While the ladies were in total commotion in the presence of the top model that was greatly sought after by many brands, Zihao, Elise was in the changing room. She was not oblivious of the racket outside and the one thing that she imdiately thought about was her boyfriend.
Her heart grew alard and was even slightly irritated.
Elise quickly gathered her things and did not dare to delay anymore. If she did, she was worried that her boyfriend will get taken advantage of because of how good-natured and gentlemanly he was. He was such a good person that he would not show any discourtesy toward other people even if he was treated rudely.
As Elise was about to grad the door handle, she stopped midway when her phone suddenly rang.
Riiing...riiing...riiing...
"What?!" Elise harshly answered the phone. She was already agitated and irritated about the thought of having those ladies taking advantage of her boyfriend and will eventually try to touch him greedily with their dirty claws. She did not care about who was on the other phone because right now, she was very much pissed that she could not stop herself from venting her anger out on other people.
"My, my. Soone had such a huge temper." A woman’s voice sounded from the other end of the phone followed by a giggle that was quite lodious and sweet sounding. Her voice was even that of an oriole, clear and bright like sunshine.
However, this was not the case if Elise did not know who this voice belonged to. Yes, she might have thought that she was a good person but when outside of the public, a heart tainted with black can be seen.
"Fu Yung." Elise said through gritted teeth as her face turned dark and her irritation worsened. She really does not want to deal with this woman right now. The most important thing for her right now was to ward off those insects flying shalessly around her boyfriend.
Fu Yung laughed again rrily and made herself comfortable as she laid on her side on the couch in their living room. She looked carefree and had on a sweet smile on her gorgeous. But her smile did not reach her eyes for it was chilling and sinister.
"You don’t seem happy about talking to ." Fu Yung smirked. She then looked at the maids in the room and they automatically filed to walk out of the room before quietly closing the door behind them. This made it easier for Fu Yung to talk about the matter she had waited. Yet, the damn woman, this Elise, seed to have forgotten about their agreent.
Fu Yung could not wait any longer and had to be the one to contact Elise first.
’Since you know that I’m not happy to talk to you, then don’t call .’ Is what Elise was thinking in her mind but chose to swallow her words down her throat with such difficulty.
"Well, anyway, I don’t care about your well-being, as long as you don’t interfere with my plans." Fu Yung’s eyes sharpened as soon as she touched that topic relating to October. Her hand then stretched out to pick so grapes from the plate placed before her and popped it into her mouth. Almost imdiately after she chewed on it, the juicy sweetness of the grapes flooded her mouth. "I think there is no need for to remind you about that any further, right?"
’If you don’t know what I am talking about, then you are just too stupid to comprehend what I am curious about.’
"If it is about that, then you don’t have to worry about that." Elise replied. Her teeth grinding to tightly in her mouth and she could not help but shiver in place, trying to control her turbulent emotions.
"Oh? Really now? Good. I’m glad that that was already settled." Elise felt delighted and seemingly excited about sothing. "However, you really took your ti in getting in contact with that emotionless b*tch. Feeling guilty now? Do you want to withdraw?"
Fu Yung’s voice that was filled with nace was heard and travelled to enter Elise’s ear. Her frosty smile widened even more. She paused for a mont before she continued, "But do you think that that woman will forgive you for what you did to her? Hahaha~!"
It seed like Fu Yung’s words pierced through Elise’s heart for her face went pale all of a sudden. Her eyes then were filled with sorrow and guilt was gnawing her heart. Fu Yung’s mocking voice made her negative feelings more worse.
"You are such a vile woman." Elise spat.
"I’m vile?" She laughed out and her stomach even ached at how hard she laughed. "If I am such a vile person, then as soone who was trusted and close to that woman but betrayed her a number of tis for her own selfish reason, then what are you? You are worse than , is it not?"
"..." Elise’s body shook rapidly. She could not say more to this woman. She felt so stupid for getting herself used like so sort of pawn in a chess ga and was disposable at any mont as soon as it was deed useless.
"I really look forward to your performance with October and Young Master Song."
"Why do you want to destroy October’s happiness so badly?!" Elise exclaid.
Fu Yung only snorted at this. "Aren’t you doing the sa? But then again, I am not obliged to tell you about it."
A dark look then glowed in Fu Yung’s eyes and a sneer on her face. Why does she not like October being happy? It is just too repulsive to see that expressionless broken woman be happy now. Seeing her glow radiantly was stinging her eyes.
"No." Was her abrupt answer.
"Well, either way, I don’t really care. As long as you do that, then that’s good." Fu Yung nonchalantly said and slowly got up from the couch and walked toward the floor to ceiling window. Then, a ghostly smiled appeared on her gorgeous face and said, "Send my regards to Hao’er for ."
And the call ended.
Elise looked at her phone and gripped it tightly until her hand turned white and blue. She glared at the caller ID in her phone.
"Elise? Are you still there? Are you okay?" Zihao’s voice was suddenly heard by the door, making Elise snap out of her reverie. Her heart then skipped a beat at his sexy voice. She really could not get enough of him and warmth quickly enveloped her fluttering heart.
Calmly taking a breath in and letting it out shakily, Elise had finally cald herself down and displayed a smile on her face opening the door. As soon as she opened it, she was imdiately greeted by the glowing presence so charming and dazzling in front of her.
If anything, Elise will fall in love with him countless tis. But then her smile stiffened when an image of that cold beauty appeared all too suddenly in her mind.
Noticing the blank look on Elise’s face, Zihao got worried as he went closer to her and grabbed her hand. He gave it a light squeeze and sure enough, Elise had successfully snapped awake and turned to look at him.
"Let’s go to another store. I don’t like it here." Elise said and coiled her arms around Zihao’s arm and pulled him out of the store to go sowhere else.
