"Hi, Secretary Yun."
"Ah! Assistant Yu." Yun Xixi let out a sigh of relief and pressed a hand over her jumping heart in her chest. She thought that she would be dragged back her family ho and be locked inside. She almost run out like crazy just to outrun them and also planned out her "attacks" she will do in case they will catch her.
She then turned pale as she realized that she will have to quit her job and be away from her boss. She gritted her teeth at this thought and determination flashed across her eyes. She swore that she will not let her family ruin everything she had achieved today and take away her freedom. She would not let her family take her away from her boss.
"Secretary Yun? Are you okay?" Assistant Yu’s worried voice was heard, making Yun Xixi to abrubtly turn to him only to make her realize that his face was only inches away from her. He was looking at her with a worried look on his good-looking face.
As if this was not enough, Assistant Yu placed his huge hand over her forehead and felt it, saying, "You don’t have fever. That’s good. But you look a little pale though. Are you alright?"
’Wh-what is this? This was clearly overstepping into her personal space!’ Yun Xixi’s face imdiately turned bright red as she realized the distance between them. She then flusteredly took a step back to make so space between them. Only, because of how sudden her movent was, she lost her footing and had tripped.
"Ah..." Yun Xixi yelped in surprise and squeezed her eyes shut. She was falling. She cursed herself as she must have looked pathetic right now.
Yun Xixi waited for the impact and the pain yet both did not co.
"A-are you really okay, Secrectary Yun?" Assistant Yu asked again. His worry increased again as he looked at the fragile-looking lady in his arms.
She felt so small and soft. She also has this fruity fragrance from her; however, it was not annoyingly strong that would make his head ache. In fact, it slled so subtle that he could not get enough of it. As soon as this thought passed through his mind, his head leaned even closer down to Yun Xixi’s neck where this fruity fragrance was more abundant.
"Ah~" Yun Xixi’s eyes flashed with embarrassnt and alarm.
"It slled so delicious." Assistant Yu softly said. His voice was so quiet and was loud as a whisper. This comnt would not have been heard but because of their close proximity, Yun Xixi was able to hear this.
Delicious? Seriously? Yun Xixi’s mind exploded and felt a little dizzy. She does not know if this was because of her embarrassnt from their closeness and their current position while in the street or because of her hunger, but right now, she just really wanted to faint.
"Yeah, I really like your fruity perfu, miss secretary." Assistant Yu said with a bright smile on his face. He said this quite naturally, as if he had said this kind of lines a thousand tis to other won.
"Pl-please let go of . Just..let go." Yun Xixi stumred. She turned to the side. She could not look at Assistant Yu’s eyes at all. She was too embarrassed to do that.
"Oh. I’m sorry." Assistant Yu imdiately let go of Yun Xixi. When he saw that she was still a bit unsteady, he put a hand on her back to support her. "I...I just slipped my tongue. Sorry about that, Secretary Yun. Also, you don’t look so good. You were pale at first then your face is now red. Do you really fever?"
"What? No...of course I don’t have fever. It is..just like this because I got exposed under the heat of the sun for minutes now while waiting for so taxi." She replied as she turned to the side to avoid any eye contact with Assistant Yu as she fanned her burning face.
"Oh. Where are you going then?"
"Go grab so lunch." Yun Xixi grumbled, and as if to agree with her, her stomach growled loudly.
’Damn it, belly! Why do you have to make a sound now?!’ Yun Xixi wanted to run away from Assistant Yu to find a hole she can crawl to and hide. This was so embarrassing.
"Oh? Then let’s go together." Assistant Yu said as he looked at the cute lady beside him. Since his boss had gone to eat with his wife, he was left behind to eat on his own. Seeing the conflict showing on her clear eyes, he added, "Having soone to eat with is more fun than being alone."
After so thought, Yun Xixi reluctantly nodded her head. "You’re right."
"So, is there any place you wanted to go?" Assistant Yu asked as he escorted Yun Xixi to the front seat and opened it for her. As he went around and sat on the driver’s seat, he turned to Yun Xixi and waited for her reply.
"Secretary Yun, do I look scary to you?" Assistant Yu asked, feeling a bit hurt. Was he forceful with her just now? He should have not approached her so bluntly like that.
"No, no, of course you’re not. A good-looking man like you is not scary at all. Ah!" Yun Xixi covered her mouth as she realized that she just said what was on her mind. She even said "good-looking." Isn’t this the sa as confessing to him?!
Yun Xixi covered her blushing face and wanted to cry. Maybe this was a bad idea, after all.
Assistant Yu chuckled at this and cheekily said, "No, I should be the one that is most honored to be with such a charming lady like you to eat with soone like , Secretary Yun."
After he said that, Assistant Yu started the car and drove off.
Ah? Charming lady? ? Yun Xixi looked at Assistant Yu weirdly. Is Assistant Yu’s eyes bad?
"So, where do you wanna go?" Assistant Yu asked again as he kept his eyes on the road.
"I’ll let you decide." Yun Xixi akly said this, taking quick glances at Assistant Yu’s side profile. At this angle, she can see his dark and alert eyes, straight nose, and thin pinkish lips. His skin was also fair, like a woman’s. When they were close with each other, she felt his skin and thought how smooth it was.
As a woman, she was really ashad of her own skin.
Thinking this, she looked at her skinny arms and touched it. It felt soft to the touch but...it was not as soft as Assistant Yu’s skin.
"Okay." Assistant Yu nodded his head and his speed accelerated.
After only just a few minutes, they have arrived at a restaurant called Lagoon. He parked his car on the parking lot and got out of the far at the sa ti that Yun Xixi got out. The two then entered the restaurant and imdiately ordered so food.
"Order anything you want. I’ll pay for it." Assistant Yu said with a gentle smile on his face.
"Really? Uhm...I don’t think I can do that." Yun Xixi shook her head.
"I insist. This is my thanks for keeping company."
"...Okay." Yun Xixi nodded. If soone who knew Yun Xixi saw the her right now, they would not believe that she was so silent and acting so timid like this.
