October and Lexus spent their honeymoon in a peaceful and harmonious fashion. One could see that the two were happy and contented on each other’s company.
"The fridge is already empty." October said to Lexus as soon as she opened and saw the pitiful contents inside.
On their first day of the mansion, the kitchen was filled with a lot of ingredients from vegetables to at. Yet it did not even reach half of the second day for they had already emptied the kitchen. They had literally raided it.
October noticed the cold presence nearing her and finally enveloping her in a loving hug. Lexus then rested his chin on her shoulders and looked at the empty fridge with dead eyes.
"Yes." He said with a flat tone, not at all caring about it making October’s brow twitch in annoyance.
She was also surprised that they used up all of their ingredients so fast. Well, considering that they were not able to eat food during the reception and she had little food for breakfast before that to keep her figure, she was famished.
After she and Lexus finished eating, they were strolling around the mansion and then to the backyard where a lake can be seen from afar. The rest of the day were spent lounging in the cozy living room.
"That’s all you have to say?" October felt her head ache. "We need to buy so groceries and other supplies."
"Okay. I’ll call the butler to be here. Then just tell him what you want and he will buy it." Lexus lazily said and continued to snuggle on her neck.
October closed the fridge before twisting herself to face Lexus and made a displeased look on her pretty face. She was again reminded that Lexus was not used to living by himself and let the maids and butlers do the chores for him.
"Why do we need to inconvinience the butler? We can do it ourselved. Shopping and groceries, I an." She said and pushed herself off of Lexus to have so distance and breather.
Lexus was, of course, disappointed that October left his embrace. Still, he did not say anything. He had already made his way of her for the whole night. Itwas eevident on the red marks he left on her exposed shoulders and back.
He touched his marks on October making her flinch at his every touch as if she was scorched with fire. It was also quite ticklish and so slapped his sinful hand away.
Lexus raised his brow at her and looked at his hand that was just slapped. It was not red and was not painful but he was just dumbfounded for a few seconds. But he was not at all angry about it.
"Okay. Then when we are at it, let us grab our lunch there." She said and started to walk out of the kitchen. She was then followed by Lexys who had his hands tucked in his pockets.
After a few minutes, October and Lexus went out to buy groceries.
The two strolled around and bought things they needed. This included their toiletries and cleaning supplies. Since they were the only people living in that huge mansion, they have to do the cleaning themselves. Well, to be precise, October does the cleaning.
"You really are a "young master" wh odoes not know house chores." October said nonchalantly and sotis looked at so shops.
’I should start learning so fashion from Mother.’ October thought this fleetingly as she looked at the dresses on racks.
"There are people who does it." He answered truthfully with a shurg of his shoulders. "But I did learn cleaning since yesterday. Actually, I think I am pretty good at it."
"Yeah, after breaking half of the plates." She said almost rolling her eyes at him.
He smirked and shrugged his shoulders again, acting indifferent about it. "I did clean those too...I tried."
"And you got your finger cut." She retorted with a click of her tongue. She has to clean that up after tending to his cut. It was not that she was angry about it but rather, she was really worried when she saw the blood oozing out of his cut.
As the two was imrsed in their sweet bickering, the people who they passed by were awestruck at the two’s dazzling beauty. They had never seen the couple before and so imdiately thought that they were tourists. Also, they were just too beautiful that it was unlikely that they would forget such couple.
They were already at so restaurant taking a break from shopping to have their lunch. As they were waiting, October’s phone rung all of a sudden.
October looked at her phone and saw that it was Elise.
That’s right! She saw Elise on her wedding but she had not seen her after that.
"Elise, hello." October answered.
"Lanna, congratulations on your wedding." Elise started. "I’m sorry I was not able to greet you personally. You just, well, took off all of sudden with your husband."
"Oh. Thank you and sorry about that."
"You know, we were not able to hang out for a long ti now. I missed you." Elise said with a sad tone in her voice. Her voice seed shaky as if she was about to cry anyti soon.
"I missed you too. I was just busy with so things." October said, feeling a little guilty.
Lexus adjusted his glasses on his nose, looking more sharp and cold. He was looking nonchalant and cared about nothing but October in his arms.
So ladies and waitress could not stop themselves from having a look at him. Their face were tinged with blush while sending seductive glances at him. Unfortunately, Lexus acted as if they were invinsible.
He looked around and his face darkened when he noticed that so n were checking his wife out. His temper flared and his glare as piercing as daggers pierced on each of those n’s heads. He does not and cannot tolerate n looking so infatuated with his wife.
"Then I need to make it up to you. How about having dinner with ? That’s alright with you, right?" Elise exclaid, feeling excited.
October thought about it before replying, "Okay."
"You can also invite Lexus with you. I also want to congratulate the man who snatched my bestfriend away from ." She said, sounding a little depressed.
"You don’t have to." October shook her head. It was not like she does not want others to get close to Lexus. That’s not it at all, okay? Not at all!
"I insist, Lanna. It’ll be fun. My treat this ti." Elise said. "How about this Saturday?"
"I can’t. I’m...I’m in a 2-week long honeymoon with my...husband." October said, still feeling embarrassed to say "husband" while referring to Lexus.
"Oh~." Elise’s voice faded before opening her mouth again after soti of contemplation, "Next just call when you are already back in the city." Elise said, twirling a lock of hair that strayed on her shoulder.
"Okay, I’ll do that." October nodded her head. She turned to Lexus and asked for his opinion, "Elise invited us to have dinner with her."
Lexus raised his brow at this before looking at October. "Okay."
October whipped her head and turned her attention back on Elise, "He said that it was okay."
"Great!" Elise was elated. She was really excited when she would get the chance to ask Lexus about so things. It will be exciting. "Then do tell when you’re ho, okay. Bye for now."
"Hon, who are you calling to?" A deep male voice sounded on the background of Elise which October heard.
October looked at her phone with a frown. She seed to have heard this voice before. Who was it?
