"I don’t want to go out," Ye Wanwan said listlessly.
Shen Yi nodded, "Then just rest at ho."
After a pause of a few seconds, Shen Yi suddenly rembered sothing else, "Oh, Zhouzhou called this morning. You were still resting at the ti, so I didn’t disturb you. Call him back later."
"Zhouzhou made a video call?" Ye Wanwan’s spirits lifted imdiately, "I didn’t get a chance to video call Zhouzhou yesterday; I don’t know how he’s doing."
"Don’t worry, he seed fine. He was taken fishing by Dad yesterday, and he’s even going to the orchard today." Talking about it, Shen Yi couldn’t help but feel the urge to laugh.
What Dad took Zhouzhou out for wasn’t really to fish; it was clearly to show him off, making his peers who weren’t grandfathers yet envious.
He hadn’t checked his phone last night, and only this morning did he find out that quite a few friends had ssaged him, saying it was one thing for him to enjoy himself, but another to tornt them.
They said that yesterday, Chairman Shen took his precious grandson out to show off, and they themselves then received calls from their own fathers, and ended up being nagged in a sarcastic tone.
Ye Wanwan also chuckled, "Zhouzhou has really changed a lot recently."
"Mhm, Doctor Huang also said that he’s basically caught up with the language abilities that kids his age should have," Shen Yi was naturally happy about Zhouzhou’s progress.
After Ye Wanwan had finished breakfast, she ssaged Lin Xu to make sure Zhouzhou was around, and then quickly made a video call.
As soon as the video connected, the first thing Ye Wanwan saw was Zhouzhou. Her face brimming with joy and slightly excited, she called out, "Zhouzhou!"
Zhouzhou was equally delighted and hurriedly called out, "Mommy mommy..."
But as he called, Zhouzhou’s little mouth puckered, and his eyes reddened, looking like he was about to cry from grievance.
"Zhouzhou is missing Mommy, huh!" Ye Wanwan missed Zhouzhou just as much; after all, this was the first ti she had been away from Zhouzhou for this long since his birth.
Although she was having fun with Shen Yi, she really, really missed Zhouzhou.
"Missing Mommy!" Zhouzhou said, his voice full of woe.
"Don’t be sad, okay? Mommy will be back soon to be with our Zhouzhou," Ye Wanwan soothed him.
Zhouzhou quickly shook his head, "Mommy have fun, Mommy be happy, Zhouzhou not scared!"
"Zhouzhou is so great!" Ye Wanwan was close to tears, touched by his sweetness. How could her baby be so good? At that mont, she truly wished she could imdiately appear beside Zhouzhou and hold him tight in her arms and give him a big kiss!
After talking to Zhouzhou for a while, Shen Yun’an was ready to take his precious grandson out to continue boasting, and only then did Ye Wanwan reluctantly end the video call.
"I miss Zhouzhou so much!" Ye Wanwan looked at Shen Yi, her face clearly struggling with not being able to see Zhouzhou.
Shen Yi smiled and stroked her head, "The vacation is only so long, we’ll be back in at most another week."
