The person who was asked looked left and right, equally perplexed, "Right, where’s the madam? She was clearly right in front of just a mont ago."
Several dostic staff started looking around, and not only did they not find the cat, but they had also lost the madam.
"Madam!" a servant called out loudly.
However, there was no answer. The servant called out twice more, but still no one replied.
It was already getting dark, with the usual sunset leading into night, but at that mont it inexplicably seed sowhat dangerous.
The few servants exchanged glances, seeing a hint of panic in each other’s eyes.
In fact, only Uncle Zhang had accompanied Ye Wanwan to the police station that afternoon, and the other staff didn’t know about the threats Ye Wanwan received.
Just as a servant was about to turn back to look for Ye Wanwan, Uncle Zhang erged from the villa asking, "Where’s the madam?"
Uncle Zhang had been eating and resting at the staff quarters behind the villa and didn’t know the madam was looking for him. By the ti he ca out, he heard the household ntion that the madam was looking for him and was planning to return to the Ye Family’s ho.
So, Uncle Zhang ca out of the villa to look for the madam, but when he erged, he only saw a few colleagues and did not see the madam.
"Taozhi has run off sowhere, we were just out looking for Taozhi together, and now we don’t know where the madam has gone?" said a servant, frowning.
The servants were sowhat nervous, but didn’t think too much of it, assuming the madam must have been looking for Taozhi and wandered off in the process.
However, Uncle Zhang was aware of the danger Ye Wanwan was in at that mont, and as soon as he heard she was missing, his expression imdiately changed.
"This is bad!" Uncle Zhang’s face grew serious, and he took off running back into the villa!
The villa complex was vast; it took several minutes to drive out from there. If the madam had indeed been taken away, it would have taken ti!
Uncle Zhang sprinted into the villa and, while the other servants were still looking puzzled, he picked up the landline and called the property managent.
The phone was quickly answered, "Hello, property managent."
"This is Shen Yi, the property owner. Our madam has been kidnapped! Now don’t let any vehicles leave the villa complex!" Uncle Zhang barked into the phone.
There was silence on the line for a few seconds before the property managent responded, "A car just left the villa complex with a license plate registered to the Shen Family’s ho!"
The villa complex always had excellent security; any license plates not registered with the property managent by the hoowner were denied entry.
No matter if it was friends or family, any unregistered license plate would be asked to have the driver call first and gain permission from the hoowner before being let through.
Even taxis, even if they were carrying hoowners, were never allowed into the villa complex.
Just before property managent received this call, they had just allowed a car to leave, which was a license plate registered by the Shen Family.
"This is bad!" Uncle Zhang didn’t waste another word with the property managent and imdiately hung up, then dialed the ergency number for the police.
They had just been to the police station that morning because the case had turned into a homicide, and it was taken very seriously. The police had even provided a private number, instructing them to call imdiately if anything happened.
Uncle Zhang dialed the number frantically, with every second of waiting for the call to connect feeling impossibly long.
As soon as he heard the call click through, before the other person could speak, Uncle Zhang hurriedly said, "Officer, our madam has been taken away!"
"What’s the situation?" the person on the other end of the line asked.
