They had just descended two floors when suddenly, a "boom" erupted from the walkie-talkie, followed by a series of ear-piercing sounds, seemingly caused by a signal disruption.
In the walkie-talkie, soone was shouting, "Captain, Captain! Where are you all now? Is Miss Ye and Mr. Shen still upstairs?"
Behind Shen Yi, one of the security personnel quickly replied through the walkie-talkie, "Team One, we’ve already co down the safety passage! We will soon reach the first floor. What’s the situation with the fire now?"

All of the security personnel were holding fire extinguishers, attempting to carve a path through the blaze.
However, at this mont, the fire extinguishers in the hands of the security personnel were of little use. The fire was too great, and the entire lobby had caught fire.
The various decorations and chandeliers hanging from the ceiling began to fall recklessly in the midst of the fierce fire.

He saw Ye Wanwan being loaded into an ambulance, tears sliding from the corners of his eyes. He rembered.
As it turned out, he was the one who had killed Ye Wanwan!
