When He Qingyun stumbled into the basent, she saw Ren Yushi lying on the floor and Qin Yanbo leaning against the back of the sofa.
Qin Yanbo, hearing the noise, looked up and saw He Qingyun. He sneered, "Took you long enough to get here!"
He Qingyun, as if she hadn’t heard Qin Yanbo’s words, ran toward Ren Yushi.
Ren Yushi was lying face down, so initially, He Qingyun couldn’t clearly see what state he was in.
It wasn’t until she reached his side, collapsed to the ground, and helped Ren Yushi up that she saw he had been beaten to a pulp, his forehead was broken open, and blood was coming from his nose and the corners of his mouth.
By this ti, Ren Yushi had already lost consciousness. Clutching Ren Yushi, He Qingyun tried to hold back her sobs and cried, "Ren Yushi, Ren Yushi!"
"Stop yelling!" Qin Yanbo said irritably. He casually picked up a throw pillow from the sofa and threw it at He Qingyun.

Qin Yanbo said this through clenched teeth, and as he uttered the last few words, he poked He Qingyun’s head with his finger.
Her head was rocked from side to side as she held onto Ren Yushi, anger blossoming out of her panic.
So it was because of that video, all because of that video!
She wondered why Ren Yushi had suddenly co to find Qin Yanbo; it turned out that the video had fallen into Qin Yanbo’s hands!
When she recorded that video, she indeed ant to threaten Ren Yushi. At that ti she needed soone like him by her side to get things done, so she recorded it to keep Ren Yushi in line.
He Qingyun looked at the unconscious Ren Yushi, tears dripping onto his cheeks.
She had promised Ren Yushi that they would go to another city together, start a new life together, but now, she seed about to break her promise.
Suddenly, He Qingyun stood up, and before Qin Yanbo could react, there was a "thump," which, in the quiet basent, sounded piercingly loud.
Qin Yanbo’s facial expression froze when he lowered his head and saw the knife embedded in his abdon, finding it unbelievable.
When he raised his head to look at He Qingyun, he saw a He Qingyun who was no longer visibly trembling in fear as before.
Gazing at Qin Yanbo, He Qingyun’s eyes were filled with endless hate.
