The white light detonated in front of her eyes completely; in that mont, Ye Wanwan felt as if her heart had stopped beating. It took her several seconds to snap back to reality and start gasping for air.

"Wanwan, Wanwan, what’s wrong?"

"Quick, call the doctor over, the patient has awakened!"

"Wanwan, what’s wrong with you? Look at your mother!"

"..."

Sounds of varying sorts rose and fell around her ears as her mind was a complete blank, utterly clueless as to what was happening at the mont.

"Wanwan, how are you feeling now?"

The familiar yet anxious voice sounded right next to her ear, and it was then that Ye Wanwan ca to her senses. She turned her head to stare blankly at the person in front of her, then opened her mouth and silently called out, "Mom."

Su Xiangyi, looking at her daughter who was staring at her blankly, had tears streaming down her face from anxiety. Then she hugged Ye Wanwan tightly, "You’re finally awake; you scared to death!"

Su Xiangyi had been holding up to her limit. Now, seeing Ye Wanwan awake, her emotions overtook her, and she began to cry while holding her daughter.

Soon the doctor arrived at the ward; Su Xiangyi was squeezed to the side as she watched several doctors attending to Ye Wanwan, performing examinations.

Ye Wanwan was still in a daze at this very mont, her mind empty, letting the doctors examine her. When the doctor asked a question, Ye Wanwan stared blankly, unable to respond.

After the examination, all the doctors appeared confused, totally at a loss as to what exactly was going on.

There was nothing wrong with Ye Wanwan’s physical condition, apart from a tired appearance due to several days of unconsciousness; there were no other issues.

When the checks were over, the doctors stepped aside, and Su Xiangyi imdiately approached, supporting Ye Wanwan’s shoulder and letting her lean on herself while asking the doctors, "Doctor, how is my daughter?"

The doctor, facing Mrs. Ye with a worried expression, said in a complex tone, "Mrs. Ye, your daughter is now fine."

Actually, according to previous examination results, this patient was healthy as well.

Su Xiangyi let out a sigh of relief, holding Ye Wanwan closely and quickly thanked the doctors, "Thank you, thank you!"

The doctor, listening, felt sowhat ashad; they really hadn’t done anything useful this ti.

"Let the patient rest for a while, then bring her for a detailed examination later," the doctor continued.

"Alright, alright," Su Xiangyi agreed repeatedly.

When the doctors left the ward, only Su Xiangyi and Ye Wanwan were left. Su Xiangyi finally sat down beside the bed, looking at Ye Wanwan, whose expression was sowhat blank, and let out another long sigh of relief.

She really couldn’t hold up anymore; it had been too many days.

Ye Wanwan opened her mouth, wanting to call soone, but her throat was parched and she couldn’t make a sound.

Su Xiangyi realized what was happening and quickly brought over so warm water, "Here, have so water first."

Ye Wanwan didn’t refuse and silently drank so water.

"Wanwan, how are you feeling now? Feeling better?" Su Xiangyi asked.

Ye Wanwan nodded and softly replied, "Mhm."

"That’s good if nothing’s wrong!" While Su Xiangyi was speaking, tears uncontrollably slid down from her eyes.

Ye Wanwan didn’t know what to say; by this ti, she had fully co back to her senses and began to realize what had happened.
