So, Shen Wenzhou must feel sothing for her, right?
Thinking of this, Ji Muran felt a surge of joy in her heart. She couldn’t help but smile, but quickly ca back to her senses and buried that bit of emotion deep inside.
"If you’re not feeling well, you should rest." Shen Wenzhou saw Ji Muran looking very weak but still insisting on staying up. He thought it was because of him being there and that she would feel bad sleeping with him watching, or perhaps she had other concerns.
"I’m here. When the IV is finished, I’ll call the nurse." Shen Wenzhou added.
"Thank you for bringing to the hospital." Ji Muran said softly, looking at Shen Wenzhou.
As their eyes t, Ji Muran silently closed her eyes. She was truly unwell. After holding on for so long, she couldn’t anymore. She fell asleep soon after closing her eyes.
Shen Wenzhou looked at the person lying quietly on the hospital bed. He was a sensitive person, able to easily detect changes in others’ emotions.
For example, at this mont, he knew Ji Muran might be developing so special feelings for him.
But Shen Wenzhou couldn’t pinpoint exactly how he felt.
Repulsed?
It didn’t seem so.
If he were repulsed, he would have left by now, not giving Ji Muran any chance.
But should he leave now?
Shen Wenzhou seriously asked himself, should I leave now?
Leaving now would be a clear rejection of Ji Muran. They had known each other for a while, and for soone as timid as her, any sign of rejection from him would prevent her from ever showing any further intentions.
However, Shen Wenzhou remained seated there, quietly watching Ji Muran.
Until the sudden ringing of his phone startled him. He glanced at the unaware Ji Muran on the bed, took out his phone, and quickly walked out of the room to the reception area.
The call was from his secretary, informing him it was ti for work and asking him to sign so docunts. Unable to find him, she resorted to calling.
Shen Wenzhou inquired about the docunts and said, "Ask Mr. Chen to sign them."
After the secretary said sothing else, Shen Wenzhou glanced back at the hospital room. "Bring the docunts to the hospital."
"No problem, it’s not about . Hmm." Shen Wenzhou hung up the call and returned to the hospital room.
Shen Wenzhou raised his gaze to the IV drip, which was only a third finished. There was another one to go, probably taking another two hours.
The secretary soon arrived with the docunts. After Shen Wenzhou signed, she left with them. Then, he brought his laptop into the room to work.

When Ji Muran groggily woke up, she barely opened her eyes, imdiately feeling a strong sense of discomfort, as if her whole body was exhausted. She couldn’t help but let out a breathy sound.
Shen Wenzhou, sitting on the sofa opposite the hospital bed, heard the noise and turned to see Ji Muran seemingly awake. He quickly got up and walked over.
"You’re awake." Shen Wenzhou sat down by the hospital bed.
Ji Muran opened her eyes slightly, looking at him for a while. mories quickly flooded her mind; she recalled having a fever and Shen Wenzhou bringing her to the hospital.
