Shen Wenzhou softly thanked him and instructed the driver to leave. The lobby manager stood in place, watching the car drive away before turning back to his work.
When Shen Wenzhou arrived at the coffee shop, it wasn’t too crowded or empty. He glanced around but didn’t see Ji Muran.
He walked straight to the cashier. The woman at the register hadn’t seen Shen Wenzhou before, and vice versa, so she assud Shen Wenzhou was a custor.
When Shen Wenzhou approached, the cashier asked him a question. Shen Wenzhou stated his purpose directly, "Where is Ji Muran?"
The cashier girl didn’t react imdiately. It was Wang Zing, making coffee nearby, who looked up in surprise and quickly said, "The boss is in the break room. Mr. Shen, you can go directly."
Shen Wenzhou nodded in response to Wang Zing and proceeded to the back.
When he reached the door of the break room, Shen Wenzhou noticed that the door wasn’t closed, and from the entrance, he could see Ji Muran sitting on a sofa, still busy.
Shen Wenzhou didn’t go in imdiately; he knocked on the door instead. The person inside instinctively looked up.
She seed surprised to see him. After a mont of bewildernt, she subconsciously hid the item in her hand behind her.
"Why are you here?" Ji Muran asked in surprise.
Shen Wenzhou didn’t speak; he just raised an eyebrow slightly, watching her. He hadn’t missed the small item Ji Muran tried to hide from him.
