"Zhouzhou, do you miss Daddy?" Shen Yi asked with a smile on his face, his voice gentle.

Tears still streaked Zhouzhou’s face, but upon hearing his father’s voice on the phone, he nodded vigorously.

"Daddy misses Zhouzhou too," said Shen Yi.

Suddenly, Zhouzhou reached out toward the phone and said in a pitiable tone, "Hug!"

For a mont, both Shen Yi and Ye Wanwan were taken aback, stunned for several seconds before Shen Yi, with a smile tilting his lips, said in a deep voice, "Okay, Daddy will hug."

Zhouzhou stretched out his arms again, wanting to be hugged, but Shen Yi couldn’t embrace him through the phone.

Zhouzhou looked up at his mom, tears still glistening in his eyes, as if asking why Daddy, who said he would hug him, wasn’t doing so yet.

Ye Wanwan was about to say sothing when a knock at the door was heard; Zhouzhou wrapped his arms around Ye Wanwan’s neck all of a sudden, clinging onto her.

"Wanwan, can you step out for a mont?" Su Tong asked from outside.

"Okay," Ye Wanwan replied, then spoke to Shen Yi on the video call, "I’ll go have a look and talk to you later."

"Mm," Shen Yi nodded in agreent.

After the video call ended, Ye Wanwan, carrying Zhouzhou, went to open the door, where two adults and two children stood. Ye Wanwan asked, "What’s going on?"

Zhang Xuehan said, "I can’t continue with the show going on like this."

Ye Wanwan looked toward Su Tong, who also nodded, "It’s just an entertainnt show, not much different from the previous ones, we didn’t think too much about it, but now that I think about it, we didn’t consider things thoroughly."

"It’s okay for adults to have their struggles and sches; after all, that’s what it’s like in the industry, you encounter these things everywhere, but this ti, having the children here and letting them see all this is too detrintal to their values."

"So we’ve co to tell you our thoughts," they continued.

Ye Wanwan had already made her decision; she would definitely not continue, no matter what. She asked in a faint voice, "What about Zhao Yingling?"

Her impression of Zhao Yingling had beco so bad that she didn’t even want to call her Miss Zhao.

"She’s downstairs," Zhang Xuehan motioned her chin toward the stairs, indicating that the person was downstairs.

"What exactly is going on with her?" Ye Wanwan couldn’t help furrowing her brows as she spoke.

Since the live broadcast had been turned off abruptly earlier and there were no other staff mbers nearby, Su Tong said in a low voice, "I heard before that Zhao Yingling was originally set to marry into a wealthy family."

"Originally?" Ye Wanwan was puzzled.

Su Tong nodded, "Well, it’s all about the child’s value, but after her child was born, there was no talk of her getting married, and even Zhenzhen was brought up by her alone."

Ye Wanwan still didn’t fully understand, but Zhang Xuehan had already caught on, her face contorted with horror, "Is it because she values sons over daughters?"

"Otherwise, why say there was going to be a marriage during the pregnancy, but after the child was born, all went silent? I wasn’t close to her before, so whether it’s true or not, it doesn’t involve , but now you see her attitude toward Zhenzhen."

Su Tong implied enough, but Ye Wanwan and Zhang Xuehan both understood; although it had only been two days, they had clearly observed how indifferent Zhao Yingling was towards Zhao Zhenzhen.

"The staff told just now that Xun Yuan is on his way here; let’s wait for Xun Yuan to arrive before we discuss this," Su Tong sighed.

"All right," Ye Wanwan, holding Zhouzhou, didn’t even feel like going downstairs, so she simply invited Su Tong and the others into her bedroom.
