Fang Xian looked sowhat anxious, hurriedly calling out, "President Shen!"

Shen Yi glanced up, giving Fang Xian a cold look, then said indifferently, "Isn’t the project moving along smoothly? Manager Fang, what work has brought you here today?"

"Today I..." Fang Xian paused, frowning slightly, looking hesitant to continue.

"Manager Fang, my ti is very precious," Shen Yi continued, his words laced with impatience.

At that mont, Fang Xian felt incredibly nervous, her heart beating so fast it felt like it would leap out of her chest. Clenching her fists and gritting her teeth, she finally mustered the courage to say, "What happened at the cocktail party yesterday, you did it on purpose!"

Fang Xian’s tone was filled with conviction. She had thought about it all night and couldn’t understand why, but she had an intuition deep down telling her that Shen Yi did it deliberately.

"Deliberately?" Shen Yi pulled at the corner of his mouth, a mocking smile appearing on his face. "What’s this about deliberate or not deliberate? I was rely stating the facts I knew."

Fang Xian’s face turned from pale to flushed, and finally, steeling herself, she said, "I have nothing to do with them!"

The "them" in her mouth included Zhou Yuntao, that shrewish woman’s husband, and maybe others as well.

"We’re just colleagues, nothing more than that," Fang Xian explained.

"Manager Fang," Shen Yi began to speak, then paused, looking at Fang Xian before changing his address, "Fang Xian, why on earth do you think I’m an idiot?"

At the word "idiot," Shen Yi’s mocking smile grew. Was it because in his past life he was like an idiot that in this life Fang Xian still thought of him as one?

"I..."

"Fang Xian, it’s none of my business if you play mind gas with others, but you’ve used those tricks on . Whether it was back in D Country or now, I don’t think I’ve ever given you even the slightest hint that there was any possibility between us, have I?"

As he spoke, Shen Yi surveyed Fang Xian from head to toe, as if appraising an object, and his expression clearly showed disdain for her.

"It seems the warning I gave you back in D Country was too insignificant, leading you to forget so quickly that so people are not to be ssed with."

Shen Yi said lightly, but Fang Xian was already unable to control her emotions, her eyes reddening with anger. Of course, she hadn’t forgotten the events that took place in D Country.

"I don’t understand why you would like soone like Ye Wanwan. She’s not worthy of you at all!" Fang Xian said.

At the ntion of "Ye Wanwan," Shen Yi’s expression turned completely grim. He looked at Fang Xian with ice in his eyes, "You’re not worthy to speak her na."

Fang Xian opened her mouth, seemingly wanting to say sothing, but before she could speak, Shen Yi continued, "My wife, whatever she may be, has never been as shaless as you."

After he finished, Shen Yi tilted his head, making a ’tsk’ sound of impatience. "My mistake, you don’t even qualify to be compared with Wanwan."

"I..."

"Yesterday’s incident was just a small reminder. It’s up to you to take the hint. I don’t have ti to waste here talking nonsense with you, please leave," Shen Yi said dismissively.

The office door was knocked on again as the secretary ca in to deliver coffee.

After putting down the coffee, Shen Yi said coldly, "See Manager Fang out."

"Yes, President Shen," the secretary understood from his tone exactly what she should do.
