Su Xiangyi and Lin Xu both sent ssages to inquire about Zhouzhou’s first day at school.

Ye Wanwan replied briefly and then continued to stare at her phone screen. It was a real-ti monitor, notoriously dull and tedious, yet Ye Wanwan watched it with rapt attention.

It wasn’t until noon that Teacher Li from the kindergarten sent Ye Wanwan photos of Zhouzhou eating. She comnted on how Zhouzhou had been particularly good all morning, never crying and behaving well during the al, except for stubbornly refusing to eat carrots.

Seeing the photo of her well-behaved Zhouzhou eating, Ye Wanwan was almost lted by the cuteness.

Afterward, Ye Wanwan forwarded the photo to Shen Yi. Although the kindergarten had the contact details for both parents, they had made it clear that in any situation with the kindergarten or Zhouzhou, the mother would be the first point of contact.

So while Ye Wanwan received the photo from Teacher Li, Shen Yi did not.

At that mont, Shen Yi was dining in the employee cafeteria, simultaneously eating and looking at his phone.

Shen Yi’s dining companions were all senior executives. When they saw Shen Yi eating while seemingly watching a video on his phone, they were all startled.

Of course, they didn’t realize he was watching a video of the little young master; they thought he was watching so entertainnt video, which was why they were surprised.

After all, in their minds, their Shen Yi wasn’t supposed to engage in activities that didn’t suit his dignified personality.

In the afternoon, Shen Yi had a eting scheduled. As the ti approached four o’clock, his frown deepened more and more.

Several managers were currently engaged in a heated argunt over clashing ideas. When they saw Shen Yi’s serious and impatient expression, they involuntarily reined in their emotions.

The eting room gradually quieted down. Shen Yi glanced at everyone and then, in an unfriendly tone, urged, "Continue, please!"

There was complete silence in the eting room. Everyone assud that Shen Yi was angry because they had turned the eting room into a marketplace for quarreling, and naturally, no one dared to speak up.

Seeing no one was speaking, Shen Yi asked in a stern voice, "Why have you stopped?"

One of the directors was spirited; feeling indignant that his views had been rejected, he was already upset when he heard Shen Yi reprimanding soone. Deep down, he felt sowhat defiant.

"President Shen, I still stand by my point of view!" the director raised his voice.

Shen Yi looked at him and then glanced at his watch, "Go on."

The director hesitated for a mont, then his face brightened with joy, and he quickly began to expound on his ideas.

Normally, Shen Yi might have tolerated their long-winded speeches, but today he simply couldn’t wait.

Zhouzhou would be getting out of school soon, and it would definitely take half an hour to get there from his current location.

His phone screen lit up, and Shen Yi was almost sure it was Ye Wanwan sending him a ssage.

Shen Yi stood up, and with a "creak", pushed his chair backward. The noise interrupted the director’s speech.

The director looked puzzled at President Shen, not understanding what he ant.

Shen Yi spoke quickly, "Assistant Chen will take over the eting. I have to go."

"Eh?"

"President Shen!"

Ignoring the bewildernt of everyone in the office, Shen Yi was already heading out swiftly.

Assistant Chen coughed lightly as he looked at the people in the eting room. When everyone turned to him, he explained, "Please excuse him. The little young master’s first day of school is today, and President Shen needs to pick up the child
