Originally, she had wanted to eat a small piece of cake and have sothing to drink. If she couldn’t find a suitable gift, she would have let it be.

Ye Wanwan sighed and then turned to walk outside. Uncle Zhang didn’t ask anything and quickly followed her.

At Jinghong, the receptionist directly swiped the card to let Ye Wanwan and Uncle Zhang in, and after they entered, she pressed the intercom to notify the president’s office.

"Didn’t you say you would co later?" Shen Yi asked softly, his hand subconsciously lifting to touch Ye Wanwan’s head.
Originally, because Ye Wanwan wanted to look for a gift for Shen Yi, she had agreed with him to co over around twelve o’clock, which would be right when Shen Yi would usually take a lunch break.
Ye Wanwan looked at Shen Yi without speaking. Although she didn’t make it obvious, Shen Yi understood Ye Wanwan and knew at a glance that she was troubled.
"What’s wrong?" Shen Yi also frowned but still spoke softly and gently.
"I just ran into He Qingyun," Ye Wanwan reported truthfully.
Although she couldn’t tell Shen Yi about her rebirth, Shen Yi had felt from the beginning that He Qingyun was a strange person and had told her to stay away from him, so she didn’t need any excuses.

Shen Yi frowned in silence for a few seconds then smiled at Ye Wanwan, "Don’t be afraid, I’m here."
"Okay," Ye Wanwan nodded, still a bit worried at heart.
Before Zhouzhou, she seed quite brave, and although she was afraid of He Qingyun, she didn’t obsess over it constantly. But now it was different; she had to ensure Zhouzhou’s safety.
"Let’s go to my office first," Shen Yi said and then put his arm around Ye Wanwan’s shoulder, protecting her as they walked to his office.
Once in the office, Shen Yi didn’t get busy with work but instead sat down with Ye Wanwan on the couch.
"What would you like to eat later?" Shen Yi asked softly.
