Shen Yi called softly, "Wanwan, are you awake?"

"Hmm?" Ye Wanwan responded vaguely, her eyebrows knitting together as she unconsciously lifted her hand to rub her eyes.

"It’s not early anymore, let’s get up." Shen Yi said gently.

At this mont, the person he was holding in his arms did not speak, just frowned and rubbed her eyes with the back of her hand for a while.

Seeing this, Shen Yi thought she still didn’t want to get up, so he urged again, "Wanwan, get up."

Shen Yi’s voice elongated, sounding very tender. Seeing Ye Wanwan still rubbing her eyes, he reached out and smoothed her slightly ssy long hair.

However, Ye Wanwan still didn’t move for a long ti, and just as Shen Yi was about to say sothing, he heard Ye Wanwan’s muffled voice with a bit of grievance saying, "I have a headache."

Upon hearing this, Shen Yi furrowed his brows and hurriedly asked, "Why do you have a headache?"

Ye Wanwan, feeling uncomfortable, hugged Shen Yi and humd but didn’t speak.

"Wanwan!" Shen Yi’s voice grew slightly serious, he held her tighter and asked again, "Where else are you feeling uncomfortable?"

"Headache." Ye Wanwan said, leaning further into Shen Yi’s embrace.

Shen Yi quickly reached out to check her temperature, but couldn’t feel anything out of the ordinary; her temperature seed normal.

"Besides the headache, is there any other discomfort?" Shen Yi asked.

Ye Wanwan felt miserable and didn’t want to talk at all, but so rationality remained in her subconscious, she murmured, "Just the headache."

Not knowing why Ye Wanwan suddenly had a headache, Shen Yi thought for a mont and said in a deep voice, "I’ll take you to the hospital."

Ye Wanwan didn’t refuse, at this mont, she just felt her head pounding, aware only of Shen Yi’s presence, and just wanted to tell him about her discomfort.

...

At the hospital.

By now, Ye Wanwan’s headache wasn’t as severe as it had initially been, but her temples still throbbed faintly. Yet, after she woke up a bit, seeing how worried Shen Yi looked, she didn’t dare to complain about her discomfort.

"Feeling any better?" Shen Yi sat by the bedside, looking at Ye Wanwan who was half-leaning against the headboard, his face was full of undisguised concern.

Ye Wanwan nodded slightly and even gave Shen Yi a faint smile, "A bit better."

Ye Wanwan’s voice was very soft, in fact, while saying "a bit better," she still felt dizzy, but she didn’t want Shen Yi to worry.

Shen Yi held Ye Wanwan’s hand, his voice hoarse as he said, "The doctor said you have a low fever, the headache might be caused by that."

When he brought Ye Wanwan to the hospital, her pain was so severe that she couldn’t even respond to him, Shen Yi was truly scared at that ti.

But after the doctor examined her, the final result was not clear, only ntioning that Ye Wanwan had a low fever, possibly causing the headache.

"A fever." Ye Wanwan murmured softly, raising her hand to touch her forehead.

In fact, she couldn’t tell if she had a fever, she just felt a constant headache.

In the morning, she vaguely seed to wake up once, but only felt a foggy brain, then continued to sleep.

Probably as the headache worsened, she couldn’t sleep well. When Shen Yi called her, realizing the closest and most trusted person was beside her, she instinctively acted pitiful and coy.
