Lu Xing was so heartbroken. The man she admired, adored, and loved cold-heartedly rejected her. She could not accept the rejection. She could not take the blow at all so she could only ran out of the office and out of his piercing cold eyes for that look of his was a painful blow to her heart.
’The first ti I saw you, you were so dazzling and bright that I could not help but feel dazzled and timid at your brilliance. The first ti I saw you smile, though for only just a split second, my heart fluttered uncontrollably I thought I could die. So say that you’re a cold and indifferent man, ruthless even, but I did not care. All I see was your overwhelming charm that no other man can compare. But why did this happen? Where did it go wrong? When? It was , Lu Xing! It was who first noticed his unique magnificence. I was the first girl he was acquainted with. I was the first to appreciate him. I was the first woman to have ever loved him. And yet, why? WHY?!’
What’s more was that she was humiliated in front of Grandma and that btch? The seething and burning anger spreading from her heart to her body was almost unbearable for her that she was breathing heavily.
Lu Xing’s tears blurred her eyes and her mind was in chaos. She did not even notice that she had entered the elevator and slid down on the floor while clutching her tightening chest.
Big droplets of pearl-like tears dropped on the steel floor of the elevator one by one as if her grievances, anger, humiliation, poured out of her. The graceful and mature woman she portrayed herself to be was nowhere to be found, instead it was replaced with a fragile girl with her heart broken into pieces.
"That’s right." Lu Xing suddenly said, swollen red eyes opened wide, realizing sothing that was most obvious. Her crying also stopped at the sa ti her clouded mind slowly cleared. She wiped her tears and slowly got up from the floor.
"I have not been defeated yet. I won’t stand by and just watch as my beloved is being stolen from . Lexus is mine. He’s my man and no one else’s." She said to herself and went silent for a mont, thinking of how to deal with October. And then, as if a brilliant thought ca in mind, a smile blood on her face. If soone saw her face, they would truly know that her smile was as pretty as it was poisonous.
Lu Xing did not wait anymore as she fished out her phone from her bag and dialed a number at the sa ti that the elevator door opened, indicating she arrived on the ground floor.
"Miss Lu, hello. Is there sothing more I can do for you?" A male voice’s sound ca though not as enthusiastic as the statent he had said.
Lu Xing sneered. Now wearing her sunglasses and got into the car that was waiting for her, she said coldly, "You truly raised a demoness, a shaless seductress who doesn’t know where to place her hands to things that already belongs to soone else. But it’s not a wonder why she’s lacking in discipline and education since she ca from you."
That’s right. The person that Lu Xing was calling was no other than Peizhi.
"...!" Peizhi’s face instantly darkened at the outright insult that Lu Xing had said to him. Although he had so respect with Lu Xing, still he was her elder and should be treated like one. However, the young lady of the Lu family did not give him face at all which brought his blood boiling.
Lu Xing chortled derisively. Honestly, she was disgusted with Peizhi. He was the absolute worst. However, that does not an that she felt sorry for October since she hated her to the core.
"Hmph! Anyway, there’s sothing I want you to do."
Peizhi took a deep breath to calm himself. No matter, if it was to satisfy this Young Miss Lu, he would do it in order to help his company and also get back at October.
"Anything, Miss Lu. Just say it."
"Of course." Lu Xing turned her head to look out of the window, eyes cold and sharp. "I want you to get rid of the baby."
"...baby?" Peizhi’s frown got deeper and deeper, feeling lost. ’Whose baby?’
"What? Are you that blind?" Lu Xing snapped, feeling annoyed.
"...can Miss Lu tell whose baby it is?" Peizhi pinched the bridge of his nose.
Lu Xing rolled her eyes and said with a sneer, "Get rid of the baby inside your daughter’s belly."
Just thinking about the flesh and blood of the man she loved yet not hers was not a good taste to her mouth. She wanted to spit it.
"I don’t care what thod you do, I want it out."
Peizhi felt his blood run cold. If it is his daughter’s baby, then that’s his grandchild. That’s his blood and yet he heard this spoiled young lady wanting him to kill his own grandchild. This was crazy.
Lu Xing harrumphed, noticing the silence on the other end of the phone. "What? Getting cold feet? Don’t be thinking like it is your blood since you had already abandoned your daughter long ago. What’s more, this isn’t the first ti you’ve dealt with a family mber."
Peizhi felt his heart thumped and hand shook almost dropping his phone. His face twisted and darkened, "I don’t know what you’re talking about."
"Ha! Don’t think that that dark past of yours is buried deep. Don’t underestimate the connection of my family." Lu Xing coldly spat. "But I don’t care about that. Just deal with it."
’I made sure that that matter was covered up quite perfectly. I disposed of all people involved so why? Who was it?’
"Okay. I...I will make preparations and will let you know when."
Peizhi’s relationship with October has already ended and does not have much feelings for her. That’s why, he steeled himself.
"No. I want you to make it done now. I want it now. Deal with it right now, if not...you know what will happen." Thus, ending the call.
Lu Xing threw her phone on the side and crossed her arms over her chest. As if getting restless and uncomfortable, she bit her finger in deep thought.
’This all started because that btch got herself pregnant. If not because of her pregnancy, Lexus would not have cared so much for her. That slut! She has to stoop so low and climbed on his bed to tie him up. Maybe she knew that Lexus is a very responsible person and so got married to him.’
"That shaless btch." Lu Xing mumbled darkly, "You only got him because of the baby. So if there’s no baby, Lexus would realize that you are a person who does not care with his child. He will not be tied up anymore with a child."
"This fcking btch." Peizhi roared almost throwing his phone on the floor. He really does not like the fact that he was trying to flatter this spoiled young lady. However, there’s truly nothing he could do if he wanted to help his company.
What was more upsetting was the fact that that dark past has started to resurface. Why now? Sohow, this timing was giving his an ominous premonition, like sothing will happen that does not favor him.
Peizhi was frustrated and angry. He swept all of the things on top of his table onto the floor.
This was not good, not good at all. He had to do sothing about this. If not, that Lu Xing might expose this matter and all of his hard-earned reputation will go down the drain and he could not let that happen. Never!
Taking a couple of deep breathes, Peizhi dialed a number and it was answered almost imdiately.
"I have a job for you."
anwhile, October was stuck sitting on the lap of Lexus who seed to not have any plans of letting her go. She was truly helpless. The longer she was with him. the more she noticed that he was really clingy as if a pet that does not want to be left behind. Thus, she could only sigh.
"Yu Xi." October called and almost instantly, Assistant Yu flashed to stand in front of her in attention.
"Yes, young madam." He said respectfully. However, he could not help but take a quick peek at his boss before chuckling to himself when he saw the look on his boss’ face.
’My boss has truly beco a wife slave.’
"Is my husband’s schedule free today?" She asked, leaning her body on Lexus’ chest, letting Lexus have an easy access with her slightly raised 3-month belly. Sohow, he developed a habit of rubbing her belly whenever he wanted to. Anyway, she does not mind it at all.
"Actually, young madam...uh~" Assistant Yu started to say but got cut off by that deadly glare behind October. He felt his insides churn.
October imdiately noticed the unusual behavior and so gave a warning glare and Lexus who instantly pouted.
"Tell , Assistant Yu." October nodded at Assistant Yu for him to continue. With that, he started to tell his young madam of his boss’ schedule.
