Ye Wanwan did not know whether it was because she had found Taozhi, but she had a dream in which she saw Zhouzhou.
She was like a wandering soul, watching everything from a third-person perspective.
It was still the familiar villa, yet the atmosphere inside was incredibly oppressive.
She saw Zhouzhou as a teenager, lying on the bed with a red blush on his cheeks and a thin sweat on his forehead. It seed he was having a nightmare, his brows were furrowed tightly together.
Ye Wanwan frowned, was Zhouzhou sick?
Ye Wanwan instinctively wanted to go closer to see, but she found she simply could not move; she could only watch from this angle.
Ye Wanwan felt anxious, and then she saw Shen Yi coming in. Shen Yi seed changed, too, no longer as young as she rembered, exuding a sense of vicissitude and loneliness.
She saw Shen Yi sit by the bed, lifting Zhouzhou to rest against his shoulder, and then he said in a deep voice, "Zhouzhou, wake up and take your dicine."
It seed soone was calling him; Shen Wenzhou opened his eyes. Whether it was the fever or sothing else, the corners of his eyes were red, as if he had just been crying.
"Dad," his voice was hoarse and weak.
Shen Yi let the servant bring the dicine, "Be good, take your dicine."
Shen Wenzhou shook his head, "Dad, I miss her."
Shen Wenzhou’s words carried a sob, just like when he was very little and sought comfort from Shen Yi after being wronged.
Back then, she was like a cold-blooded animal, without any fluctuation in emotion, but now Ye Wanwan felt an extre heartache.
She watched Shen Yi remain silent for a while, then he told Zhouzhou, "If she knew you were sick, she would be worried, don’t let her worry."
"Then why doesn’t she co to see ? Why not even once?" Tears slipped from Shen Wenzhou’s eyes, "She must be blaming , blaming for not even seeing her for the last ti."
It was then that Ye Wanwan realized that Shen Yi and Zhouzhou were talking about her!
Ye Wanwan quickly shook her head, she did not bla Zhouzhou!
Clearly, it was she, the mother, who was incompetent, having done so many things to hurt Zhouzhou, how could she dare to bla him?
"Dad, I miss her, but I haven’t dreamt of her even once, does she not want anymore?" Shen Wenzhou said crying.
"I am not a good child, so she doesn’t want anymore."
"She left, she doesn’t want anymore."
"How could I not co ho, how could I let her be alone!"
"She has never been willing to appear in my dreams, not even once! She must regret having a child like , that’s why she doesn’t want anymore!"
Shen Wenzhou was feverish and delirious, his speech completely disordered.
But even so, he had never called out ’mom’ again. From the mont he learned of Ye Wanwan’s death, in Shen Wenzhou’s heart, he no longer deserved to be her son.
Shen Yi did not speak; he could not comfort Zhouzhou, because he himself could not accept it.
And Ye Wanwan, who had been watching all this, had long been in tears.
"No, Zhouzhou, mom didn’t leave you; mom is sorry to you!"
"Mom doesn’t bla you, how can mom dare to bla you, it’s clearly my fault."
"Zhouzhou, don’t bla yourself, if you’re sick, if you’re unhappy, I would worry."
"Can you be well?"
Ye Wanwan had many things to say, full of remorse and concern, all of which she wanted to tell Zhouzhou, but Zhouzhou could not hear her speak, no one could hear her voice.
