October who was protected by Lexus pursed her lips tightly. She listened to all of the reporters’ nonstop questions. The more she listened, the more her frown deepened. She does not know where they all ca up with those rumors...but what rumors were they?
News travelled fast. With a lot of pairs of eyes that thirst for gossip to feast on, it was not that surprising for the reporters to flock in groups to follow the most intriguing and controversial couple that had suddenly sprouted from the who knows where.
People, especially the ladies, all wept and got heartbroken from this shocking news about their dream guy. So people were like that while most of the ladies does not like the idea that so unknown woman had just sprung up from who knows where to steal their man. It was unacceptable. They could not tolerate it. They wanted to crash the woman who shalessly called herself "wife."
Reporters and paparazzi were in heated argunt on who will be on the very front of the rumored married couple, Lexus and the unknown woman.
"Please clarify your relationship, President Song."
"Does your employees know of your marriage?"
Lexus’ veins pulsated trendously on his head and his eyes frosted over. Even in the open, the dia people did not not notice the sudden drop of temperature surrounding them. Who wouldn’t?!
Lexus’ dark face coupled with his imnse and intense aura that almost knocked them down made them see the demon that lurked at the shadow of Lexus was terrifying. Yes, how could they forget that Lexus was a frightening existence that they normal and lowly humans could not content to.
So shuddered making their equipnt they were holding to almost slip and drop on the ground. Those with a feint personality almost lost their strength and had trouble to keep themselves standing.
’No. This is such a great scoop. This is related to that notorious CEO, Lexus Song! He does not have any previous issues or scandals before so having this kind of golden egg to drop from the skies in front of them was sothing they would die to get the inside information for. This is rare ah! A rare scandal that the CEO Song was involved with.’
The reporters gritted their teeth. They do not want to pass on this opportunity of getting the most rarest scoop they could ever have in this years of snooping around.
The dia people steeled their resolves and convince themselves that the person before them was just a normal human being just like them...or so they wanted to think.
"Why is it that we did not hear any news regarding your marriage? Why keep it hidden?"
"Does your silence ant that you are ashad to be with this woman."
With this last question, the last nerve on and reason that Lexus had finally snapped as he erupted with full force.
"Nonsense!"
Lexus beca very anxious about this question and wanted to deny it imdiately.
’These people are really pouring dirty water on in front of my wife!’ Lexus was s angry. He does not want to make October misunderstood him. Just the thought of it made him shiver. He took a quick and uneasy look behind him and saw that October was still calm despite her brows knitted together. He let out a breath of relief.
Lexus’ voice was so loud and resounding that it instantly silenced the rowdy dia people. Their minds felt like it just blanked out for a mont before they blinked their eyes and recollected themselves. They again exploded in another bout of questions one after another. They were feeling excited, exhilarated, and just overly curious. What’s more, they had finally got an answer after a lot of questions!
They can’t stop now. This was the right ti to push.
"President Song, you say that you are not ashad about your relationship with her, but why make it hidden until now."
"How long have you two been together?"
"Was there other reasons why your relationship was kept a secret from the public?
"Why reveal it now? Was it because it got leaked out?"
Lexus pursed his lips and did not want to answer anymore. If he answered them again, they would ask him yet another serious of questions and that was just too irritating.
Noticing that Lexus was not planning to answer them, they had changed their target as they aid their direction to October who was silent this whole ti.
"The lady in the back, are you together with President Song?"
"What is your relationship with him?"
"Are you trying to hide or was it President Song who forced you to keep your relationship with him a secret to us?"
"Why are you not answering our questions? Are you not in a position to answer or even show yourself?"
"Are you embarrassed?"
Finally, they asked the question they all wanted to ask from the very beginning of this all. They swallowed the lump stuck in their throats and tightened their hold of their equipnt in anticipation. Their hearts pounded in their chest, nervous and excited. Their eyes glowed.
"People are very curious about the lucky lady that President Song had married, that include us. So, the lady at the back, are you that rumored wife of President Song?"
October really was not bothered by all of these but Lexus wanted to shield her from them. It was sweet and she was grateful for it. However, this had already escalated up to this point and there was no escaping this anymore.
The marriage she requested to Lexus was simple and low-key. And that made it seem like it was hidden because of how silent the marriage was. Well, they registered their marriage a month after their first eting and after knowing that she was pregnant. Another month had passed and they had finally had that wedding ceremony. So, it was not considered as a secret that they had kept for long, huh.
Maybe noticing the movent in his back, Lexus’ eyes flickered as he said to October, "No. I will handle this. Don’t worry."
Lexus was worried that after this, and people will know that she was married to him, a lot of things may happen, good or bad. If good, then it was okay. But if sothing bad happened to her, then it was his fault for letting her be exposed to danger.
October squeezed Lexus’ hand in reassurance. She was already so moved that her heart was brimming with warmth and spread all over her body. She was already happy and thankful for his thoughtfulness.
’Thank you for protecting this whole ti. But I don’t want to rely on you all the ti. Soone like could not tolerate it.’ She said to her heart as she looked at the broad and reliable back of the man she accepted with all of her being as her husband. This ti, she has to step up and make him rely on her too.
