October stood still. Her heart was nervously thumping in her chest, almost as if it wanted to jump out of her. Her knees were shaking and was losing it’s strength. She can’t seem to move.

All eyes were on her. So faces she could not recognize and so faces were sowhat familiar to her. She took a shaky breath trying to calm her nerves but it seed that it would not go away anyti soon.

’What should I do? I’m too nervous to move. My mind’s going blank.’ Her face was hidden behind the veil. She had on a make up just for this day. Without it, her face would be so pale as if no blood was flowing.

"Eh? What happened?" A guest asked softly at the person next to her.

"Maybe she’s having second thoughts?"

"But isn’t she already married to him?" A guest who knew of this said with a look of doubt.

"My, my. Maybe she’s really that serious about this things."

Whispers started to errupt, making the ceremony quite noisy.

Mother Song’s eyes turned sharp. She scanned the crowd with her eyes full of daggers and as if their tongues was cut off, they shut their mouths instantly.

"Hmph!" Mother Song harrumphed in disgust at the hideous faces of those back-stabbing people. But then again, this was partly her fault since she was the one who sent the invitation letters.

October frowned. Even though October grandpa was beside her, trying to calm her down, it seed that she could not hear him. Voices seed so muddled she could not make out any sound.

Suddenly, a strong gaze pierced into her, catching her attention. Her head looked up and locked eyes with him.

’Ah. How could I do this, getting so nervous that I forgot to walk. His burning gaze so hot that my body is getting hot. He’s getting impatient.’ October’s nervousness was completely forgotten. Her face had on a beautiful smile so srizing that one could not resist gawking at it. Even having on a veil did not hide her stunning face.

"He’s so cute." She muttered under her breath with a gentle look on her face. After that, she again took a small breath and this ti, her eyes were firm.

"Lan’er? Are you not walking? Grandpa will stop the wedding if you want." Grandpa He said, getting worried when he noticed that his granddaughter stopped in her tracks just as they were about to walk down the aisle.

October’s hold on her grandpa’s arm tightened and her back straightened. Without breaking their eye contact, she took a step into the aisle of flowers towards the man she called her husband. Sohow, her heart was hamring to loudly in her chest yet it was not painful; instead, it was filled with yearning and warmth.

Grandpa He caught a glimpse of the tender-filled face and eyes full of affection on October toward the man waiting for her in front. He was reluctant to give his precious granddaughter to so guy; but to watch her having colorful expressions, he’d do anything to maintain that happiness she had right now.

It was as if the heavy weight on his shoulders just got lifted off. His heart his now lighter too.

With that, he gladly escorted October with his face forward and his back straight that was filled with confidence and arrogance.

The crowd’s eyes were fixated on the October. Her lace wedding dress was an off-shoulder, showing off her smooth and pale white skin. The dress hugged her well-proportioned body from chest down to her waist. At the lower part of the dress was flowing so fluid like water yet soft and airy at every blow of this gentle wind. It had on a long slit in front just stopping right on her mid-thigh, showing her slim and smooth legs and behind was a long trail behind.

This was not all. On top of her head was a small crown filled with glitterring diamonds placed over her see-through veil. With every move, her veil lift with the wind, making the guests to get a quick peek at the beauty hidden behind that veil. This only left them flustered and speechless.

To top it off, her only jewelry on her was a necklace and a ring. That’s right. It was the forget--not flower necklace that Lexus gifted her and the engagent ring.

Even though the necklace that October wore seed to be small and out of place, it sohow glittered at every hit of the sun’s light, giving it an elegant and noble charm. It did not affect the dress she wore and downgrade; instead, it helped her look more enchanting and mysterious, like an immortal walking in air.

At this mont, while the guests were in awe at the bride, two people had on a very sinister look on their faces. It was as if they had stepped on so slly sh*t. That’s the only term that could describe their expressions at this mont.

’This slut! Her wedding does not seem to be big. Heck it was even so small, only about less than fifty guests attending! But how co do I feel like her wedding is more grand than my own before? Why does it seed like Iost a great battle?!’ Fu Yung bit her lip so hard that it was starting to bleed. As the tallic taste filled her mouth, she did not care. She did not bother with it. She was too fixated on glaring daggers and October’s back.

Fu Yung had already snatched what once belonged to October. Her father, her fortune, her ho, all of that were now hers. But this was not the case anymore! She felt so defeated! She could not accept this. This bitter feeling was making her mad.

Her eyes were full of hatred and envy. It was as if she wanted to eat October whole, bit her flesh and drink her blood.

It was a good thing for her that her husband was not able to see this dark look on her face because he was also busy glaring coldly at October and the old man that was escorting her. His fists were shaking on his side as he looked grimly at the two walking on the aisle.

His duaghter was the one that was getting married so isn’t it logical for him to be her escort? Also, this crappy sitting arrangent was also pissing him off. What kind of treatnt is this to the father of the bride? This was frustrating.

And who that f*ck is that old guy? He seed powerful and wealthy and he also seed familiar yet he could not pinpoint where the familiarity ca from. But that’s not important right now.

Wasn’t he invited because he will be escorting his daughter?

This is just ridiculous! Are they humiliating him on purpose? He was the father of October, the real biological father, not that old man! Where did October even found him?

Peizhi’s face was filled with dark lines. He seed calm but his eyes were brewing with storm. It was in chaos.

After this, he swore that he will make October know her place and tell her off. Isn’t this outright embarrassing him! This unfilial daughter! She really doesn’t know her place at all.

While Fu Yung and Peizhi was busy cursing October with a dark look on their face, Longwei stared at them unblinkingly.
