She paused and took another look, confirming she wasn’t mistaken, "You guys go ahead, I have sothing to take care of."
Yu Qiqi saw it too and nodded in understanding, "Alright, then we’ll go up first."
Ye Wanwan turned and walked in the opposite direction. When she reached the car, she knocked on the window, and the next mont the car door opened.
"What are you doing here?" Ye Wanwan looked at Shen Yi, who had just gotten out of the car, full of surprise.
"I sent you a ssage; I ca to pick you up after work," Shen Yi explained.
"You sent a ssage?" Ye Wanwan was confused as she hadn’t seen it. She quickly pulled out her phone, opened WeChat, and scrolled down, indeed finding a ssage from Shen Yi from over an hour ago.
"I didn’t see it." Ye Wanwan felt a bit embarrassed; she hadn’t pinned Shen Yi’s chat, so other incoming ssages had pushed it down.
"That was barely past four o’clock, why so early?" It wasn’t even ti to get off work yet.
Shen Yi stroked her head, "There was a sudden eting that announced a business trip. I have a flight at ten tonight, and this ti it should be about ten days."
They would be apart for over ten days again, which was why he wanted to pick her up from work and then have dinner together.
