The next day.
Shen Yi couldn’t make it ho for lunch to eat with Ye Wanwan today, so he ordered a al and had it delivered to the apartnt. After Ye Wanwan finished her al, she started to pack her luggage.
However, when she got to the walk-in closet, she discovered the luggage was already packed.
Ye Wanwan was stunned for a mont; last night she hadn’t packed at all, so it must have been Shen Yi who packed everything early this morning.
Ye Wanwan snorted haughtily and then turned around to continue lying in the bedroom.
After finishing his eting in the afternoon, Shen Yi hurried back and personally made dinner for Ye Wanwan.
After dinner, Shen Yi drove Ye Wanwan to the airport.
While waiting to board the plane, Shen Yi held Ye Wanwan’s hand the entire ti, fully aware of how much he didn’t want her to leave at that mont.
Shen Yi felt sowhat helpless. He never thought that there would co a day when he would be so imrsed in love.
As the ti for departure drew near, Shen Yi still clutched Ye Wanwan’s hand and wouldn’t let go.
Ye Wanwan was sowhat amused and helpless as it seed that every ti at the airport, the sa scene would play out.
Sotis even Ye Wanwan couldn’t figure it out, the Shen Yi of the past was never like this, so why had he changed so much now?
Regardless of the reason, Ye Wanwan admitted one thing: she liked the Shen Yi who professed everything and made her feel his intense love.
"I have to go," Ye Wanwan said.
"Hmm," Shen Yi responded deeply, still not letting go of her hand.
He looked at Ye Wanwan, knowing that every separation was only temporary, but each ti, it made him feel as if he was about to lose Ye Wanwan for good.
That illusion and the emotions it brought always took many days to gradually dissipate.
Ye Wanwan saw the emotion in Shen Yi and took the initiative to hug him. "Alright, no need to be reluctant, you’ll be going back soon too."
Shen Yi was silent for a long ti before he finally spoke with difficulty, "Alright."
Ye Wanwan let go of Shen Yi, raised her hand, and waved at him, "Goodbye."
After speaking, Ye Wanwan turned around and prepared to leave when Shen Yi suddenly said, "Wanwan."
"Hmm?" Ye Wanwan looked back, puzzled at Shen Yi.
Shen Yi’s Adam’s apple moved, and finally, he said, "Rember to miss ."
"Sure," Ye Wanwan readily agreed, then turned and walked away without looking back.
Shen Yi stood there, watching the receding figure of Ye Wanwan, always feeling a hollowness in his heart.
But in the end, there was nothing else to do, and Shen Yi only turned to leave after she was out of sight.
...
After Ye Wanwan returned to her country, she first slept fitfully for two days to overco jet lag and then revitalized herself for the full moon.
Yu Qiqi found out Ye Wanwan had returned and invited her out to play, to which Ye Wanwan agreed without hesitation.
The five-person team from the planning departnt was all present today. Tang Xiaorou, having recently joined and been busy, hadn’t had the chance to et up with Yu Qiqi and the others.
Finding herself with so free ti today, she took the opportunity to discuss work matters with Yu Qiqi.
Yu Qiqi genuinely wanted to join Tang Xiaorou at work. Su Hang and Zhang Zixuan also showed interest, but since neither had any experience in that field, they didn’t know if they could get hired.
As for Ye Wanwan, when the others looked at her, Ye Wanwan shook her head, "I’ve heard a bit about the job from Xiaorou. I don’t think it’s suitable for , so I’ll pass."
