bite, and it was a beautiful day to be with gan and our son.

By the ti we decided to go ho, Axel was already sleeping on my shoulder, and I carried him to the car; I slowly put his sleeping figure at the back of the vehicle, and gan settled herself in the back seat so Axel's head would be on her lap.

"Thank you for spending ti with us, Ashton," I heard gan say as I drove away from the park.

"Of course, I always wanted to be with you and Axel, g," I responded as I darted a glance at her, and I felt glad it was still red light.

The mont we arrived at her house, I could see gan's parents are waiting for us at the front porch, and I smiled when our boy got up, and after I helped him climb out of the car, he ran towards his grandparents while shouting grandpa and grandma, and we walked towards the main entrance holding hands.

gan felt so happy during dinner when she realized her mother cooked her favorite food, and we ate our dinner happily; I felt so proud as I listened to our son narrate his activities at his school.

The days passed in a blur, and I felt so glad I tightened gan's security, and no reporter bothered her for the rest of the week. I stayed at gan's place the entire week, and I only ca ho to my place to get so clean clothes.

"Where are we going, dad?" Axel asked the mont we got out of the house, and I held his hand while my other hand was carrying our luggage while gan was following behind us.

"It is a secret, son, but I am sure you will love the place; we will go fishing too," I said, and I could see the excitent on his face.

"Wow! I love fishing, dad," he responded.

"Okay, show dad you are good at fishing, okay?" I asked, and he nodded his head. Axel was talking the mont we left the house, but after two hours on the road, he fell asleep.

"Can you tell where you are going to take us?" She asked, and I smiled while I squeezed her hand.

"Don't ruin the surprise, gan; you need to be patient, and I am sure you will love the place too," I said, and she pouted her lips.

"I don't have patience, Ashton," She responded, and I laughed.

"Relax, g, I want you to enjoy your weekend with Axel and , and I promised you this weekend would be one of the best weekends in your life," I said. gan gave grinned at , and I continued to drive the long and winding road, and then I smiled when she also fell asleep on her seat, and she slightly opened mouth is so tempting.

"g, we are here," I said as I tried to wake gan up by tapping her shoulder. And she slowly opened her eyes, and then she strengthened up, and her eyes turned as big as a saucer when she realized where we were.

"Oh, Ashton!" She exclaid, and her face lit up when she saw my grandparents, together with my siblings, get out from the house's main entrance.

"You surprised , and thank you for bringing us here, and you don't realize how happy you made today, Ashton," gan added, and I was about to kiss her when I heard our sons' voice at the back of the car.

"Where are we, dad?" He asked as he looked around, and I gave gan a quick peck on the lips before I answered our son.

"We are at your great-grandparents' house," I said, and then I climbed out of the car because I didn't want my grandparents and siblings to think that sothing was going on why we couldn't get out of the vehicle imdiately.

Isabelle was running towards us, and I could see the tears that welled up in her eyes while my brothers were smiling at gan and Ashton while my grandpa and grandma were waiting for us on the front porch.

"Axel, I want you to et your aunt Isabelle, and this is your uncle Lennon, and uncle Cole, guys, this is our son, Axel," I said, and they all said hi to Axel and Isabelle took him into her arms. And my brothers greeted gan, and we all walked towards my grandparents while Isabelle was holding Axel's hand; I noticed our little boy turned silent, and I could tell he felt shy.

"Welco back, gan, it feels so nice to have you here once again," My grandpa said, and he took gan into his arms, and then my grandma did the sa, and then my grandparents turned their attention to my little boy, and I could see the happiness on their faces.

Grandpa ushered us to get inside, and Lennon helped with the luggage; I could feel the grumbling of my stomach, and I realized it was lunchti already, and I couldn't wait to bring gan to our favorite place treehouse near the lake.. I am sure this is going to be a weekend full of laughter and happiness.
