Ye Wanwan picked up her phone from the bedside and stared at her WeChat conversation page with Shen Yi, hesitating for a long ti before she couldn’t resist sending him a ssage.
It was already past midnight, and she had no idea whether he was busy or already resting, but her ssage didn’t get an imdiate reply from Shen Yi.
But Ye Wanwan couldn’t sleep and kept staring at her phone’s screen.
About ten minutes later, when Ye Wanwan was starting to grow impatient, her phone suddenly pinged. She hurriedly checked, and sure enough, it was Shen Yi replying.
A huge smile imdiately spread across Ye Wanwan’s face as she quickly ssaged Shen Yi back.
Then, Shen Yi’s video call ca through.
In the video, Shen Yi was wearing a bathrobe, his hair still wet, clearly having just co out of the shower.
"Are you still awake, or did you wake up?" Shen Yi frowned slightly. They had already video-called at ten, and she was ready to sleep then.
Ye Wanwan honestly replied, "I can’t sleep."
"What’s wrong? Are you feeling unwell?" Shen Yi asked, sowhat worried.
Ye Wanwan shook her head again.
Knowing she wasn’t feeling unwell, Shen Yi breathed a sigh of relief and continued, "Then what is it?"
Ye Wanwan felt a bit embarrassed, thinking it would be too clingy if she spoke her mind.
But it was indeed because Shen Yi wasn’t by her side that she couldn’t sleep!
Seeing Ye Wanwan not speaking, Shen Yi didn’t get impatient and kept watching the video call, waiting for her to answer.
After quite a while, Ye Wanwan spoke with feigned nonchalance, "It’s just that our baby missed daddy, so couldn’t sleep."
Upon hearing this, Shen Yi instantly understood. A smile involuntarily curled up at the corner of his mouth, "Then tell the baby that daddy will co back the day after tomorrow and that he should be obedient and listen to mommy."
Ye Wanwan pursed her lips, sowhat speechless. Of course, she knew Shen Yi would be back the day after tomorrow.

Shen Yi naturally knew the baby was just an excuse, and the person who missed him was Ye Wanwan. Because of that, the smile on his face was even more evident.
"If I can finish everything tomorrow, I’ll co back tomorrow night," Shen Yi said softly.
Ye Wanwan still pretended to be proudly indifferent, "You should focus on your work, don’t worry about ."
She wasn’t the type to make unreasonable demands.
Shen Yi still smiled, and as they were talking, a sudden knock on the door could be heard. Through the phone, Ye Wanwan didn’t hear it.
But she saw Shen Yi stand up, and the phone wobbled. Ye Wanwan didn’t ask anything, just watched her phone.
Until a woman’s coquettish voice ca through from the phone, "President Shen."
In an instant, Ye Wanwan’s eyes widened in shock. What was happening on Shen Yi’s end?
