Assistant Yu looked at the directors and felt sympathy over them for he was also terrified at first at how abnormal his young master was. Unfortunately for them, they did not know about his young master’s current situation. For now, he was slowly getting used to his young master’s weird reactions but he was also as pale as the directors right now a while back.
If the directors knew that their boss was currently talking with his new wife at this mont, Assistant Yu was sure that they would most definitely not believe it all. Moreover, they might probably not believe it more that this devil-incarnate of a man was already married and was smitten by his wife. If they knew, Assistant Yu was really curious as to what their reactions would be.
Under the curious and uneasy gazes, Lexus nonchalantly ended the call and shoved his phone back into his pocket calmly. He acted as if nothing unusual happened and was now looking at them with indifference and coldness.
The directors turned small under his pressing and scrutinizing gaze, especially so was he remained his mouth shut. The directors were really nervous and another bout of swear broke out of their bodies, almost to the point of seriously soaking their shirts.
"Continue." Lexus finally said after a mont of silence. At this ti, the only thing he wanted to do was get this things be over now and finish all of his work for today to run and go to where his wife was. He has really missed her now even if they had just talked on the phone monts ago.
The directors swallowed a lump in their throats and adjusted themselveson their seats. After a few monts of delay, the eting had finally resud smoothly. Much to everyone’s surprise, Lexus was calm throughout the eting. This was really unprecedented because on usual days or etings, there isn’t one where he won’t explode and would really turn into a devil. So why was he acting like this? Was this the calm before the storm? If so, the directors would rather have their boss who explodes on etings like usual instead of risking a smooth eting only to experience a really severe and just downright bad eting.
However, the people working under Lexus were clearly was thinking too much and that they don’t have to worry about his unusual behavior. All were edgy and even more cautious as they worked silently for the day. Because of how stiff, uneasy, and nervous they were as they worked for the day, almost all of the employees were imdiately exhausted and so even strained themselves.
"Xi, clear my scheduled etings starting around 5. I want to go fetch my wife early today because of I will be having dinner together with her grandfather." Lexus indifferently said to Assistant Yu who then looked at the scheduled eting on his tablet. Fortunately, the scheduled was not that important and can be moved at a later date.
Assistant Yu was really efficient with his work. After just a few minutes of rechecking and rescheduling the etings and called the people involved to explain to them, he wa able to finish it all quite imdiately. However, this was expected and be considered really easy. This was not at all that hard. If the people that has a scheduled eting with Lexus have such high position, then the work woud be even more trickier. Fortunately, Assistant Yu was capable and can do his job quite splendidly.
Lexus looked at his assistant with cool eyes and nonchalantly said, "Your life is really boring. Find a girlfriend, Xi."
Assistant Yu, having to hear this all of a sudden, almost vomitted blood. As if it’s easy! Why don’t you give xso ti off and not give problems to deal with, then maybe I could get myself a girlfriend! He then looked at his young master and wanted to complain but had to swallow it back down bitterly.
No matter, he was bound to serve Lexus for the rest of his life. However, Assistant Yu really doesn’t know if he was lucky to have been saved by his young master when young or it was just bad luck. Unfortunately, he could not run away now after so long of working under this troubleso master that he himself was worried that his young master’s dark side might have probably rubbed on him.
"Young master, my hands are currently full that I don’t have much ti to find one." Assistant Yu replied while his brow twitched. Seriously, why rub so salt in his open wound? He just recently found himself a wife and now he was being cocky about it? Really now?
Assitant Yu was really annoyed but, fortunately, he had already honed his patience to the maximum level making him not pay his young master’s obvious teasing.
"Do you want to find soone for you?" Lexus suggested with raised eyebrow as he looked at the livid-faced Assistant Yu and found it really funny. He couldn’t help but tease him more.
"Young master, I appreciate your concern but I think you should mind more on your relationship with young madam and deepen your bond." Assistant Yu’s vein popped on his head and his smile was so forced that it hurts to see it.
"Hmm...You’re right. Despite being single all your life, you still do know so things. You really have a good head on your neck." Lexus smirked and pulled his phone out to text his wife.
Assistant Yu was shaking so much as he tried his best not to explode. No matter, his young master really was ruthless. Even for him who had served him the longest, he was the more rciless with butchering him with words. Assistant Yu then swore to himself that he will definitely find soone interesting.
Assistant Yu then went to the HR Departnt as to get a report from them that Lexus had requested. Seriously, why not just ask soone to send it to his office instead of letting him go there? However much he complained, Assistant Yu still went to retreave it.
If there would really co a day that he will find soone special, he would definitely cherish her. But, Assistant Yu stopped walking and thought, ’Will there ever be ti where he can et her?’
